The red sleek ship arrived in Happy Harbor, and the teens finally saw their target: a huge tornado that spun through the harbor, bringing destruction.
"What the hell is that?!" Wally gasped in shock.
"A mission," Gogeta said with a smile. He stood up and turned to Megan. Sharing a tactical understanding, she nodded.
"A perfect mission."
Below him, the ship opened, and he fell.
"Does he know anything about teamwork?" Wally muttered.
Megan smiled, the seat belt unfolding from her body. "Let's go and help."
Boom!
Gogeta landed on the harbor, the ground caving in and a dust cloud rising around him.
Swoosh!
Gogeta pointed at the tornado, his lips curling up. Golden energy swirled around his palm, and then—
Boom!
A golden sphere shot forward, striking the tornado.
Boom!
The tornado dispersed violently.
"Who dares?!" A robotic voice echoed from within the dispersing tornado as a blue figure with a scarf around its neck emerged, looking at the teens.
"Children? I have no quarrel with children!" Twister pointed at the kids. "I want a real hero!"
Swoosh!
A spiraling tornado burst out from his hand toward the team.
Gogeta clenched his fist and exploded forward, clashing with the tornado… There was no suspense; he was sent flying back immediately, the team jumping away just in time to dodge him.
"Gogeta?!" Megan screamed through the mind link.
"I'm fine," Gogeta said as he slowly stood up from the crater, entirely unscathed. His grin stretched wider. "In fact, I'm more than fine."
Swoosh! Swoosh!
Robin's birdarangs cut through the air toward Twister, but the moment they got two meters away from him, a tornado surged upward, covering his body—the sphere exploding on contact.
Kid Flash ran around the tornado, only for it to expand, sending him flying. Superboy, with a roar, jumped sky-high but was sent flying back down even faster. Aqualad tried using the seawater to strike, but a tornado struck him first.
"Ready for round two?!" Gogeta shouted excitedly as he shot upward, the ground caving in and cracks spreading across it.
A tornado shot toward Gogeta, but as if he were stepping on a platform, he spun mid-air, dodging the attack. He clasped his hands, clenching them into a single fist, which he brought down on Twister. The tornado that surged around his body proved futile to stop the attack.
Swoosh!
Boom!
Like a falling asteroid, he fell on the ground, creating a deep and wide crater.
"Haaa!!" Gogeta raised his hand, golden energy swirling and forming a huge ki ball. "Take this!"
Boom!
The ki blast fell on the harbor, creating a small rotating golden sphere in a ten-meter radius, followed by a fierce gale mixed with little debris.
"…"
The team stared at the huge crater in silence.
"You've got to be kidding me…" Robin muttered.
"Okay, remind me never to provoke him. Ever," Kid Flash said.
Gogeta lightly landed on the ground and placed his hands on his hips with a smile. "A little bit exciting… but still weak."
Megan flew toward him anxiously. After landing, she checked his body, and only after seeing he was safe did she breathe a sigh of relief—but following that was her flushed face as the realization of what she did dawned on her.
"Didn't I say it? I'm okay," Gogeta said with a smile.
"I…nter…esting…" A static voice came from deep inside the crater, drawing the team's gaze.
Twister lay in the smoking crater with only his inner core intact.
"An anom…aly from the league. Sa…ve your vi…ctory. Next time… you shall be the one… lying on the ground… defeated."
With those last words, the inner core's shimmering glow dimmed.
" Wait it was a robot?!" Kid Flash gasped.
"What the hell was that?" Robin muttered beside him.
"Who knows," Gogeta shrugged with a smile. "If he really can revive, I can't wait for his comeback."

The flight back to Mount Justice was quiet.
Robin, Aqualad, Kid Flash, and Megan subtly stared at Gogeta, who sat beside the window, head resting on the chair and eyes closed.
Opposite him, Superboy stared through the window at the blue sea, his expression taut and his jaw clenched.
The sleek bio-ship soon reached Mount Justice, and as the hangar opened, it slowly descended—the teens inside noticing the floating Red Tornado within.
"No sign of severe injuries, and you successfully battled your first villain. Well done," Red Tornado said the moment the teens stepped out of the ship.
"What can I say? We're just that good," Kid Flash said with a smile.

Mount Justice.
The next day, inside the training room, the entire team had gathered.
Boom! Boom!
Superboy's knuckles struck a reinforced steel sandbag repeatedly, his eyes filled with rage at the unknown emotion that gnawed at his heart.
Crack!
With a last punch, the sandbag—unable to sustain—tore off its hydraulic chain, slamming into a far concrete wall and leaving a dent.
"Wow. Remind me never to buy you a stress ball," Wally, leaning on a wall, whistled while eating cereal from his bowl.
Superboy ignored him. His eyes shifted to a corner of the room where Gogeta trained, but unlike his rage-filled attacks, Gogeta's attacks felt fluid, trained… precise.
Swoosh! Swoosh!
His hands cut through the air, and his legs moved like a whip.
Seeing the others curiously watch Gogeta train—especially Megan—something seemed to snap in his head as that same feeling came again… stronger this time.
"Hey!" Superboy called out as he stepped forward, standing a few inches away from the ring's rope, his eyes fixed on Gogeta. "Fight me."
Gogeta stopped his training and pointed at himself. "Me?"
"Yeah. Who else?"
"Sure, I don't see why not." Gogeta shrugged as he lightly levitated, landing on the arena.
"I… I don't think we sh—"
"Shut up! This doesn't concern you!" Superboy shouted, cutting off Megan's words. Then he turned to Gogeta.
Bang!
He shot forward and punched out, but Gogeta easily sidestepped the attack, grabbed his arm, struck his stomach with a knee, and stepped back, watching as Superboy fell on the floor on his knees, gasping for breath.
"Your attacks are filled with too much rage. Easy to predict and counter," Gogeta said with a smile.
"All team members report to the briefing room immediately," Batman's signature deep and authoritative voice came through the comms, echoing in the training room. "You have sixty seconds. Don't make me repeat myself."
"The Bat's calling," Gogeta said, then squatted slightly and stretched his hand toward Superboy. "You need help?"
Superboy violently shoved it aside and weakly stood up, following Robin, Kid Flash, and Aqualad as they left the room.
"Gogeta…" Megan walked to his side and looked at him in concern.
"Don't worry. Didn't I tell you he's like a tsundere cat? Come on, let's go—let's not keep Bats waiting," Gogeta said, and together with Megan, left the room.
Batman stood in the main room. The moment he saw the four boys step out of a corner, his eyes lingered on Superboy for more than a second before he looked away.
After Gogeta and Megan came, he didn't bother with any pleasantries, going straight to the topic:
"I have a mission for you."

It's been long since I've watched Young Justice, and I simply don't want to recreate some things in the canon, so there might be deviations in the other characters' words. Please don't come after me.
