After completing the Dungeon dive and having sex with the Foxsparks I headed back to my base for the night.
The next day I woke up and all the pals got up and began to automate the entire base, luckily in the tech tree their were things that I could make to have infinite farming of specfic items and after the dungeon dive I went from level 19 to 22.
Though the only infinite things I could get were wood and stone on top of that a new Pal Expedition Station for Pals to head out and scavenge nearby Dungeons and come back with Loot.
Chikipi & Lamballs drop eggs and wool that pals take and place in storage while Foxsparks take the eggs and cook them up in a fire pot so now besides berries cooked eggs were available to eat.
So after having eggs for breakfast I pulled together some new gear to by building an improved Weapon Workbench allowing me to create Gigaspheres.
I could build myself a a Musket now but with the really slow reload I'm going to wait until I can make a Makeshift Pistol before trying to use guns.
So with new better Palspheres, a new and improved glider and mega shield for protection I was ready to go.
So I took the Alpha Foxsparks along with the other strongest pals I had captured so far and began to head deeper inland for the first time.
I saw several new Pals I hadn't seen before which I went out of my way to battle and capture to increase my growing list of Pals as I headed further away from my base and activating Teleport statues across the way at that.
Soon enough I came across a crossroads sign that pointed in one direction that just said 'Hill Village' on it, so seeing that I headed off in that direction.
Walking up a long trail I finally came upon a small village in a little valley area situated right next to a river, seeing this I made my way over and touched the Teleport Statue to come back later.
Though as I approached the entrance I recognized a man wearing a full set of army grade combat armor holding a pump action shotgun in his hand was standing guard there.
"A new face huh? Well you aren't wearing the syndicate gear so I won't shoot you, but cause any trouble with the village or me and the PIDF and I'll take you down without question." He said resting the shotgun on his shoulder as he looked me up and down.
"PIDF? What's that?" I had to ask, hearing that he chuckled before holstering his shotgun and crossing his arms.
"You really aren't from here huh? The PIDF or the Palpagos Island Defense Force is the same as the Law Enforcement agency's back in the rest of the world, we are here to keep the peace so if you don't do anything illegal like killing people and stealing pals or even trespassing on the small off shore reservations for endangered Pal Species then we won't have any problems, but since your new I should give you a rundown on the main factions here on Palpagos Island." He said before explaining the Factions to me.
The Rayne Syndicate, the grunts I fought before, we're a group of criminals who deal with PAL Poaching and exploitation who reside in the Central part of the Main Islands lead by their leader Zoey
Then there's the Free PAL Alliance which are the exact opposite of the Rayne Syndicate and hate Pal Explotation and experimentation who are lead by their leader Lily in the icy north island, but aren't all like they say they are.
Following that there is the Brothers of the Eternal Pyre, a bunch of Pyromaniacs who want to destroy and burn it all down with them loacted on the Volcano Island.
PIDF is located out of the Large Desert Island to the North East and Lastly are the PAL Genetic Research Unit which researches and develops Pals with them located on the furthest north in the freezing cold ice of the Frozen Island.
All these groups occupy the several Towers on the Island and one of my quests has me needing to conquer these towers if I want to get anymore information I need to take down those towers.
But doing so would put me on the bad side of a lot of enemies so for the time being I'll keep boosting my strength and getting powerful Pals in the process.
After that the guy let me through though he said the Syndicates boss is still relatively new compared to the old boss so if I had to go after any Zoey would be my first target to take down.
There were more than 5 towers but the other two are on a different set of Islands several miles away from Palpagos so unless I have a boat or Water Pal to swim across that distance it doesn't really matter for now.
But with that out of the way there were a few shacks here and there that people were living in, a blacksmith who was forging rather basic weapons and sturdy armor, an inn that I could sleep at and get some food and lastly a two merchant shops, one who sells various items and another who sells Pals.
Seeing this I decided to head into the Pal Merchants shop as the man behind the counter was wiping it down before looking up at me.
"Welcome! Welcome! I see a new face has come to these parts, so what can I help you with?" He asked me as I came up to the counter.
"What Pals do you have for sale?" I ask him to which he pulls out a large ledger which appears to be a full list of Pals on it with different prices.
"I have plenty of the more common types of Pals available for sale, but I have limited quantities of Pals from more distant areas and unfortunately I don't have any of those pals for sale from Feybreak Island so if you want any from there you'll need to travel there yourself." He explains to me as I look at the list.
"Do you buy Pal Eggs?" I ask to which he nods.
"I do, but only if these are Pals you have bred for yourself and not eggs you can find out in the wild." He explains to which I nod and pull out one of Each Egg I have from the pals.
I couldn't hatch any of my pals yet since I didn't have the proper equipment to hatch the eggs so I decided it was best just to sell them instead.
It was 8 of each Chikipi, Lamball, Cattivia, Leafmunk, Pengullet and Fwack along with 2 Foxsparks Eggs and 1 Alpha Foxsparks Egg giving me over 51 Eggs
The normal small eggs from Chikipi, Lamball & Cattivia went for 100 gold a piece, the Leafmunk, Pengullet and Fwack eggs went for 200 gold a piece while the 2 normal Foxsparks went for 300 a piece and the Alpha Egg went for a whopping 1000 gold.
After it was all sold off I earned myself 8800 gold giving me 13,800 gold in my pocket, having this money I looked at the prices on pals.
It showed a base value of all pals that could be bought with the more common types cheaper with the rarer types more expensive on top of the fact depending on the level the price was exponentially more expensive as well.
"I'm looking for Female Pals in particular, I am a Pal Breeder after all." I said which wasn't a lie that I was in fact a Pal Breeder, just that I did the Breeding myself.
"Of course! I have at least a few male and female pals of each kind available with at least one of each gender per pal and even more so, and plenty of low level pals to sell for cheap at that." He went onto explain as he pulled out another Ledger this time of only Level 1 Pals which he had more of.
"Plenty of people come sell of Pal Eggs since the cost a building Incubators is expensive but luckily I have some I got for myself awhile back letting me sell them for a profit!" He said with a grin as I looked at the prices with a lvl 1 Cattiva going for 500 gold so he is making 5x profit from the Pal I just sold!
While I was irritated, it didn't matter as I looked at the prices and what pals I didn't have before deciding on the ones to buy.
Using up the 13,000 gold I had I bought a Lovander, a Jelliete, a Gloopie, a Flambelle, a Eikthyrdeer and finally a Dazzi as each one ranged from 1500 to 2500 gold each.
'Man Pals are expensive, I think it's a safer bet to just catch my own, but now I got myself even more girls for me base so it's a win in the end.' I thought to myself as I completed the trade.
It's time I went to level up some more and soon enough deal with the first Tower.
