We open on a clear sky over a bustling city that consisted of many tall concrete and brick buildings. The scene slowly pans down to the level of the fourth floor of the buildings. "Swooosh!", the air suddenly made a noise due to something rushing up against it. "Thwip!" A rope-like material stretched and clung to the side of one of the buildings. The 'rope' tightened as a figure came into view holding the end of it. The figure swung and stuck out both of its legs. The figure was slightly blurred due to its speed but the noticeable traits were that it was mainly navy blue and black with a few teal streaks.
"Thud!"
The feet of the figure crashed into the body of a large half-octopus half-man… or maybe woman? It was too mangled to tell. The monster that was wrapped and gripping the apartment complex slammed into the wall. It easily toppled onto the concrete road. The figure that slammed into it was now in clear view as it dangled from a street light just across the road.
"Let me guess, another researcher gone rogue?" The figure asked, in a monotone voice, as the monster growled and glared. The figure now clearly visible, due to it staying still as it dangled, was a man dressed in a form-fitting one-piece costume. The costume was mostly navy blue fitting his serious tone. The chest and shoulders were black. There was a lively, glowing teal spider logo on his chest that seemed to pulsate. The costume also had a hood that was currently hanging loosely as he dangled upside down.
The octopus monster, which was later lovingly named Doc Ock after it was transformed back into a human and imprisoned, went to attack the dangling man. In response, the man calmly jumped towards the creature with a kick.
…
Hours after the battle that was easily won, the figure was swinging around the city but then stopped on the ledge of one of the city's tallest buildings. He took in the breathtaking view as the sun began to set. Turning the sky from its memorable blue to an orange hue.

Hello, my name is Cain Cullen, and for as long as I've known I was the one and only spider-powered person.
My superhero origin begins in a lab at the world-famous Alchemax Compound in New Oxford. The research facility just so happened to be having a visit from a local high school. One student was a relatively nerdy teen with golden brown hair. He wore round glasses that seemed to be there as a status symbol rather than for their actual purpose. This student was happily chatting with his childhood friend, MJ, whose full name was Mary Jane Watson.
The students were shown around the laboratory and research facility. One test subject escaped from containment and got free, it was a radioactive spider. As the scientists covertly tried to find and recapture it it had already reached the students without them noticing. It descended from the ceiling onto the hand of the nerdy student and bit him.
The student felt the bite and winced while flicking the spider away, killing it in the process.
"Peter! Are you ok?!"
MJ shouted to her friend who was grabbing his hand like he had been shot. "Yeah…*huff* I'm alright…" the student, now known as Peter said through haggard breath as sweat dripped from his face. His face was a little red as though he had a fever. He quickly collapsed and fell into an unconscious state.
…
The researchers, wanting to scavenge for what little remained of their attempts to replicate Lieutenant Liberty's super soldier serum, recovered the remains of the spider as quickly as possible. Due to the spider being irradiated its DNA was quickly breaking down after leaving containment. They extracted any and all DNA they could get from its corpse.
They quickly began incubating a new version of the spider based on the DNA they gathered in a test tube. They only had enough genetic material to create one. Over one week of incubation, the researchers realised something strange, the new version of the spider seemed to be a human foetus. This puzzled the researchers but they couldn't run tests on an organism that couldn't sustain its own life outside of the test tube without possibly wasting it.
The extreme deviation from the original spider was due to Peter Parker being bitten. Some of Peter's blood was taken during the bite and when the spider was collected it was all put together to make a new test subject due to the rush.
After seven weeks the organism now had the appearance of a young male toddler. The rapid growth was due to the breathable liquid of the test tube patented by Alchemax as the "Organism Maturing Accelerant as a Liquid" or "solution O.M.A.L" for short. The researchers determined it safe for testing through an ultrasound procedure to make sure it has the necessary components that grant the ability to live outside the test tube.
They took it out of the test tube and conducted simple diagnostic tests to guarantee that it is in a healthy condition and won't just die of something like organ failure.
After the simple tests, they extracted some blood, less than 50 ml to start, in hopes of testing for the original spider's DNA. When they tried studying it they quickly learned that the DNA quickly started degenerating and becoming unusable and unreadable.
This test subject was the last remaining organism that could carry out its research so they had to keep and study it, and maybe find a way to use its DNA to fulfill the original purpose of their study.

