Nixxin, Jayo, and Teddy walk into a room; it's full of investigators switching to their uniforms. Their uniforms look normal, like business attire. Nixxin looks around the room. "I should just wear my suits if it were business attire."
Nixxin sees a man; he is wearing a mask and is full of scars on his body. The man with the mask looks in his direction. Nixxin looks at the mirror in front of him, then Teddy taps his shoulder, and Teddy looks at Nixxin. "Can you bring us the video camera?" Teddy points at a table; there are many video cameras.
Nixxin picks up one and hands it to Teddy. As they go out of the building, in the street outside the building, Jayo looks at Nixxin. "Isn't it better if we look near your place, Nixxin? I also live at Commercial 199."
Nixxin looks at Jayo and nods. "I guess?"
Teddy calls a taxi. The taxi stops in front of them, and Jayo enters, then Nixxin and Teddy. Nixxin feels a bit awkward, and the two of them are looking at him.
Jayo looks at him with his eyes narrowed. "So?"
Nixxin looks at Jayo and looks at the driver. "Drop us at the center of Commercial 199." It's going to be a ~20 awkward minute, shit!
Teddy looks at Nixxin's back. "What is that at your back?"
Nixxin tries to look at it. "It's just cloth, you know, to make sure my suit won't get sweaty; it's going to be a long day, I heard." He won't believe that I can actually sweat, but that's fine, he will notice it later.
Teddy looks at it suspiciously, he is a glowing men, they don't sweat, what is going in here?
Nixxin breathes calmly when they get to the center. "So... Where do you guys like to look out?"
Nixxin looks around. "I can find drug dealers easily; it's so easy to find one."
They look around the city. Jayo looks at the back alley. "Should we seek the back alley?"
Teddy looks at Jayo. "What about we start near your house, Jayo?"
Jayo looks at Teddy sitting in front of a coffee shop. "Yeah, we could, although the commercial area there is very dense; the street is full of people selling and buying."
Nixxin looks at them. "Are we going?"
Teddy stands up. "Let's go."
Jayo follows Teddy, while Nixxin is still staring, and he then proceeds to follow them. While standing outside Jayo's house, Nixxin noticed, "This is the same place where the underground is close."
Nixxin stared at the covered, unfinished building in the back; that's where the underground is. Teddy looks at Nixxin and notices he is looking at the unfinished building. Then Jayo goes out of his house, and Teddy asks Jayo, "The underground is still not finished?"
Jayo looks at it. "Yes, but I heard it was soon to be open."
Nixxin looks at Jayo. "What about if we look at the back alley?"
Jayo looks at him. "We could, but we have to leave you."
Nixxin wonders why. Nixxin forced a smile and said, "Why am I being left out?"
Jayo pulled Nixxin closer and showed him what was inside his overcoat. Jayo pulled out his cellphone and wallet and gave them to Nixxin, but Nixxin's eyes were looking at his gun. Nixxin was frozen; he didn't know what to do. He couldn't pick up the wallet and phone Jayo was giving him; there was something wrong about this. Nixxin had seen death since he was a child; he was born seeing people from Datora sacrificing themselves for him, and he saw other children getting killed and abused when he was kidnapped, but no matter how many times he saw all of those things, Nixxin couldn't calm himself when seeing a gun.
"Hey Nixxin, what's going on with you?" Jayo asked.
Nixxin stared too long at the gun, a Glock. Nixxin pick the phone and wallet not even thinking, he just felt something different, it feels like he need to follow, while staring at the phone, he remembers Wia, he have a thought, a thought that wasn't so nice, a thought were Wia is dead, by the time he comeback to the house she is lying in the floor and police investigating the place, where shooting happen, Nixxin wants to comeback, but he was afraid, afraid of something that won't happen, and Nixxin slowly put it at his bag, he looks at Jayo with his eyes can't even blink, then Teddy gives his phone and wallet, Teddy is in shock, when he looks at Nixxin's head and nose, he can actually sweat, and he said "There's many thieves at the back alley, and it is also dangerous for you kid."
Then he looks at Teddy follows Jayo to the back alley, he can't escape his thought of having his uncle and grandpa being shot, when Teddy and Jayo turn, he waits for a second, staring blankly at the ground, Nixxin try to distract himself from thinking, he have a mission to do, Nixxin looks at them back, to make sure they won't look back, then Nixxin pick up, Jayo's phone he look if it's recording, then to Teddy's phone, it's not, then he looks at the wallet, they just bring a money that looks enough for traveling and eating, once he is sure there's no recorder.
Nixxin turn to his left in the street, there's a camera seller, "Hey sellerman."
The salesman looks at Nixxin, "Do you know man named Jayo Owen?"
The salesman looks around, and he whisper, "Is he investigating you?"
Nixxin looks at the camera's he sells, "No. We! Are investigating."
The salesman stand up straight, "So will you buy my cameras?"
Nixxin smiles, "No... But... I'm going to buy 100 boxes of spiral drug, and put it, at Jayo Owen's house, make sure there's no foot print and hand print."
Nixxin pick up his phone, "You'll sabotage the investigation?"
Nixxin looks at the salesman, and looks at his phone, "Yeah, I guess?"
Nixxin dialed Panko's number, "Panko, may I ask why, the chief know you?"
He wait for an answer, it took Panko to answer than usual, "Maybe because I got too popular for killing, but don't worry, they can't catch me."
