Chapter 1: The Boy Marked by the Lion

The story begins in Garowe, a quiet city surrounded by vast lands and open skies.

There lived a young boy named Jeylani. He was kind-hearted and deeply loved his family. Despite his young age, he carried a gentle soul and often wished to play with other children like everyone else.

But fate had other plans.

Jeylani suffered from epilepsy, an illness that had no cure at the time. Whenever he tried to run, laugh, or play freely, the disease held him back. Some children avoided him, others feared him, and slowly, loneliness became his closest companion.

One evening, Jeylani wandered alone toward the outskirts of the wilderness.

As the sun lowered and the air grew heavy, he suddenly realized he was surrounded by wild animals. Panic took over his body. He looked around desperately for a way to escape—but there was none.

Then he heard it.

A lion's roar—deeper and more powerful than the others.

The lion leapt toward him.

Jeylani screamed with all his strength. His cry echoed all the way to the village. Villagers rushed toward the sound, and after a fierce struggle, the lion was killed.

Jeylani was rushed to the hospital.

When he finally woke up, the first thing he saw was his mother, tears of joy streaming down her face. But something strange soon became clear…

The lion had not eaten him.

It had not torn him apart.

The people of the village were stunned.

That night, the village elders gathered. After long discussion, one elder spoke words that would never be forgotten:

> "This child… has been chosen by something beyond us."

Ten Years Later

Jeylani was no longer the weak boy from Garowe.

He had grown into a young man and moved to Mogadishu, where he began studying at a university. His epilepsy had completely disappeared—without explanation, without medicine.

Yet something remained.

A mark of the lion still existed on his body.

At times, Jeylani heard a distant sound—a low, echoing call that no one else could hear. He never understood its meaning and chose not to dwell on it.

One afternoon, after his classes ended, Jeylani stood at the roadside waiting for traffic to clear.

Suddenly, a small boy ran into the street.

A speeding car was heading straight toward him.

In a single instant, something awakened inside Jeylani.

A surge of blue and white energy exploded from his body. He moved like a flash of lightning, tearing through the air itself. The shockwave injured several people nearby.

But the child was saved.

Chaos erupted.

Blood stained the road. Screams filled the city. Jeylani stood frozen, staring at his own hands, unable to understand what he had just done.

Police and military forces arrived, weapons raised. Confused and overwhelmed, Jeylani surrendered.

Then it happened.

His eyes turned red.

The power returned—stronger, wilder, uncontrollable. He had no idea how to stop it.

Suddenly, a mysterious figure appeared before him and spoke urgently:

> "If you stay here… everyone will die."

Without thinking, Jeylani ran with him.

Moments later, a massive explosion shook Mogadishu. Buildings collapsed. The entire city trembled.

That day, the world realized something terrifying:

> This was not an isolated event.

Something had begun.
