Dylan groaned.
He'd been caught unaware, and even before he reacted, he'd been taken out.
He looked at the death recap, amazed at how fast he had died.
1.89 seconds
That's was how long it took him to die, that was how long he needed to react.
But even if he did, their wasn't any time to.
She had hit him with her Gauss Q in camouflage, hit and auto before he could move, hit her E grappling hook to dash away out of his range before he could press his Q, hit him again, killing his Mary.
He respawned, his situation getting worse. His creep score and experience levels had fallen drastically behind after that death.
Currently, the Bageer was now at level 5, 2 levels higher than he was. Worst still, she was higher in gold than him.
When he looked at her items, it seemed she had gone to base to buy a sword component for attack damage and a chain sword for critical chance.
He on the other hand could only afford a Hemoblade for life steal.
'This chick is quite skilled, but she's also lucky'
He looked at his screen as he controlled his immortal, slowly waiting for the wave to push to him. He would lose minions, meaning he'd lose gold and XP. But that didn't matter to him. He'd play his go to strategy when he was behind in lane.
Turtle farming.
He'd wait under tower for the minions to come into range and try to last-hit them. It was a risky play as the defensive towers could end up killing them and taking th gold away. But now l, it didn't matter.
Mary walked behind her tower, staying out of range of Bageer's poke reach. When the wave had crashed he began to farm slowly.
The Bageer stop in his sights, but by his calculations...
"I'm out of her Q range, she can't poke me out."
Level up
Mary Shiloh level 4
The Mary slowly began to catch up. The Bageer farming slowly, only going for minion last hits once a while.
Dylan couldn't help but admire his opponents farming play style. She was very patient, not making unnecessary trades and instead, going for the minions that were about to die.
But what Dylan didn't know, was that he was on a timer.
Level Up
Bageer Level 6
Bageer has gotten first Core level on Helion Core.
Stats Increased.
Crea saw this and knew what was to come. It was time to begin the slaughter.
Ultimate [Gulag-088]: (Passive) if you have the Helion Core, upgrade the stats of the Gulag by 10% more every time the Helion levels up. (Active) Summon to an area the Gulag-088 Mech Suit, doing damage to all enemies in the area of its landing. You can ride it for the duration of it's life span or for 2 minutes, by which it would stop functioning and self destruct. The Mecha's primary weapon would be based on what weapon you hold.
[Gauss]=[Gauss Lance 1000]
[Legalus]=[Crimson Legalus]
[Clint and Claude]=[Clinton and Claudius]
[Destroyer]=[Annihilator D]
All Skills are upgraded and your Maximus health, Defense, Magic Resistance and Attack Damage are increased massively.
You can detonate the mecha early to do bonus damage based on Opponents missing health.
Crea chuckled, thinking of what she was going to do next to her opponent.
She typed on her Text-to-speech ai voice over and said.
"Hey guys, I'm about to one shot this noob. Worst yet, you wants to bet that I won't take any tower damage?"
The chat went ballistic.
-cap, stop the cap
-no way, that's just plain disrespectful.
-oh no, he's gonna do it again.
-rip bozo, kid doesn't know what's gonna hit him.
- I bet 50 gift coins if you pull it off.
-me too, ain't now way.
When Crea read the last of the comments, she got fired up even more. 50 gift coins we're about 250 pounds. That was enough to take care of herself for the week.
She put her hand on her neck and twisted it, garnering cracking noises.
This combo was something that most pro players used in order to take out the enemy if he or she was behind. She wasn't a pro, maybe not even close, but at least she was confident that she would hit this.
She moved her mouse with a flick of her wrist, aiming her ultimate ability right on Mary's head.
Then, she used her Q ability to tag the Mary for damage.
-457 HP Crit...
Mary retaliated, looking to walk into her Q range and make a skill trade. But just as she did, the Bageer went into camouflage, making him lose his target.
Suddenly an alarm buzzed over him. He noticed a giant circle around his tower.
She's not going to...
Soon a giant humanoid robot seemed to fall from the sky. Whilst he was distracted, another auto attack came through.
