As massive waves crashed against the shore, the weather suddenly turned eerie, revealing twelve coffins buried deep beneath the sea.
Unaware of the approaching danger, a child innocently asked her mother,
"Isn't father coming with us?"
Seeing her child's innocence, the woman replied softly,
"Your father is far away. He will return when he finishes his work."
Unpleased by her mother's reply, the child huffed in frustration, not knowing who her father truly was—or what he had been doing.
Seven years passed.
One day, Ruend mockingly said to Nelo,
"Look who we have here—the child of unknown origin. A boy without a father."
He stood in the school corridor with his fellow classmates, laughing.
Long accustomed to such mockery, Nelo quietly entered his classroom.
After a while, their homeroom teacher, Miss Rose, entered. The day passed without major trouble—only the usual insults and whispers.
When classes ended, Nelo walked straight to Miss Rose's car.
As the car drove away, Nelo asked his aunt,
"Why do you teach in such a shabby school even though you're rich? Isn't it a waste?"
Miss Rose chuckled.
"Love, that was just a joke. Don't get your hopes up. You'll understand soon… and brace yourself for what is to come."
"Why are you threatening me on my birthday?" Nelo complained.
She tossed him a small, expensive-looking earring.
"Your gift. Don't think of selling it. It was left behind by your father."
Soon, they arrived at Nelo's home. He thanked his aunt and went inside.
Not seeing his mother, he climbed the stairs to search for her.
Suddenly, she appeared.
Without a word, she stabbed him in the chest.
Neither pain nor fear allowed him to speak. His strength faded as blood soaked his clothes.
As his vision darkened, the last thing he saw was his mother's tear-filled face.
