Synopsis
"You smell like milk... and my scent." Damon Storm, the ruthless Alpha King, pinned her against the wall, his eyes burning gold. "Where have you been hiding my pups?" Lyra smirked, coldly pressing a hidden Glock against his ribs. "You have the wrong person, Alpha." Before he could growl, a red laser dot settled right between his eyes. A five-year-old boy stood in the doorway, holding a custom-made plasma pistol. His eyes flashed the same gold as Damon's. "Step away from my mommy, old man," the boy warned with a smirk. "Or I'll show you why they call her the Shadow Lord." Six years ago, she was the rejected, pregnant exile. Now, she returns as the world's most feared arms dealer. Her plan was simple: get the cure for her father and leave. But she didn't count on one thing—her three genius triplets hacking into the Alpha King's security system... just to order pizza.

Chapter 1 - The Forbidden Night

Lyra's POV

Six Years Ago. The Forbidden Grounds.

Pain. Liquid fire in her veins.

Lyra stumbled into the darkness. Vision blurring. The "Degeneration Serum"—stepmother's parting gift—was doing its work. Supposed to strip her of her wolf. Turn her into a fragile human. Something to be sold.

But it didn't fade. Her wolf screamed. Clawed at the walls of her mind.

Hide.

The heavy iron door groaned as she pushed it open. Cold air rushed out. Smelled of damp earth. Old blood. And something else... something wild. Masculine.

A growl vibrated through the stone floor. Not human. Tectonic plates shifting.

Lyra froze.

In the center of the cavernous room. Chained by thick Vibranium shackles. A monster.

He was huge. Seven feet of pure muscle. Skin burning with fever. Veins pulsing black under the strain. Half-shifted. Claws the length of daggers scraped against the stone. But it was his eyes.

Crimson. Bleeding, insane crimson.

An Alpha in Feral State. Level 5. The kind that tore entire cities apart.

Run. Her instincts screamed.

Mate. Her wolf whispered. Traitor.

The monster lunged. Chains snapped taut. Groaning. He roared—a sound that broke teeth in the far corners of the room. He wanted blood. Wanted to tear something apart to stop the agony inside him.

Lyra didn't run. The serum made her legs lead. She collapsed forward. Right into his reach.

His hand—more claw than hand—snapped around her throat.

She didn't struggle. Couldn't. The contact wasn't electricity. It was fire. Skin burned.

"Mine." The word was a guttural snarl. Torn from a destroyed throat.

Lyra looked up into the madness. Should be terrified. Should be begging. But the fever in her blood met the fire in his.

She reached up. Her small, pale hand touched his burning cheek.

The monster froze. The crimson in his eyes flickered. A sliver of golden amber underneath.

"You're loud," Lyra whispered. Voice delirious. She patted his face. Like a misbehaving pet. "Be quiet, big dog."

The Alpha King. The most feared predator in the northern hemisphere. Trembled. The rage that had been consuming him for days hit a wall. Absolute, icy calm radiating from this small intruder.

He dropped to his knees. Pulled her into his chest. Buried his face in her neck. Inhaled. The scent of rain and mountain flowers broke through his madness. The only antidote.

"Mine," he growled again. Not rage. Need.

"Good boy," Lyra murmured. Consciousness fading. Her fingers tangled in the heavy Vibranium collar. "Now sleep."

And for the first time in a week, the monster closed his eyes.

Present Day. Obsidian City International Airport.

"Mommy, that man has a gun."

Lyra adjusted her sunglasses. Didn't look where her son pointed. "Aries, do not point at the SWAT team. Rude."

"He's trembling," Aries noted. Bored. At five years old, he had the face of an angel and the tactical assessment skills of a seasoned hitman. "His safety is off. Amateur."

"Stop analyzing the police." Lyra sighed. Pushed the luggage cart. Heavy. Twelve crates of "precision medical equipment" that were, in reality, disassembled high-velocity sniper rifles. And enough C4 to level a city block.

Obsidian City. The heart of the werewolf world. A jungle of steel and glass where strength was law. Money was oxygen.

She had sworn never to return. But the "Dragon's Blood"—the only cure for her father's condition—was here. And so was he.

"Mommy." Leo, the eldest by two minutes. Tugged her sleeve. Typing on a tablet that didn't exist. Fingers moving in the air. "The airport security grid is... quaint. I rerouted the thermal scanners to the coffee machine in the break room. We're green."

"Good job, Leo."

"And I," Cyra, the youngest, announced proudly. Clutched a headless doll. "Stole a lollipop from that baby."

