On their second night at the nightclub, Brother Hu personally escorted An Ning and Zhao Pandi there, and they changed into their work outfits.
An Ning and Zhao Pandi arrived a bit early today. The two newcomers sat in the dressing room, listening to the others talk.
Most of the women here weren't from Hong Kong. Their backgrounds were similar to Zhao Pandi's; they all dreamed of making a name for themselves in the city.
"Alright, alright, everyone out!"
"If you have time to stand around gossiping, you should be making yourselves presentable."
The madam appeared and led a group of women away.
This time, An Ning and Zhao Pandi were given special attention and placed at the front of the line.
After the head madam went home yesterday, the more she thought about it, the more something felt off. Today, she started the night's work, determined to redeem herself from yesterday's embarrassment.
In the third room, An Ning and Zhao Pandi were finally picked by a client.