Nixxin looks at the camera's, "The other half of the payment after the plan, you'll meet that succubus, say I will come and just wait, then, kill her, she have money and that's the other half."
Panko laughs, and said, "So, what will happen next? You will kill me?"
Nixxin think for a second, "Just kill the older one, don't kill the other that looks young."
Nixxin turn the call off, and he took out his phone number, and put it at Jayo's phone, then he took out his black leather gloves, and put at his bag, and he pick up another gloves to wear.
Then Nixxin goes back to the front of the back alley; he is grinning like a creep near Jayo's house. While waiting, he looks at the house, and he sees robots putting boxes. Nixxin looks at the back alley; it took them so long just to explore it. It was already 19minute, there's more people than earlier, it is more noisy and dense, when Jayo and Teddy got out of back alley, Nixxin stand up, "What happened?"
Jayo looks angry, "Some men blocks us, and it took so long just to free us?"
Nixxin give their phone and wallet back, "So, where should we go next?"
Teddy looks around, "Back alley is usually where they sell drugs, I think... They're fooling us. I think... They're trading at other parts, there's a reason why there's so many unfinished buildings in every floor, and why it was covered, I think it was used to lure investigator."
Nixxin looks around, inside, he already think it was good and bad, "I just wonder. Why haven't the government just investigate the general."
Jayo looks at him, "Because... They can hide everything."
Nixxin was lost in mind, he was in a public restroom, and he has been in the restroom for 12min, the bathroom is disgusting and there's two gay fucking each other, and his back is aching, he can't help himself but cry because of the pain, his wings feels like growing but it was tearing his skin apart, new bone, everytime he move is like cutting his back, Nixxin opened the door, he's getting irritated by two gay inside, Nixxin go out of the restroom.
Jayo looking at him, wondering what takes him so long, Nixxin fix his posture although it hurts, he can't just act like dying at public, "We should get moving now?"
Nixxin looks around, he is wondering why, all of a sudden it feels like they're not investigating, it they're sitting at a restaurant, "Oum... When do we investigate?"
Nixxin ask while looking at his plate, it's already empty, and he is still hungry, Teddy looks at him, "Ahhhh... Maybe, maybe when people in here, trust us."
Jayo looks at Nixxin, "Why do you eat so much?"
Nixxin looks at his plates, there's nothing, but the waiter is approaching to give his another order, "I'm fast metabolism... So I want to have many energy while investigating."
The waiter put his food in the table, it's meats, eggs, and lentil, Jayo looks at it, high protein and carbohydrates? Is he training? Well, he doesn't look that big. I mean, he is turning 17 next month; he just looks normal. He looks at Nixxin. Why is he eating so fast? We still have time.
Nixxin looks at the door behind Jayo; he sees a family walking. Obviously they're going to eat. I wonder if Wia has already eaten.
They entered a house; the house has a woman and its child in it. The clock is ticking; it is going to be evening. They have been looking for every house, asking, but no matter how many times they ask, no one is answering their questions. Nixxin looks at his phone; he looks at Wia's chat. Wia asks him in the chats, "Can't you come back rn and continue it later?"
Nixxin replies, "Dw, we already plan to go home before 8:30 pm." It is already dark outside.
Nixxin remembers the gun; he can't control his mind when seeing a gun. It has a feeling of something; when seeing a gun, just follow who's holding it. Nixxin stared above, the fan above rotating.
Nixxin and Jayo were waiting while Teddy was asking the woman about her husband. Teddy went outside the house. "Damn... It's already night?"
Nixxin looked at the sky and then to the street. "I also didn't notice it."
Jayo fixed his pants after sitting for long on the bench outside the house. "So what happened?"
Teddy looked at Jayo. Nixxin stepped closer. "Her husband has been missing."
Jayo asked him, "So... Where did he go?"
Teddy continues to walk. "I'm just going to say to the GC so we can ask more, you know... So we don't spend so much time."
Teddy smiled at Jayo. Jayo and Nixxin followed Teddy out of the day; they had gone to almost all of the southeast of Commercial 199, but after they asked the wife, no one answered again.
Nixxin glances at the roof, at their last street, he sees a man at the rooftop, Nixxin looks at Teddy, he imagined what his family going to be, Teddy already wants to comeback to home, after this street, Teddy planned to buy chocolates and candies for his four child, Nixxin wonders how does it feel to have siblings, but his imagination shift, to seeing his family crying.
Nixxin didn't care about it, but something feels different, he is getting pale all of a sudden, it feels like he is the one getting hunted, his light is fading, and he is loosing his breathe.
As they go and knock the door, Nixxin is in behind, they didn't notice him at first, Nixxin body falls to the ground, but he can't talk, he wants to warn them, he stared at then knocking, as if the time slows down, like the world is playing his life, it feels like he have time to say something, but he can't, Nixxin is dying, he doesn't know why.
He experience death multiple times, but this feeling is different, this death in his mind is unreasonable, he doesn't understand, he looks at the bottom of the door, it slowly opened as the door opens, he saw nothing but dark.
Nixxin tries to stands up, he… he tries to talks and warn them, he tried to force it, "Do—", he says as he is losing his consciousness.
Nixxin fall on the ground, before he lose his consciousness, he heard Jayo shout "What the!", He just gives up, it already over.
