The sun was already high when Abraão woke up. It was almost 7:50 a.m. Warm light streamed through the dormitory window, heating the room. He sat up in bed, feeling his body still tired from yesterday's fight, but with a lighter head. Level 90. The victory against Jhonatam had been good, but he knew that was just the beginning.
Lia woke up next, yawning and stretching her arms.
"Morning… what a good sleep. I dreamed we were back in the village."
Abraão smiled. "That'd be nice. But here's good too."
She scooted closer and gave him a quick side hug. "Yeah… with you here, it's better."
Liora woke up stretching on the floor, his silver-blue hair all tangled.
"Abraão-nii! Morning! Are we training more today? I want to learn that spin you did yesterday!"
Lia laughed. "Lio, you wake up with way too much energy."
Liora: "It's because I'm happy to be with you guys!"
They headed down to the dining hall around 8:10 a.m. They grabbed trays: fresh lunar fruit juice, hot bread with creamy ricotta and slices of smoked cheese. They sat at a table near the window.
Lia: "You feeling any pain from yesterday?"
Abraão: "A little in the shoulder, but nothing serious."
Liora: "I can rub some ointment on after training!"
Around 9 a.m., they headed to the training room. Murata was already there, but today's session was lighter and more fun: a precision challenge with moving targets and shifting platforms.
Murata: "Today's all about improving control. No brute force needed. Just precision."
The training turned into a game. Abraão, Lia, and Liora competed to see who could slice the most targets without missing. Lia nailed 4 in a row and cheered.
"Look at that! I've improved!"
Abraão: "You're really getting good."
Liora danced between the platforms, cutting targets with colorful lunar veils. "I'm the prettiest one doing this!"
Around 11:30 a.m., Jhonatam showed up with his friends, watching from afar.
"Look at the rookies' circus." He glanced at Lia with that charming smile. "Still training with these two? Come over here, I'll show you the real deal."
Lia: "You're such a pain. Can't you see I don't want anything to do with you? Or do you want me to draw it out?"
Jhonatam laughed and looked at Liora with disdain. "And this little puppet is still here? How pathetic."
Liora hid behind Abraão, muttering: "I don't like him…"
Meanwhile, in the back of the room, Saori Oshiro (from the Eclipse Black Dojo) watched everything with a cold smile. She stepped a bit closer and spoke loudly:
"How cute… the Great Dojo still accepts weak students and freaks. The Eclipse Black is gonna love seeing this."
Abraão frowned. "What do you want here?"
Saori: "Just observing… for now."
In the farthest corner of the room, a girl watched everything in silence. Long black hair with silver streaks, intense red eyes, cold expression.
Megumi Watanabe.
She didn't say a word. She just stared at Abraão for a long time, as if evaluating something. Then she turned and slipped away without a sound.
Around 1 p.m., lunch in the dining hall. Vegetable soup, herbed rice, and fruits. They sat together.
Lia: "That Saori gives me the creeps."
Abraão: "Her and Jhonatam… seem to be plotting something."
Liora: "I don't like them… especially Jhonatam."
The afternoon continued with light training until sunset. Night fell around 7 p.m. They had dinner together: light soup, bread, and cheese. They sat on the veranda.
Lia rested her head on Abraão's shoulder. "Today was good… despite those idiots."
Liora fell asleep in his lap, curled up.
Abraão looked up at the moons. Megumi Watanabe… why was she looking at me like that?
His phone buzzed. Mission: "Complete a day of training. Post a group photo."
Reward: +2 levels (90). "Combat Instinct" (+5% reaction in official fights).
Abraão pocketed the phone.
"Tomorrow's gonna be more complicated… but we'll handle it."
