[IRIS POV]
I squawked, my face a burning red, and nearly tumbled from his arms. However, Healer Felix had an iron grip on my body, and he carried me as he walked down the path to the pack members' homes. I frowned, realizing that we weren't going to the infirmary as I expected.
"Where are we going?" I asked cautiously.
"Back to my house," Healer Felix said, his eyebrow twitching with dislike.
"You have a house?" I stupidly asked before wincing.
Of course he had a house. Everyone in the pack had a house, but I had assumed Healer Felix stayed in the infirmary to be closer to his work and patients. He was always available at the infirmary whenever I came looking for him, at least.
Healer Felix rolled his eyes at me. "No, I live under the floorboards like a cockroach. Of course I have a house to live in."
Then his voice got lower as he mumbled irritably under his breath.
"Then again, there is now a huge cockroach in the infirmary that I do not want to expose you to."
