Hinata turns around, gives the man a slight smile, and bows.
Hinata: "Good evening, Ren-senpai."
The boys who were harassing Hanako are completely shocked. They didn't expect this, because Sato Ren was their leader.
Ren: "Did these guys bother you?"
Hinata (laughing): "Do you really think so?"
Ren: "You haven't changed at all. By the way, who is this boy with you?"
Hakuo (bowing): "I am Suzuki Hakuo."
Ren: "I see. Are you two friends?"
Hinata: "Yes."
Ren looks at Hakuo with a suspicious and sharp gaze.
Hinata: "Hakuo, meet Sato Ren-senpai. He is my older brother's best friend."
Hakuo (shocked): "What? You have an older brother too?"
Hinata: "Yes."
Ren: "You're Hinata's friend and you didn't even know she had a brother?"
Hinata: "Let's drop it. I should get going now."
Ren: "No, let me drop you home in my car."
Hinata: "It won't be a problem for you?"
Ren: "Why would it be a problem? And Suzuki, come on, I'll drop you home too."
Hakuo: "My house isn't far from here. I'll walk."
Hinata: "Message me when you reach home. And one more thing... can I have that?"
Hakuo: "What?"
Hinata: "That lychee juice. I'll pay you back for it at school tomorrow."
Hakuo (smiling): "Oh, you want the lychee juice? Sure, why not. Here."
Hinata: "Thank you."
Hanako starts walking toward his house, while Hinata gets into the car with Ren.
Hinata: "When was the last time you spoke to Fuji?"
Ren: "Last night. Why? Is he not picking up your calls?"
Hinata: "Yes."
Ren: "He must be busy with the Import-Export business."
Hinata: "We haven't met in two months. He hasn't called me once, nor has he received my calls. Well, he always does this, so I'm used to it. But if you talk to him, tell him to call me."
Ren: "Do you miss your brother?"
Hinata: "Why would I miss him? I'm used to living without him."
Ren starts laughing at her words.
Hinata: "Will you help me with something?"
Ren: "Sure, tell me."
Hinata: "I need some information about someone."
Ren: "Fuji is the expert at that. Why don't you ask him for help?"
Hinata: "I already asked him. He flatly refused; he won't help me with this."
Ren: "Alright, tell me. I'll help you."
Hinata: "Do you remember the 'Abandoned Factory Incident' from three years ago?"
Ren: "Yes, I remember it very well."
Hinata: "I can't find any information about the people who were there. I've tried everything. And the worst part is that the case was being handled by Mr. Yamamoto Ryoki."
Ren: "That damn Sergeant."
Hinata: "He isn't a Sergeant anymore. He's a Chief Inspector now. You should address him with a bit more respect."
Ren: "I thought you didn't like Yamamoto Ryoki."
Hinata: "I don't like him, but I respect him."
Ren: "Fine, I'll see what I can find out about those people. We've reached your house."
Hinata: "Okay, see you then. Drive safely. Bye."
Ren: "Bye."
Ren drives away. After going a short distance, he pulls over and calls Fuji.
Ren: "Hello, Fuji."
Fuji: "Yeah? What do you want?"
