The next morning, Shiya came out of her room only after Noel had gone to the office. Then she decided to enjoy her life in her own way.
She wore a cute pink top, navy blue jeans, and white sneakers. She dressed like an unmarried girl, simple and lively. Then she went out to explore the city. She enjoyed street foods, ice cream, cakes, and pastries while taking pictures of beautiful places.
Actually, Shiya was a blogger and a freelancer. At night, she worked as a freelancer, and during the day, she visited different places and wrote blogs about them.
While she was walking by the roadside, she saw a poor child staring at food in a shop. She went to him and gently asked why he was only looking and not buying anything. The boy said he had five younger brothers and sisters. They hadn't eaten for three days and were starving.
Shiya's heart sank. She bought him food and went with him to his home.
Shiya had another dream too — she wanted to stay single and help needy people.
When she reached the boy's house, she saw it was very old and broken. Inside were his younger siblings.
She asked where their parents were. The boy replied that their parents had died in an accident. That house was all they had. They had no relatives and were living on their own.
He introduced his siblings to her. His name was Aian, and he was 10 years old. His second sister, Sami, was 8. There were twins, Siyan and Siyam, both 5 years old. Sony was 4 years old. And the youngest, little Dori, was only 9 months old.
Shiya felt deep pain for them. She told Aian she would visit every day and bring them food. She gave him some money for emergencies.
From that day on, Shiya cooked for the children every morning and delivered the food. Then she went out to visit places and work on her blog. In the afternoon, she bought more food and spent time with the children. In the evening, she returned home.
In truth, Shiya's stepmother never loved her, and her father was greedy. So she understood very well how painful life without parents could be. She even started teaching Aian how to read and write.
She often returned home late.
One day, she was happily spending time with the children and didn't realize how late it had become. When she returned home and entered the apartment, she saw Noel had already come back.
Noel asked coldly, "Where were you at this hour?"
Shiya replied calmly, "That's not your concern."
Noel's eyes darkened. "What did you say?"
Shiya grew nervous but said softly, "You said we wouldn't interfere in each other's lives."
Noel paused. He remembered his own words. Then he warned her, "Don't create any trouble."