Lyra paused. "Cyra, we talked about this. We don't steal candy. We steal information, weapons, and occasionally encrypted hard drives. Give it back."

"But he was crying! Annoying!"

"Give. It. Back."

Before Cyra could protest, a siren wailed. Red lights flashed across the terminal.

BEEP. BEEP. BEEP. BIOLOGICAL THREAT DETECTED.

The SWAT team converged. Rifles raised.

"Freeze!"

Lyra sighed. Raised her hands slowly. "It's just formula milk, officers. I promise."

The captain of the guard. A burly Beta wolf. Stepped forward. His K-9 unit—a genetically enhanced German Shepherd capable of sniffing out a drop of Alpha blood from a mile away—was going berserk.

The dog wasn't barking at Lyra. It was barking at the vintage Hello Kitty suitcase Aries was dragging.

Inside that suitcase wasn't clothes. It was the Vibranium Collar. Aries used it as a teething toy. It still carried the scent of him. The King.

"Open the bag," the captain ordered. Sweat beading on his forehead. The dog was whining now. Tail tucked. Terrified.

Lyra calculated. Three kids. Twelve crates. Fifty guards. She could take them. But it would be messy.

"Officer." Voice trembling perfectly. The 'weak single mother' mask slid into place. "It's just toys. My son... he has sensitive skin. Special fabrics."

"Open. It."

The guard reached for the zipper.

Aries narrowed his eyes. Pupils, usually a soft brown, flashed gold. A low, sub-sonic growl vibrated in his chest.

It wasn't a sound. It was a pressure wave.

KNEEL.

The K-9 yelped. Wet itself. Dragged its handler backward across the polished floor. Scrambling to get away from the five-year-old boy.

The guards flinched. Stepped back. Confusion. Fear. Thought the dog reacted to a bomb.

"Waaaah!" Leo threw his head back. Screamed. Shattered the tension. "The doggy is scary! Mommy!"

"I want to go home!" Cyra joined in. Fake tears streaming instantly.

The terminal dissolved into chaos. Passengers muttered. Incompetent security. The captain looked at the sobbing children. The terrified dog. The frazzled mother.

"Go," he waved them through. Disgusted. "Just go. Control your brats."

Lyra bowed her head submissively. "Thank you, sir. So sorry."

She pushed the cart past the checkpoint. Clear of the cameras. Her posture straightened. The fear vanished from her eyes. Replaced by cold. Calculation.

"Nice assist," she whispered.

Aries smirked. The gold faded from his eyes. "That dog was weak. Disgraceful."

"And the crying?" Leo wiped his dry face. "Oscar-worthy?"

"Solid B-plus," Lyra critiqued. "Less screeching next time."

They walked out of the terminal. Into the grey smog of Obsidian City. A black van was waiting.

Lyra loaded the kids. The guns. Looked up at the skyline.

Dominating the view was the Storm Tower. A monolith of black glass. Piercing the clouds. The headquarters of the Storm Pack.

His territory.

Lyra touched her neck. Where a phantom bite mark still burned after six years.

"I'm back, Damon," she whispered. "And I'm taking what I need."

Damon's POV

Storm Tower. Top Floor.

Damon Storm stood by the floor-to-ceiling window. Overlooking his city.

Man carved from nightmare and desire. Suit jacket cut close. Fabric straining across broad shoulders. No wrinkles. The silk probably cost more than my life. But beneath it? Violence coiled.

He hadn't slept in three days. Headaches getting worse. The Feral State clawing at the edges of his sanity. And that vein in his neck. Thick. Pulsing against the collar.

Suddenly. He froze.

Chest tight. Air stopped.

A scent.

Faint. Impossible. Undeniable.

Rain. Mountain flowers. And... milk?

Physical blow. Snapped the fragile leash on his control.

"Sir?" His assistant, Elias, stepped forward cautiously. "The meeting with the Elders is in five—"

CRACK.

The heavy mahogany desk Damon was leaning on split down the middle. Splinters flew.

Damon didn't notice. Amber eyes dilated. Pupils slitted. Pressed his hand against the glass. Staring towards the airport highway.

"She," he rasped. A growl. Made Elias's knees buckle.

"Sir?"

"She is here."

Damon turned. Face terrifying. A mix of glorious hope and homicidal rage.

"Find her," he ordered. "Tear this city apart. Check every camera, every hotel, every shadow. If she tries to leave again..."

He let out a breath. The windowpane in front of him exploded. A million diamonds raining down.

"...break her legs."
