Because now Yeongjae was above me, hovering, caging me in with his arms, looking at me like I was something he intended to devour completely.

“Did you have fun playing with me?” he asked, the corner of his mouth lifting in a dangerous smirk.

“I—I wasn’t playing with—”

“Shut up.”

Before I could react, his hand was on my jaw, holding me still as his mouth crashed into mine. His tongue swept inside, deep and claiming, stealing every ounce of control I thought I still had.

“Mmm—” I tried to protest, but the sound dissolved into a helpless moan when his body pressed closer.

I was already lost.

Before I could even adjust, he added another, curling them just the right angle while his thumb began rubbing tight circles.

“Oh my God… Yeongjae…” My back arched off the mattress, pleasure exploding through me so fast it made my head spin.

“Who’s the virgin now?” he murmured, watching me with dark, focused eyes. “You might be the first, but I’m not innocent, Sora. I’m not clueless...”

I laughed again. “I haven’t even said I want to keep doing this with you after tonight.”

The moment the words left my mouth, I knew I’d made a mistake.

“Then I guess I have work to do,” he said quietly. “I’ll just have to convince you.”

Before I could react, he shifted down the bed, his hands sliding along my thighs as he spread my legs apart.

“Yeongjae, wait, I haven’t—fu…”

Yeongjae cupped my face with both hands, his palms warm, grounding, almost reverent. He pressed a soft kiss to my forehead, and the tenderness of it made my chest ache.


"If I could turn back time, Sora… I would," he murmured.


I smiled, brushing my nose lightly against his. "Then you'd be in high school again while I'm in my twenties. That sounds illegal," I teased.


He chuckled. "Okay, maybe not that part. But if I could go back… I would've asked you to wait for me. I would've told you I'd grow up fast. I wouldn't have let you go through everything alone." His thumb stroked my cheek gently. "And I definitely wouldn't have let other men get close to you."


I raised a brow, even though my heart fluttered. "Oh? Is someone jealous?"


A slow smirk curved his lips. The back of his fingers traced down my jaw, along my neck, leaving goosebumps in their wake. "I just don't want to see you cry," he said quietly. "That's all."
