The other members of the Straw Hat Pirates had similar thoughts; in short, once they ascended, they absolutely needed an opportunity to meet them face-to-face.
It would be best to chat, unlike their brief, hasty meeting on Jaya Island where they only exchanged a few words.
"Shiro, well done." Seeing their own pirate ship and Pirate Crew actually overtake the Straw Hat Pirates, although the Straw Hat Pirate Crew could not compare to the Pink Hat Pirate Crew now, it would be a lie to say Luna had no vanity or competitive spirit.
This current act of surpassing them during the Knock-Up Stream phase already made Luna very happy, but she knew that all the credit belonged to Shiro, and she had no choice but to offer praise.
"It wasn't just me; Dia also gave me a hand." Shiro accepted the praise with a smile, but she didn't forget to mention Dia, who had helped her assemble these things.
"As the Shipwright on the ship, this is what I should do," Dia said with a smile.
"Hahaha, you are all wonderful, and you are all my partners," Luna laughed heartily.
The others also started laughing one after another; this was their Pirate Crew of young women and sisterly affection.
Whether they were local partners or partners from another world, they all slowly grew fond of this special home, a home they wanted to protect and continue to solidify together.
However, as they got closer to Skypiea, the air currents and accompanying seawater formed in their location immediately made the members of the two great Pirate Crews struggle to breathe.
Because if they opened their mouths to breathe, they would suck in water, which was extremely uncomfortable.
The Straw Hat Pirate Crew immediately suffered.
The Pink Hat Pirate Crew, however, fared much better.
Luna, Kuina, and Shiro took action one after another.
Luna released an energy light shield, blocking the front of the bow and absorbing all the airflow and seawater.
Kuina sent all the fragments of the Demon Blade Thousand Blades flying out, forming an energy barrier on the right side to block the lateral airflow and seawater.
Shiro went to the left side and released the Galactron Barrier, generating a honeycomb-shaped gate barrier, blocking the airflow and seawater on that side.
Under these three defenses, the Pink Hat Pirate Crew was surprisingly unaffected—this was the advantage of having great strength and multiple abilities.
Conversely, the Straw Hat Pirates still had too little strength and their abilities were too monotonous.
Nevertheless, both sides continued sailing upward, finally seeing the light.
Soon, the two great Pirate Crews arrived at the Sky Sea, dominated by Cumulonimbus clouds, where blue sky stretched above and only clouds lay below.
The two great pirate ships floated on the clouds. Perhaps because of their large size, they were able to float on the cloud surface just like sailing normally on the sea.
But this was ultimately cloud; although it was named the Sky Sea, there was no seabed at all. Passing through the layers of clouds below would result in a direct fall.
Luna, who had watched the One Piece anime in her previous life, especially the Skypiea arc, understood this very well.
Seeing the Straw Hat Pirate Crew's Going Merry beside them, Luna realized that since they were destined to change ships, they hadn't bothered naming the pirate ship beneath them.
After thinking for a moment, Luna spoke.
"Let the robot take control of the ship; we are all going over to the Straw Hat Pirates' deck."
"Alright." The Girls all agreed. After Shiro input the instruction for the robot to look after the pirate ship.
Dia immediately used spatial transmission to bring the entire group over to the Straw Hat Pirates' side.
This instantly startled all seven members of the Straw Hat Pirates.
They had not expected the Pink Hat Pirates to suddenly appear on their deck, so they were immediately shocked.
Especially Usopp, who was already standing on the railing, bare-chested and ready to swim in the Sky Sea.
He immediately slipped, fell, and plunged into the clouds as if he were a fish finding water.
"Ah, Usopp!" Luffy shouted worriedly.
"Is he going to be okay?" Chopper followed up immediately.
"Relax, Usopp can swim, and he isn't a Devil Fruit User anyway," Sanji said somewhat nonchalantly.
"No, while the Sky Sea clouds can support our two pirate ships, they might not support a person. They will fall directly through the clouds and drop down. Although this place is called the Sky Sea, it has no seabed."
Luna shook her head and gave a wry smile.
"What!" The entire Straw Hat Pirate Crew and some people from the Pink Hat Pirate Crew exclaimed in shock.
"I'll go save him." Kaya, his childhood friend, immediately grew anxious.
She instantly transformed into Angel Form, spreading six angelic wings behind her. She looked magnificent and beautiful, and clearly possessed considerable fighting power, which stunned the Straw Hat Pirates who were seeing it for the first time, including Luffy, who was already preparing to stretch out his long rubber arm to rescue Usopp.
Using the energy of light to accelerate, Kaya leaped from the ship and plunged into the sea of clouds, following a streak of golden light.
Like a fiercely striking peregrine falcon.
Seeing Kaya go to rescue Usopp, and thinking of the deep relationship between Usopp and Kaya, Luffy stopped stretching out his arm for the rescue.
