"Ok, let's calm down"
While looking at those quests almost gave him a heart attack, he technically still had time, or at least he thought so.
However, this did throw a wrench in his original plans.
After all, one of his first plans after coming into this world was slowly feeding Yuji fingers up to 10 or 15 before killing him.
Kinda like how Yuta did in the original series, but with no intentions of bringing him back.
It was the practical solution.
The higher-ups were right regardless of how much the series and the characters themselves tried to villainise them.
Just the mere existence of Yuji Itadori put everyone else at risk.
And in the end that risk was finally realised because of him thousands of people died in Shibuya, Shinjuku, and Gojo got killed, and Megumi got taken over.
This was still one of the better outcomes considering who they were dealing with.
The king of curses himself.
The strongest sorcerer in history and while he still believed Gojo to be overall superior.
That didn't change the fact that Sukuna did manage to outsmart and kill Gojo with the help of 10 shadows, one of the strongest techniques in the verse, and his adopted son Megumi, tanking Gojo's domain.
But, since all of that was no longer possible, he had to change course and be prepared to somehow fight Sukuna himself regardless of how impossible it sounded.
After all, he had read enough novels to know to not try and fight the system or find any loopholes.
Especially if the system was given by the same supposed godlike being that brought him to this world.
Nothing comes free in this world after all and if he wanted to live his second life to the fullest, he would have to fight for it.
Speaking of which, another thing that caught his eyes were his age and title.
'16' and 'Disgrace of the Zenin family '
In the main timeline, Yuji and Megumi are already attending Jujutsu high.
Naoya should be 28 or 29, similar to Gojo.
So why is he suddenly 16?
He could feel a headache brewing at the only possibility that made sense.
That this world was different from, or at least had some differences from, the main manga of Jujutsu Kaisen.
In which case he would lose a big part of the biggest advantage he had in this world.
His knowledge of the future.
'This might be more troublesome than I expected'
There was also that title 'Disgrace of the Zenin family'
Wasn't Naoya supposed to be adored and be the strongest candidate to be the next head of the Zenin clan around this time?
Atleast untill Megumi came around with his potential technique.
Thankfully, he had access to memories of this world's Naoya, he'll have to look through them later.
Still, he couldn't help but think that the title of 'Disgrace' really suited him.
After all, in the original series he only existed to be humiliated and lose fights he probably could've won if he just picked up any sharp weapon and wasn't a complete idiot.
A high task for him, maybe.
However, even if it fit him. He was Naoya now, whether he liked it or not, and the idea of people calling him the disgrace or shame put a sour taste in his mouth.
"Whatever, it doesn't matter now"
Quickly going through the memory of his own projection sorcery, cursed energy and how to use them.
He came to find that despite having access to all 24 frames, due to his own lack of skills, Noaya could only move at 16.
It could be chalked up to him being younger, but he would rather blame it on the original Naoya being incompetent.
Now having a basic grasp of his situation
He remembered his teacher's words about
meeting in the ground for practical sparring.
Upon reaching his destination, he found everyone already settled down with their attention fixed on the ongoing match.
Megumi Fushiguro vs Kamo Noritoshi.
The fight was already underway, and it seemed like Megumi had the upper hand.
Using a black-bladed cursed tool with divine dog totality.
He kept up the pressure on Kamo, who tried desperately to defend using blood manipulation with both his own blood and blood packs.
Before finally using reverse red scales to increase his physical abilities to match and even threaten Megumi.
As Noritoshi got faster and continued assaulting Megumi.
Megumi was forced to jump back while the divine dog emerged from the shadow and slashed at Noritoshi's chest, causing him to grimace but also smile.
By using the gaping claw-shaped slash mark on his chest, he utilised the spilling blood in an all-out attack.
Catching the dog by surprise and pushing it away injured.
Barely maintaining consciousness to use the reverse cursed technique to heal his wound and his blood levels to a safe level.
Kamo planned to end the match soon with a fully powered piercing blood, but when he tried looking for Megumi, he was already gone.
Nowhere to be found until Kamo felt a gaping pain in his chest.
Looking down in horror, he saw a black shadowy blade sticking through his chest.
"Anrin should be able to heal this much"
A disinterested voice came from behind him as Kamo fell unconscious before being rushed to the medical ward.
"Winner Megumi Fushiguro"
The teacher announced.
But Naoya's mind was somewhere else as a disturbing thought came over him.
'Is it just me or did Megumi look competent and actually strong just now?'
Especially the last move at the end, which reminded him of a certain other broke Fushiguro.
He had no choice but to admit this world was different from what he knew.
"Next Maki Zenin vs. Naoya Zenin"