After five years, many researchers quit and only three remained. Each researcher worked on an aspect of the subject. One of the male researchers focused on the physical aspects, which means he studied the physical limitations of it. Another male researcher chose to focus on the biochemical composition and supernatural abilities that were granted to the organism. And the final researcher who was female focused on the neurological and psychological aspects.
The organism was now chronologically five years old and looked like a boy just a little older. The organism was code-named "Toxin" due to its primary abilities. Due to it mostly being composed of the radioactive spider's DNA it had numerous mutations that aligned with an arachnid's abilities and a few more that were more related due to the radiation, as assumed by the researchers.
The female researcher who studied the subject's mind grew an attachment to the boy. This researcher's name was Caitlyn Cullen. She slowly developed more maternal feelings due to having basically raised the boy. While the experiments that were conducted were very humane and safe for Toxin it was still morally unjustifiable to keep the child locked away.
Due to her conviction and morality, she proposed having Toxin be allowed to leave the facility under supervision. This proposal was swiftly denied as Toxin was still very much a hazardous element and required much more investigation and testing. Caitlyn who had studied and observed the child's mind believed that the child should be able to have freedom.
Caitlyn seeing no other way helped Toxin escape the facility. Toxin, who had very little understanding of his situation, had escaped.
For the first time in his life saw the blue sky as he was led by hand by Caitlyn. He was enamoured with its colour as well as the many buildings that he could see as he walked. He wore a very simple white top and a pair of black shorts. He had no shoes but he didn't need them, his feet didn't hurt and they would heal instantly if they were ever damaged. The concrete did make his feet a little uncomfortable though.
He was finally experiencing the world… and he didn't know how to feel or what to do. He was a little scared, very confused but deep down he felt an unbearable level of excitement. He began to smile widely like a child who had just gotten a new toy. For the first time, he was able to be himself. It was the very same day he got his name from the one who saved him and the one who became his mother. From that day on that boy was no longer Toxin, the research subject, but instead Cain Cullen, a boy with a bright yet tragic future…
…
During these years there was also someone else whose life had changed.
Peter Parker was the boy who was bitten by the radioactive spider. Rather than becoming Spider-Man like his counterparts he got cancer. After being bitten he was diagnosed with a quickly developing cancer originating from his hand, the same hand he was bitten.
Due to not being able to find a suitable treatment that would delay or treat the cancer directly that was affordable the doctors that treated him had to amputate his arm.
After the surgery, Peter was never the same. He was still the kind-hearted genius he was but now he had driven people away and delved into academics for an unknown reason.
He quickly graduated from high school that year as a valedictorian. He applied to a top university in the field of neuroscience as well as genetics while he also personally researched and developed machines and equipment.
After four years he graduated from university with a master's in neuroscience and a familiarity with genetics research. During his time at university, he had an internship at Alchemax, the very same company that caused his arm to be amputated. At the time of the incident, he did sue and got a noteworthy amount.
Instead of going on to work at another company he chose to create his own using what was left of his money to fund it. His company created a few revolutionary pieces of technology, one example being a neural transmitter that would allow people to utilise certain compatible technologies through thought. This was made solely for medical products like bionic limbs. It was never openly developed into or for commercial use.
He became a renowned and successful businessman and scientist. His technology and research have made him the target of many unsuccessful crimes. Not much was known publicly about his social life but it is rumoured that he is in a relationship and has kids. It could be said that Peter had to overcome great tragedy for his happiness, he used his struggles as motivation for making himself better and making the world a better place also.

But let's not forget, this is the story of the Spider-Man of Earth-3289, and his story has only just begun.

-obviously the super soldier project and the spider project were secret.
-It is quick paced because I didn't know how to slow it down, may rewrite in future.
