"Fight? You want to fight? Right now?" Naoya said in surprise while raising his flight ticket.
"Don't worry about it. Whether you go today or tomorrow, it won't make much difference. Besides, it won't be like our normal practice fights..."
Satori suddenly stopped smiling and continued.
"We'll make a binding vow."
"A binding vow?"
"The winner can tell the loser to do any one thing they want." Satori raised her finger, making Naoya frown.
A fight with a bet on the line?
And not just any bet, but one with a binding vow...
Naoya narrowed his eyes. After thinking for a moment, the corners of his mouth lifted up.
"Anything... you say?"
"Yes, anything," Satori replied without hesitation.
"Just so we're clear, by anything, you mean everything goes, right?" Naoya said while making a grabbing motion at her chest.
Satori paused for a moment before asking,
"Didn't you say you see me as your best friend?"
"Doesn't mean I'm not sexually attracted to you."
"Oh?..."
Satori murmured in a small tone before her figure flashed and appeared right in front of Naoya, grabbing his collar.
Her eyes glowed with a dangerous light as she said word by word,
"You can ask for anything, and the same goes for me."
She tightened her grip around his collar and continued,
"Just so you know, I will not be holding back."
Naoya suddenly stood up and looked down at her from above.
"You think you'll win?"
Their gazes collided, sending invisible sparks flying around.
Satori stared at him with the utmost serious expression and asked,
"Tell me..."
"Are you Naoya Zenin because you're the strongest, or are you the strongest because you are Naoya Zenin?"
Naoya simply grinned in response.
He understood.
This time, Satori was truly serious about the fight.
After Suguri came back, she saw Naoya and Satori staring at each other with murderous eyes.
The scene filled her with confusion.
----
A final battle.
Between the two strongest sorcerers of the current generation.
Gojo vs Zenin.
A fight between friends.
'This might be difficult to win...'
Naoya was faced with a dilemma.
He could counter Infinity with Domain Amplification, but how was he supposed to deal with Unlimited Void...
That thing would overload his brain within a second.
'Though there is a way to survive it once...'
Naoya narrowed his eyes.
----
The next day.
In an open area.
Satori Gojo, wearing a black fitted top with loose white pants, walked up to the figure standing with his arms crossed.
Naoya Zenin.
Their gazes clashed.
Satori didn't say anything, completely unlike her usual cheerful self.
Naoya scratched his chin, then turned serious as well.
Silently, a divine wheel appeared above his head.
"Let's start then."
As soon as he finished speaking—
A red and blue cursed energy ball combined.
Giving birth to Purple.
It happened in a matter of seconds.
But someone was way faster than her.
Projection Sorcery.
Naoya's figure flashed at an incredible speed. As Hollow Purple was leaving Satori's hand, he appeared beside her and used Domain Amplification on his hands.
A single touch, and he would win.
But as his right hand came in contact with Infinity and was about to pass through it—
Naoya's eyes widened.
Why?
Because he saw that Satori's hands, which had been hidden under the light of Purple, had actually formed a hand sign.
'She wouldn't?! We just started!!'
In response, he saw Satori grin and move her lips without making a sound.
Domain Expansion: Infinite Void.
The domain expanded.
Naoya quickly moved his hands.
Simple Domain.
Naoya stared at the Infinite Void surrounding him with a dark look on his face.
And just then—
The sound of chains entered his ears.
Right in front of him, Satori Gojo tightly held a familiar weapon in her hands.
The Inverted Spear of Heaven.
'Oh fck—'
Naoya barely managed to curse in his mind before the Inverted Spear of Heaven pierced through his simple barrier and struck his shoulder.
And as soon as the spear made contact—
The wheel above his head vanished.
And the Simple Domain broke apart.
"Sorry, but I won."
Satori declared in a calm tone while lightly placing her head against Naoya's chest.
The sure-hit effect of Infinite Void had taken place.
