His Profile Status had visibly changed compared to a few moments ago.
Not only that, aside from the change in the numbers in his attributes, there were also some changes in the skill, Magic Bullet.
[ Magic Bullet ]
[ Grade: C ]
[ Effect: Shoot a bullet made of mana dealing high magic damage toward a target. ]
[ Mastery: Beginner (90%) ]
[ Note: Practice the skill and increase Mastery to use it better and increase damage output. ]
He remembered that upon entering the dungeon earlier, the Mastery of the skill was only around 10%.
After the battle with the goblins, it unknowingly rose to 90%.
According to the experts, Skill Proficiency can be raised through repeated practice. However, compared to practicing it on dummies, using it in real battle seems to increase the proficiency faster.
Now, he was only 10% away from increasing the Mastery from Beginner to Intermediate.
Once his proficiency with it increases, the skill will also receive even more enhancements.
Its power would be greater, his accuracy would see a significant boost, and not to mention, the casting speed. He doesn't know what other aspects of the skill would be enhanced as well. But he would definitely welcome any form of enhancement.
There were no other changes aside from that, so Desther closed the interface and focused on running forward.
While running, Desther definitely noticed the increase of his speed. His normal pace now was at least as fast as his previous sprint. His stamina drastically improved as well.
Almost ten minutes of running, and he was not even breaking a sweat, nor was he panting with such speed. Previously, he would also not tire that much, but he was definitely not as relaxed as he was now.
Increasing attribute points was indeed the ultimate goal.
And with his Ultimate Thief talent constantly providing him attribute points, Desther realized that his attribute points might increase in levels he would not even dare imagine before.
Just a few moments later, Desther finally saw Lexie and the others.
Whether it was due to her talent or just having good perception, Lexie was the first to notice him. The two then simultaneously followed her gaze and were surprised to see that it was actually Desther.
Elena heaved a sigh of relief, while Noah just nodded at him with a smile.
The journey and the hunt only took him less than forty minutes. Most of his time was even spent running back and forth, while the battle only took around six minutes at most, including the initial scouting.
The three did not know of him achieving such a feat, and he does not plan on revealing it either.
On the other hand, Lexie just looked at him as if he were a monster.
She already knew that Desther was strong, but she never expected that he was this kind of strong.
Forty minutes might sound long, but she knew well enough the distance between the two points. Not to mention the battle that would surely not end swiftly due to the numbers of enemies.
Unless, of course, the other party was so strong that the enemy could not even fight back and would just be akin to chickens on a chopping block.
And for Desther to return in this short amount of time, she knew full well what it signified.
"How was it? Did you see the goblin scout following us?" She asked.
Desther only took a moment to realize what she was implying.
Shaking his head, Desther replied, "No. I think we're safe."
Hearing that, Lexie nodded her head while Elena and Noah visibly relaxed.
All the way here, they had been in constant stress and tension due to the goblin settlement they discovered.
If the scout had followed them, at least fifteen goblins would surely pursue and try to hunt them down.
"Let Desther rest for a bit before we continue forward. Estimating our current location, we should only be around twenty minutes away from the Exit Portal," Lexie added.
However, hearing that, Desther shook his head once more.
"No need. I'm not that tired. Let's continue and exit this dungeon as soon as possible."
Worried that he might get caught, he wanted to leave the dungeon to avoid unnecessary troubles.
Seeing that he was already resolute with the decision, Lexie did not object and simply nodded her head in understanding.
The other two did not object either. The two of them wanted to be near the Exit Portal as well.
Having decided their next course of action, the group immediately moved toward their destination.
The exit portal was getting closer; the four of them could sense it clearly.
They did not see any more goblin droppings and tracks the closer they got to the exit portal.
Desther and the others did not think too much about it, though, as this was considered normal.
Awakened Professionals would surely be more active near the Exit Portal, especially for a regulated dungeon like this one.
The closer they were to the Exit Portal, the higher the chance of them encountering their classmates as well.
And speaking of it, ahead of them, with his enhanced perception and attributes, Desther immediately noticed the presence of some people.
Since they were the only people here, Desther immediately assumed that they were one of his classmates.
What he was confused about, though, was why they were hiding behind a huge tree suspiciously.
Desther deliberately slowed down his pace.
Even though she was leading in front, Lexie was still the first one to notice the change. Knowing Desther, she immediately realized that there might be something wrong.
She deliberately slowed down as well, while Elena and Noah followed suit in confusion.
However, it was already too late.
The next moment, five humans suddenly revealed themselves behind the tree.
