I look at my watch as the message appeared and found it has been a full day since my last draw. I think yes and the screen appears for the daily gacha. The foggy crystal appears in my and I crush it hoping for something good. Soon a green light appears in my hand, a visual representation of the rarity that was added, and a piece of crystal floats in my hand.

" well that's somethingof a waste," I say as I put the crystal into the gate and walk out of the safe room before heading down the stairs. Coming to the bottom of the stairs i push open the door and can tell the entire basement will be different from the game. The walls were covered in black mold that moves and pulses but also red glowing symbols looking much like demonic runes. Acrylic from me is a mesh locker and inside is a slightly glowing dagger. At first it looks like a large piece of sea glass with a leather wrap around a flatter end but I know what it is.
Going to the locker i open it up and pull out the seraph blade along with some handgun ammo (15) and a chemical fluid bag. As I test the blade I hear shuffling behind me. Turning around i see something shuffling in the darkened hallway and I prepare the lemi and blade. As I look into the hall something flashes out at a quick pace and wraps around my leg pulling me off my feet.
The thick pink rope, appendage pulls me towards the darkness and I take the seraph blade and try to slice it. The appendage is like steel and the blade barely slices it. After several hits and my leg barely going into the darkness the appendage comes off with a screech and I hiss in pain as my foot touches the shadows, no wall of darkness and it feels like I'm getting burned.
I scoot back quickly and I hear the screech and a fleshy mold monster comes flying out of the dark and lands on top of me, knockingtheblade andthe lemi from my hands. The appendage appears again out of its mouth and I start punching the creature that resembles a licker. Punching the reinforced head of the new creature it opens its mouth and sprays my face with black mold burning my skin. I scream and the tongue starts trying to go down my throat and I grab the slimey appendage. Prying the appendage away i grab the seraph blade and stab the tongue into the floor. As the tongue is stabbed i grab the lemi and fire three shots into the creatures head. It jerks back ripping iyt the tongue and i grab the blade before stabbing it through the mouth and out through the top of its head.
" fuck why does everything feel like a fucking hentai," I shout pouring some of the first aid on me.

" fuck, also the fucking darkened hallway," I say looking at the hall," what was that?"
Demonic presence has been found inside the basement area of this house and it can influence the shadows causing pain.
" well shit," I say as I reload the lemi. Looking at the dark hallway I sigh and pull out my uv flashlight and shine into the darkness. I hear a hiss and the wall of darkness receded past the hallway and around a corner. The overhead lights coming on in flickers before the low humming fills the hallway from the lights. Walking down the hall I try pushing on a door and entering a room that looks to be a storage room. Shelves line the wall and run through the center of the room. Walking through the there's nothing but mold and entrails, maybe animal maybe human, hanging off the shelves. Getting to the back of the room the shadows come back and fills the room except a small lantern on a table in the corner. The shadows screech and start smashing through the shelves throwing them everywhere and I rush towards the light. Getting into the light before the shadows grab my leg and tries to drag me back into their depths.
I sigh before looking around the corner and picking up the lantern. As I walk towards the shadows they withdraw as the light touches them but the way it came in is blocked by the destroyed shelves. I sigh and look down at my feet as something rolls against it, I find a canister labeled solid fuel and I notice a small gauge on the lantern. I look at the gauge slowly going down before the system gives me information on the item.
Caution: the lantern uses both solid fuel and burner fuel. Solid fuel burns longer but produces smaller light circles. While the burner fuel is brighter circles but burns quicker.
" so I'm basically playing a timed/ situation trial on this part of the house," I say looking at the shadows curling around the edge of the lanterns glow.
' this is going to suck,' I think as I look around the room and find a small grate in the corner that was covered by a shelf. Removing the cover i look into the vent, I'm guessing that's what it is, and find it leading into another room.
