Chapter 20 - The World Knows

The World Knows

The press room was electric. Cameras flashed, reporters whispered into microphones, and the air smelled of anticipation.

The sign behind the podium read:

LUXEN & ARISTELLE: A New Era in Skincare and Fashion

Lucien Reed stepped onto the stage, dressed sharply, every movement exuding effortless control. The room erupted into murmurs. No one expected him to appear—not like this, not publicly, not as the CEO of two global companies.

He paused, surveying the sea of journalists, influencers, and industry leaders. Then, without hesitation, he raised his hand for silence.

"Thank you all for being here today," he said, voice calm but commanding. "You've heard of LUXEN. You've heard of ARISTELLE. But what you don't know…" He let the pause linger. "…is who made this all possible."

All eyes shifted. Cameras zoomed. Whispers surged.

"Serena Blake," he continued, smiling softly, "has been my inspiration. My muse. The reason LUXEN's products exist. The reason ARISTELLE was created. Her elegance, her grace, her strength—I wanted the world to see it. To feel it. To touch it. She has guided every design, every formula, every idea."

The audience gasped. Serena, sitting in the front row with Celeste, Evie bouncing excitedly beside her, Damien, Richard, and Margret, froze.

Lucien walked closer, gesturing toward her. "And today, I am proud to announce…" He paused dramatically, camera flashes blinding. "…that Serena Blake is the official ambassador of LUXEN and ARISTELLE."

The room exploded. Reporters shouted, cameras clicked, and a hundred phones began livestreaming the moment worldwide.

Lucien's eyes softened as he looked at Serena. "Serena is not just my fiancée," he said, voice deepening, "she is the reason for everything I do. And every company that wants to work with her… will understand she is my world first, and their muse second."

The Aftermath

By the end of the press conference:

Serena had received official ambassador status for LUXEN and ARISTELLE.

Multiple high-end fashion brands had contacted her personally for modelling contracts, from Paris couture houses to New York elite labels.

Social media exploded: CampusNet, Instagram, Twitter, and fashion blogs couldn't stop talking about Serena Blake—the girl behind the empire's inspiration.

Every news outlet highlighted Lucien's first public acknowledgment of his companies, his genius, and his fiancée.

CampusNet blew up instantly:

Even Cassandra's followers whispered in disbelief. The girl who tried to outshine Serena at every turn now seemed like a footnote in a narrative written by Lucien and Serena together.

Private Moment Amid Chaos

Backstage, away from the cameras, Serena leaned on Lucien. "I… I can't believe this," she said, voice soft, eyes shining.

"You've earned every bit of it," he said, hand resting lightly on her shoulder. "And the world needed to know who you really are. Not just a model, not just a student, not just the 'Ice Queen' everyone whispers about."

Serena smiled, heart full. "So… I'm officially your muse, huh?"

He chuckled, pulling her close. "More than that. You're my fiancée. My inspiration. My world."

She laughed softly, shaking her head. "You're dramatic."

"And you love it," he whispered, brushing a thumb across her cheek.

The media frenzy continued for hours, then days. The world had seen Lucien Reed—the mysterious CEO, billionaire heir, and mastermind behind the hottest skincare and fashion empire—and his fiancée Serena Blake, the inspiration, the muse, the undisputed star.

Every industry insider, fashion house, and luxury brand now wanted Serena Blake, and every admirer knew one undeniable fact: she belonged to Lucien Reed.

And Lucien? He stood quietly beside her, smirking, perfectly satisfied, possessive, and completely in love.