-234 HP
Currently, he had 1320 Hit points, losing about half of it in that exchange alone. Worse still....
'She didn't take tower aggro?'
But that was when things got worse. An alarm blarred again, like the warning horn in a factory. That moment of distraction and distress was enough for him to miss that the Gulag-088 has right upon his head.
He pressed his W ability to take reduced damage from the Mech crash.
-183 HP (physical) -102 HP (magic)
Mary then began to use her Q ability and her Hemoblade to life steal and heal most of the damage. He was down to 344 hit points, but with the life steal and Q healing, he regained 200 HP back.
And she had parked the Mech in his tower. There was no way she would kill him under tower... Right?
Bageer used her grappling hook, attaching it to the Gulag as she drew herself to it. Right in mid animation, she activated her Q...
-234 HP.
Mary was left with 310 HP, a level that was drastically low. But that didn't matter to him. Now that she had entered his tower range, the damage she would receive would be greater than his own. Best part, he had enough life steal and his W damage reduction and E dashes to outplay this, whilst she had used her grappling hook E, her only escape tool to engage him.
"Got ya E-girl"
Or sle he thought.
He didn't factor in one thing.
Bageer's character suddenly becoming immune to all forms of damage.
She had Just mounted the Gulag, a process that made her immune do damage and CC for a few seconds.
'Holy shit' he groaned... He felt that his voice was so loud, it echoes in the room he was in. He wanted to apologize to Rex, but couldn't break his gaze of his screen.
'what the Fuck she doing?' he groaned.
The mecha initiated it's first movement, and since a minion wave was under tower, taking the aggro that Bageer had reset, her mecha didn't take damage either.
Dylan soon noticed why she had done all this...
Bageer had initiated the self-destruction sequence of her mech.
"She's bat shit crazy!" He roared, not caring about his room mate. Currently, he had 3 swords on the ground, one behind him. This was his only ticked to escape.
At least, the Mech couldn't move when it was to self destruct.
Whirrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!!
The Machine hummed as it pushed itself to self Destruction. Dylan had dashed Mary backwards to evade the damage, but to Crea, that was a bad mistake.
'If he had gone forwards, he would be able to sustain somewhat on my wave' she thought.
Yes, many players knew that regular movement wasn't possible with Gulag once self destruct was initiated.
That is, if you didn't input the movement before activation of the mecha self destruct.
The Mecha use the exact same upgrades that the regular Bageer used. Including the grappling hook.
Just as she was to activate the self destruct, she activated the Mecha's grapplers, aiming them to where he had placed his last sword. She hoped that he would try to dodge back with the sword behind him. If he moved forward, she would miss entirely.
And for noobs, retreating backwards was always the trend for them.
When the Mary dash back, the grapplers animation popped off, hooking the wall just where Mary stood.
Dylan froze when he saw this. He saw the about to explode mech fly towarde him like a meteor, blazing in all its glory. The Bageer had activated the Mecha's ejection, blasting off to safety, becoming untargetable at that moment.
The mech Clashed into her, doing damage and stunning her.
Then
BOOM!!!
-52 HP (CC: stunned 0.5 secs)
-847 HP Raw Damage
You Have been Slain
Dylan's eyes were wide open as he was put in a death screen. Now he began to ask himself questions.
'Since when could Bageer do that?'
'is it me or am I just bad at the game?'
'Am I losing to a girl?'.
Almost in the midst of his thoughts, he felt a presence standing just right behind him.
He turned to see his friend Rex standing behind the screen, his phone in his hand and his mouth open wide.
He was in a state of shock, just like Dylan.
"I'ma surprised too. That .... Girl, she's quite a monster"
Rex blinked, coming out of his reverie.
"No shit Sherlock. You do know you're currently up against an Immortal Ranked Player right?"
Dylan blinked, shocked by the revelation more than skill she had shown.
To show this, Rex gave him his phone. On it, a stream was going on. And the opponent he was up against was the girl streaming.
His face turned fiery red as she blurted in embarrassment.
"You're kidding me Right?"
