And with Rudolf still hyper-focused on her condition, the moment it was time for another examination, Rudolf hurriedly took her to the hospital.
Of course, thanks to Rudolf's connections, they didn't have to suffer in the lobby and wait forever. They went straight in.

After the imaging was done, the two of them headed to the consultation room and waited for the doctor to review the results.
The moment the doctor saw the X-ray on the computer, he visibly perked up. Then, as if refusing to believe his own eyes, he refreshed the page twice, pulled out a lens cloth, and wiped his glasses.
He looked down again at the injuries listed in the medical record from the previous visit, and for a moment genuinely wondered whether he hadn't woken up yet—or whether the film had been mixed up with another patient's.
This horse girl…
Was she even from this planet?
Not even a month. No—half a month.
The injury was gone. Completely. Not even the faintest trace that she'd ever been hurt.
Was that remotely reasonable?
"Excuse me… is something wrong? Is there a problem?"
Rudolf stared at the doctor's frantic clicking through screens, anxiety tightening her voice. She thought Eternal Meteor must not have rested properly and something had gone wrong.
Meanwhile, Eternal Meteor herself was the exact opposite—utterly unconcerned. Curled up against the back of the wheelchair like a squishy mochi ball, she glanced once at the doctor's name tag and then went right back to watching a silly animated clip on her phone, letting out the occasional dumb giggle as the plot progressed.
She had a pretty good grasp of her absurd recovery rate. Coming to the hospital today was basically just a formality—to put Rudolf at ease.
"There's no problem at all," the doctor finally said. "If anything… you healed too fast."
"If I didn't have the medical record, I wouldn't even know this patient was injured in the first place."
Hearing that, Rudolf instinctively turned to look at Eternal Meteor, and something clicked—she finally had a clue why Eternal Meteor never seemed to take injuries seriously.
"So can I take this off now?"
Eternal Meteor lightly swung her leg. She was beyond sick of the brace. If she'd come on her own, she would've ripped it off ages ago.
"Yes," the doctor said. "You can. You're cleared for normal activity."
"Yes!"
The moment she got the green light, Eternal Meteor bent forward and started dismantling it on the spot. With strength as the universal key, it took her less than two minutes to remove the entire brace.
Rudolf watched, shaking her head—but she couldn't stop a small smile from slipping onto her face.
On the way home, Eternal Meteor suddenly remembered Tokai Teio—the one who'd invited her to watch fireworks a few days before winter break. Now that she'd been officially diagnosed as fully recovered, maybe she should invite Teio out again. After all, she'd turned her down last time.
Once the thought appeared, she acted on it.
While waiting at a red light, she pulled out her phone, opened the chat, and started typing.

Tokai Teio: I mean, I'm free, but your leg isn't healed yet, is it?
Meteor Who Crosses History: It's totally healed. Just got checked today.
Tokai Teio: Really? Then… tomorrow?

After sending the first message, Eternal Meteor had been about to put her phone away—but the reply came instantly, and the message showed as read right away, like Teio had been staring at the chat the whole time.
…Probably just a coincidence. Maybe she happened to be messaging someone else.
Eternal Meteor didn't think much of it—never imagining Tokai Teio really had been watching the chat window nonstop.
Tokai Teio lay on her bed, staring at the now-dark screen, still feeling oddly lost. The words Heavy Artillery had said a few days ago kept echoing in her ears:
"Teio—when are you going to confess to Eternal Meteor?"
"I don't kn—Wha—?!"
Teio's face went bright red in an instant, ears shooting straight up. She whirled around to glare at Heavy Artillery, who was lying on the bed reading.
"MAYA—what are you suddenly saying?!"
"But it's true. You talk about her all day, and even these past two nights, you've been saying 'Eternal Meteor' in your sleep. MAYA sometimes I can't even sleep because you're so noisy."
Teio's face went even redder—like a perfectly ripe Fuji apple. She didn't even know why she'd been dreaming about Eternal Meteor so much lately.
Heavy Artillery lifted the book in her hands and angled the cover toward Teio so she could see the title clearly.
"'Common Signs of Being in Love'…? What are you reading every day?!"
"Heh-heh. According to MAYA's research from this book… young lady, you are—without a doubt—in love!"
Like Conan pointing at the true culprit, Heavy Artillery extended a finger straight at the still-denying Tokai Teio.
