Jiang Xia's words, "Close relatives cannot marry," made their pupils dilate. They said in unison, "Xiao Xian?"
"Is that possible?"
An Ning said, confused, "Xiao Xian doesn't seem like a fool."
Jiang Xia nodded affirmatively. As he and An Ning went downstairs, he whispered, "He's not a fool, but the Xiao Family of the past was no good."
It was just a guess; they had no real evidence.
At the hospital entrance, Jiang Xia opened the car door. An Ning got into the passenger seat, and the two of them drove away.
By a window in a corner of the hospital, Xiao Yan, who was supposed to be completely dejected, flashed past.
Inside the car driving away from the hospital, Jiang Xia and An Ning were discussing their next move.
"You never planned on letting the Xiao Family go. What was your original plan?"
An Ning asked. Jiang Xia's hands tightened on the steering wheel, and he tried to keep his voice steady as he said, "No one is truly clean, especially not the Xiao Family."
