After settling on a plan, Yuan Si scaled the courtyard wall as silently as a cat. She gave a hand signal to Xiao Furen below, then used her spiritual power to lock onto the man dozing at the base of the wall. Leaping lightly behind him, she wrapped one arm around his neck in a chokehold and chopped his nape with her other hand. The man was knocked unconscious before he could even react.
Supporting the man with one hand, Yuan Si slowly lowered him to the ground without making a sound. She then repeated the process, taking care of all three men in the courtyard.
She stealthily opened the courtyard gate and beckoned to Xiao Furen. Once he was inside, he shut the gate without a word from Yuan Si. He spotted a large padlock by the handle, likely the one they usually used. After a moment's thought, he fastened it. That way, if anyone managed to slip past them and make a run for it, they wouldn't be able to get the gate open in a hurry.
