Lisa stopped in the middle of the courtyard, with her ears turned forward and her middle tail frozen in the air, and Lohan felt, through Mental Perception, that she was just as confused as he was.
'This isn't fear,' he thought. 'This is... excitement.'
"President!" someone shouted, and half the courtyard turned at the same time.
There was a moment of silence, and then the courtyard exploded.
"The president is back!"
"Look how big she is!"
"She has three tails! Three!"
"She evolved! The president evolved!"
The Players began to move closer, forming a semicircle around her, and Lohan saw, with a mix of amusement and secondhand embarrassment, Lisa's expression change from confusion to a surprised pride.
She raised her chin, swished all three tails at once, and did a slow turn in place, showing off her new body, bigger and stronger, her white fur shining under the morning sun.
