[IRIS POV]
I was out of the infirmary after resting for a day, something Healer Felix thought was a medical marvel. However, I knew it was fully because of my wolf.
Ever since Caius had promised to teach me control, my wolf had taken it as an acknowledgement that he was going to take responsibility as our fated mate. I wanted to tell her not to get her hopes up, but it was futile.
At least she was having fun, I mused to myself. And her good mood meant that I felt myself growing stronger by the hour, to the point where I found myself needlessly pacing around my room while swinging my arms like a gorilla to get rid of the excess energy.
Healer Felix hovered at the door, casting me suspicious looks. "Iris, are you alright? You've been behaving strangely since you got admitted into the infirmary yesterday."
