Scene 1 — The Truth Comes Out
Suho stood in front of YN's house, his chest tight with unease.
He rang the bell.
The door opened.
YN's mother stood there, calm and gentle.
YN's Mom:
"Yes?"
Suho forced a polite smile.
Suho:
"Aunty… I'm YN's friend. Is she here? Can I meet her?"
There was a brief pause.
YN's mother studied him carefully.
Then sighed softly.
YN's Mom:
"Since you're her friend… I'll tell you something."
Suho's heart tightened.
Suho:
"What is it?"
YN's Mom:
"YN got married two months ago."
The world stopped.
Suho froze completely.
Suho:
"…Married?"
YN's Mom:
"Yes."
His voice came out shaky.
Suho:
"T-to whom…?"
A painful thought crossed his mind.
Suho (thinking):
Don't tell me…
YN's Mom smiled softly.
YN's Mom:
"Kim Taehyung."
That name hit like a bullet.
Suho's breath stopped.
His hands trembled.
Suho (forcing a smile):
"…Can you give me their address?"
A long pause.
Then—
She gave it.
Suho nodded slowly.
Suho:
"Thank you… I won't tell anyone."
But inside—
Something had broken.
Scene 2 — Taehyung & YN at Home
Back at the house—
Taehyung stretched lazily.
Taehyung:
"What do you want for dinner?"
YN looked up from her phone.
YN:
"Let's order."
Taehyung raised an eyebrow.
Taehyung:
"We just ate."
YN:
"So?"
Taehyung sighed.
Taehyung:
"Fine."
He smiled slightly.
Taehyung:
"Order whatever you like."
A doorbell rang.
Taehyung stood up.
Taehyung:
"I'll get it."
He opened the door.
And froze.
Taehyung:
"…Mom?"
His mother sat in a wheelchair.
YN walked over nervously.
YN:
"Hello, Mom…"
Scene 3 — Two Conversations (Parallel Pain)
Inside the room—
YN and Taehyung's mother sat together.
Meanwhile outside—
Suho stood at the house door.
His hands clenched.
His chest burned.
Suho (thinking):
She's here… with him…
Scene 4 — Inside the Room
Taehyung's mother gently touched his cheek.
Mom:
"Are you happy?"
Taehyung:
"…Mom…"
Mom:
"Answer me."
A long pause.
Taehyung finally spoke.
Taehyung:
"She loves someone else."
His voice was quiet.
But heavy.
Taehyung:
"She was forced… just like me."
Mom's eyes widened.
Taehyung continued.
Taehyung:
"I'll fulfill your wish."
A pause.
Taehyung:
"I won't leave her for six months."
His voice softened.
Taehyung:
"But after that… I'll let her go."
Mom's eyes filled with emotion.
Mom:
"You have a pure heart, my son."
Taehyung gave a small, tired smile.
Scene 5 — Outside the Door
Suho and YN stood silently.
Listening.
Their hearts tightened.
They understood everything now.
Scene 6 — The Breaking Point
The door opened.
Taehyung's mother left.
And suddenly—
Suho walked in.
His face was unreadable.
Then—
BAM.
A punch landed on Taehyung.
Taehyung staggered slightly.
Taehyung:
"…What the—"
Suho grabbed him tightly.
And broke down.
Suho:
"He needed me…"
His voice shook.
Suho:
"I wasn't there…"
Tears streamed down his face.
Suho:
"It's my fault… that day he called me but... I was with my girlfriend so I didnt pick up his call but later I got to know.... He committed suicide and then I blamed my girlfriend but later she got into an accident and died too... "
Taehyung's expression softened.
He hugged him back.
Taehyung:
"You idiot…"
Taehyung:
"Don't blame yourself."
Suho:
"But I should have been there!"
Taehyung:
"You can't change the past."
Silence.
Then—
Suho spoke again.
Suho:
"Why didn't you tell me?"
Taehyung exhaled.
Taehyung:
"I didn't choose this."
Taehyung:
"My mom… needed me."
Taehyung:
"I couldn't say no."
Suho:
"…You really love her."
Taehyung nodded.
Taehyung:
"She's my whole world."Scene 7 — The Friend Returns
Suho wiped his tears.
Suho:
"You'll divorce her after six months."
Taehyung raised his hands.
Taehyung:
"Relax. I will."
A pause.
Taehyung:
"You can have her."
Suho:
"…What?"
Taehyung:
"You love her."
A small, painful smile.
Taehyung:
"I'm not going to fight for something I can't have."
They shook hands.
Scene 8 — Dinner
Dinner was quiet but peaceful.
Suho stood up.
He walked to YN.
And gently kissed her forehead.
Suho:
"Take care."
Taehyung watched silently.
A flicker of pain crossed his eyes.
But he said nothing.
Scene 9 — Night (Hidden Emotions)
YN looked at Taehyung.
YN:
"You can sleep on the bed."
Taehyung:
"…Are you sure?"
YN nodded.
YN:
"Let's share."
They lay down.
A small distance between them.
Taehyung turned toward her slightly.
Taehyung:
"You take too much space."
YN:
"No, you do."
A small smile.
Then—
Silence.
But neither slept immediately.
Taehyung (thinking):
She's so close…
Taehyung:
But not mine.
YN (thinking):
Why does my heart feel… confused?
Final Scene — Taehyung Alone
Later that night—
Taehyung stood alone near the window.
Looking at the city lights.
His reflection looked tired.
Broken.
Taehyung (thinking):
She's with him…
Taehyung:
And that's how it should be.
A pause.
Taehyung:
"But why does it hurt?"
He closed his eyes.
Taehyung:
"Why does it feel like I'm losing something…"
A quiet whisper.
Taehyung:
"…that was never mine?"
The night stayed silent.
And so did his heart.
