Chapter 2 - Chapter 2: Live Streaming to Earn Money to Support My Husband

At that moment, on the Shark Platform, a streamer with over 100,000 fans named "Rose Milk Tea" was live, pouring her heart out to her followers.

"Everyone, I haven't been feeling right lately. I've been struggling with insomnia and nightmares, and I feel so anxious."

[You can't earn all the money in the world. See, now your health is paying the price, huh?]

[Our poor, long-suffering Milk Tea, live online earning money to support her husband...]

[Milk Tea, you really don't seem okay today. Have you seen a doctor? If you're not feeling well, just end the stream. Your husband needs to give you a break.]

Rose Milk Tea was an attractive lifestyle and e-commerce streamer. Although she was married, her cute, baby-like face, combined with her unique sales tactics, had attracted a large following of male homebodies.

In her circle, she was jokingly known as the ultimate hustler.

"I know everyone's worried about me, but I can't bear to see my husband so exhausted. If he hadn't been there for me when my parents passed away, I don't think I would have made it through."

Rose Milk Tea's eyes welled up as she spoke.

[Don't cry, Milk Tea! We'll support you! Now drop the links!]

"Thank you all for your support. The insomnia and nightmares are no big deal, really. I'll push through! My husband has been up all night with worry lately, and he's even started going out to look for business opportunities. That's why I have to step up! I have to stream hard and make more money!"

[This streamer is a terminal case of being love-drunk!]

[Am I the only one who feels like something is off with her husband? He doesn't seem to care about her at all, yet he lets her work herself to death streaming!]

[I've seen this before. The husband is totally cheating! I'd bet a dollar on it!]

Seeing her fans speak ill of her husband, Rose Milk Tea immediately changed the subject. She didn't want anyone thinking badly of him.

"I'm so touched that you're all so concerned about me. So, I've decided to get a psychologist on a call right now. They can prove to you that there's nothing seriously wrong with me, and then you'll all stop worrying and let me stream in peace, right?"

As she spoke, Rose Milk Tea began searching the Shark Platform for a livestream channel run by a psychologist.

However, it was a niche category, one that most people assumed wasn't profitable, so after searching for a long time, she still hadn't found anyone.

Just as Rose Milk Tea was about to give up, she spotted a livestream channel titled, "Wen Family Psychological Consultation, 1,000 Per Session."

She instantly entered the channel and requested to join the broadcast. She had originally assumed the psychologist would be a man, which could have been used to generate some buzz.

"Psychologist Wen Ying?"

A strange look flashed across Rose Milk Tea's face. The doctor was a woman, and even more beautiful than she was.

[Don't back out, Milk Tea! This is the one! We've chosen her!]

Milk Tea, who had been about to make a hasty exit, now looked a little hesitant. "I never expected there'd be such a beautiful psychologist on this platform... It's just, one thousand per session is a bit steep, isn't it?"

[What's so expensive about it?! Don't you go anywhere, Milk Tea, I'll donate! I want this beautiful doctor to check you out!]

When Wen Ying saw someone enter her broadcast, a smile touched her lips. "Welcome to the stream, fellow patient Rose Milk Tea."

Hearing this, everyone in the stream, including Rose Milk Tea herself, started to laugh.

This streamer was certainly interesting. No one had ever dared to call their viewers "fellow patients" before.

[This streamer's fun. 'Fellow patient?' Is she role-playing? By that logic, doesn't that make this pretty lady my own personal doctor?~]

Seeing her own fans getting so excited over Wen Ying, Rose Milk Tea quickly spoke up to seize back the spotlight. "Hello, Doctor Wen. The price listed on your channel is a bit steep, isn't it? I've seen expert-level psychologists before who only charged two or three hundred a session. Do your treatment methods differ somehow?"

[Is it the kind of therapy where we lie down together face-to-face? 'Cause if so, I'm more than willing, miss!]

Wen Ying smiled. "Psychological issues are wide-ranging, and their treatments are complex. Patient Milk Tea, when you saw those other psychologists, were you cured in a single session?"

Rose Milk Tea instinctively shook her head. "No."

"Come to my stream, and I guarantee I can cure your psychological problems in a single session."
