The Prank War
Jay Jay's POV
If there was one thing everyone in Section loved, it's drama.
actual drama.
Which was why I should have stopped Calix when he said:
"We should prank Section A."
Instead, I smiled.
"Oh, this is going to be entertaining."
Eren grinned. "See? Jay Jay gets it."
"Of course I do," I replied. "If we're going to get in trouble, at least make it interesting."
Edrix laughed. "That's the spirit."
Rory jumped up. "Let's do it!"
Kit nodded. "I'm already thinking of ideas."
Mayo smirked. "This is going to be fun."
Blaster pointed dramatically at the ceiling.
"Operation Prank War begins now."
Josh buried his face in his hands.
"Why am I friends with you people?"
Meanwhile, Kiefer looked unimpressed.
"This is stupid."
Yuri nodded.
"Very stupid."
David sighed.
"And somehow we're still participating."
"Because you're all secretly entertained," I said.
"We're not," Yuri replied.
"You are."
"We're not."
"You are."
Kiefer rolled his eyes.
"Can we focus before Jay Jay starts another argument?"
The next morning, we covered Section A's desks with sticky notes and ridiculous messages.
When they walked into class, we watched from the hallway.
"What happened?" Mica asked.
Grace frowned.
"Who did this?"
"Section E," Aries said immediately.
Freya crossed her arms.
"They're so annoying."
Kiko looked irritated.
"This isn't funny."
Mykle sighed.
"They need hobbies."
Ella shook her head.
"I'm already tired of them."
The second they left, Rory started laughing.
"They hated it!"
"That's because it wasn't funny," Yuri said.
"It was hilarious," Eren argued.
I grinned.
"I have to admit, seeing Aries look ready to throw a chair was pretty funny."
The next day, Section A got revenge.
Every chair in our classroom had been wrapped in tape.
Rory gasped dramatically.
"They've gone too far."
Josh stared at him.
"It's tape."
"It's the principle of the matter."
Calix narrowed his eyes.
"This means war."
I pointed at the chairs.
"I thought this was already war."
"No," Calix replied.
"Now it's personal."
Kiefer sighed.
"You people are exhausting."
David nodded.
"I agree."
Yuri crossed his arms.
"And yet we're stuck here."
For the next few days, the pranks got worse.
We filled their classroom with paper airplanes.
They hid our markers.
We stuck googly eyes on everything they owned.
They moved our desks around.
Every morning became a surprise.
One afternoon, Calix gathered us together.
"We need something bigger."
Rory immediately stood up.
"Say no more."
"I didn't even tell you the plan yet."
"Details are optional."
I laughed.
"That's probably the most Rory thing I've ever heard."
Edrix smirked.
"So what's the plan?"
Calix grinned.
"We fill their classroom with paper stars."
Mayo laughed.
"That's ridiculous."
"Exactly," I said. "Which is why it's perfect."
That afternoon, we spent forever folding stars.
By the end, my fingers hurt.