But at the same time, the other two Straw Hat Pirates members hailing from the East Blue, Zoro and Nami, including Luffy himself, still found it hard to believe: Was this really Kaya? The Kaya who used to be frail and sickly, looking like she might fall down at any moment when she walked?
This change was truly immense. How could they have imagined that Kaya would have such a fortuitous encounter and obtain a legendary Devil Fruit like the Angel Fruit?
If they were discussing strength now, only Zoro and Luffy still had some hope.
Meanwhile, Kaya, who had entered the clouds below, hadn't expected the cloud layer to be so dense, interfering with her vision.
She had been descending for a while without seeing Usopp.
She could only immediately use Observation Haki, which finally allowed her to sense Usopp's presence nearby.
She immediately flew over and finally saw Usopp the moment she flew out of the clouds.
Kaya immediately flew over, passed her arms under Usopp's shoulders, and embraced him. The two of them stopped mid-air, below the cloud layer. Kaya had successfully caught and rescued Usopp.
But quickly, Kaya once again unleashed her power of light, carrying both Usopp and herself back up through the clouds.
They returned to the Going Merry, and seeing them come back immediately made both great Pirate Crews breathe a sigh of relief.
The Straw Hat Pirates were naturally worried about their comrade, while the Pink Hat Pirates felt somewhat apologetic, after all, Usopp had fallen because he was startled by their sudden appearance.
Furthermore, they knew this person was Kaya's childhood friend, so they were also concerned.
Usopp was brought onto the deck by Kaya, who immediately began performing CPR.
"I'm so jealous of Usopp," Sanji said with an envious expression.
"She's his, not yours," Zoro said expressionlessly. Sanji was about to flare up and retort to Zoro as usual, but then he saw Zoro walking toward Kuina. Although Zoro's back was turned to him, Sanji noticed that Zoro was trembling slightly.
Sanji was initially confused, but when he thought about Zoro's current reaction, which was similar to Nami's and Usopp's earlier, he was instantly shocked. Could it be that this first mate of the Pink Hat Pirate Crew was related to Zoro? Could their relationship be the same as, or similar to, Usopp's and Kaya's?
In an instant, he felt so frustrated and envious that he almost wanted to spurt blood from his nose. At the same time, he was very confused as to why Zoro hadn't told them about this.
However, he figured he would surely hear a story soon enough.
"Cough, cough, cough, cough." Usopp coughed twice and immediately woke up. He hadn't actually drowned; he had fainted from shock, so he recovered quickly.
"That's great, you're okay." Seeing this, Kaya immediately breathed a sigh of relief, and she also deactivated her Angel Form.
"Thanks, Kaya. It's really been a long time. It's wonderful that you can finally come out and pursue your dream." Usopp first offered thanks, then greetings, and finally expressed happiness that Kaya was able to pursue her own dream.
"I also have to thank Captain Luna. She granted me the Angel Fruit; it was essentially the invitation gift for me to join the ship." Kaya, however, attributed all the credit to Luna.
Upon hearing this, the entire Straw Hat Pirate Crew was dumbfounded, including Zoro, who was just about to greet Kuina.
They all looked at Luna with disbelief. A legendary Devil Fruit as powerful as the Angel Fruit was given away as a gift? What kind of big-shot captain was this?
Then, all the Straw Hat Pirates crew members couldn't help but look at Luffy, internally complaining: 'Look at you, then look at her. Why is there such a huge difference in both strength and foundation?'
Of course, this was just an internal complaint. Chopper and Robin were Devil Fruit Users. Among Devil Fruits, Sanji was only interested in the Clear-Clear Fruit, or perhaps the Chameleon Fruit.
Zoro and Nami had no interest in Devil Fruits.
They trusted their own abilities more: swordsmanship and mastery over the weather.
Luffy was also similar to Robin and Chopper, not to mention the supposedly weak Paramecia Rubber-Rubber Fruit, which was clearly the incredibly powerful Zoan Hito Hito no Mi Mythical Zoan sun god nika fruit.
So, they were only slightly complaining about Luffy in their hearts.
Luna did not comment on this, nor did the other girls.
Because based on their current deep sisterly affection, there was no need to say anything else; staying well within this special home was enough.
"Oh, what is this?" Usopp felt something strange and immediately pulled an Sky Fish out of his pant leg.
Robin, highly interested, grabbed the Sky Fish, just about to explain something.
But suddenly, a huge octopus, at least 15 meters long, and a long, slender, ribbonfish-like strange fish emerged from the clouds.
But undoubtedly, these were ferocious Skypiea predators that had evolved to adapt to this environment.
Nami and Chopper were instantly startled.
From the Pink Hat Pirates' side, Carmen and Nojiko prepared to take action, but Luna stopped them.
She just smiled and said...