Nobody could survive Infinite Void.
Nobody...
With the sole exception of Naoya Zenin.
"You really prepared well..."
Satori's eyes contracted. She had been caught off guard.
Then, before she could react, Naoya grabbed the blade stuck in his shoulder, tore it out, and plunged it toward the ground.
Or at least he tried to.
Because Satori suddenly tightened her grip around the handle.
*Grab*
The two of them suddenly entered an intense tug-of-war.
Naoya gritted his teeth and used all of his strength, managing to overpower Satori's resistance for a moment.
The two of them fell to the ground as the Inverted Spear of Heaven pierced through Satori's domain, breaking it apart.
Instantly, Cursed Technique Burnout hit Satori, making blood seep out of her eyes, nose, and ears.
Ignoring the pain, she quickly jumped back to create some distance from Naoya.
"How did you survive my domain?"
"Third technique."
"???"
This bastard has a third cursed technique???
Satori gritted her teeth.
She couldn't lose!
Naoya saw the scene and raised an eyebrow.
"It's over. You can't use your technique anymore."
"Admit defeat."
Satori clenched her fists.
Her brain worked at full speed, trying to find some countermeasure.
Right now, she wasn't the strongest sorcerer who could repeatedly heal their brain in battle.
Which meant she had really hit a dead end.
Just then, a thought struck her.
'Why wasn't Naoya healing himself?'
His right shoulder was horribly torn, exposing bone, and yet he just stood there...
Asking her to surrender.
The dots instantly connected in her mind.
"You... can't use your technique either, can you?"
"..."
Naoya stared at her in silence.
He had transferred the damage from Infinite Void to his clone.
But the last tug-of-war he had with Satori...
Had exceeded the limits of what his clone could handle...
Which meant, for a fraction of a second, he had been affected by Infinite Void.
And then, the very next moment—
As if to confirm Satori's conjecture—
Blood started seeping out of Naoya's eyes and nose.
Seeing the scene, Satori burst out laughing.
"Ahahaha! It seems your third technique couldn't save you from my domain!"
Naoya wiped the blood from his nose and said,
"You're sounding and acting like a villain."
"A villain? Hehehe, that doesn't sound bad."
A villainous smile appeared on Satori's face as she clenched her fists and took a step forward.
Seeing the scene, Naoya couldn't help but shake his head in pain.
Damn, his shoulder really hurt!
But Satori was in no mood to give him any chance.
Her clenched fist went straight for his face, forcing Naoya to raise his working left hand to block it.
Then—
The two of them entered a bloody fistfight.
On one side was Satori with brain damage.
On the other side was Naoya with brain damage, a dismembered right shoulder, and the Inverted Spear of Heaven in hand.
Punches were thrown.
Bloody slashes were exchanged.
Finally, after a full five minutes, Naoya, under the effects of massive blood loss, fell onto his back.
Satori, with bloody cuts all over her body, sat above him with her fist tightly clenched.
"Say it."
Naoya glanced at her bloodied fist and said,
"Yeah, you won..."
Damn, what a shitty battle.
He couldn't use any of his techniques.
As soon as Naoya admitted defeat, Satori released her clenched fist.
Then she said in a small voice,
"The binding vow..."
Naoya gave her a difficult look.
Just what the hell did she want so badly from him that she couldn't even wait until they were healed up?
S-she wouldn't ask him to be her slave, would she?...
Just as Naoya was having a bad premonition, Satori quietly grabbed his face with her bloody hands and stared straight into his eyes before saying,
"You..... belong to me now."
"..."
Wtf?
What kind of stupid bloody proposal is this??
Naoya forgot that he was in a half dying state and suddenly stood up, making the two of them hit their foreheads.
*Clank*
Satori suppressed the pain and quickly ckenched her fists.
"You still haven't given up!?"
Before she could start ankther round, Naoya quickly said.
"No wait! That's not it! Put down your hand!!"
