Nixxin's mind is blank; after a month, he is alone. He already cut off his drug deals after getting the money; he is a 6+ tier. It's been a long time since he fought someone; he feels the peace in life, but these aren't the things he wants to do. As long as he isn't tier 7, he couldn't be a face hero.
At the office, Nixxin stands up, his eyes locked to a paper. He notices one thing he already knew: the case was about a church where the priest, nuns, and kids were massacred, leaving one kid who hid in the closet, but the problem is the kid didn't see anything; he just heard it outside. There's no handprint, footprint, or even proof that someone killed in the church.
The smell of blood and flowers was the first thing Nixxin noticed once he entered the church. Jayo and Teddy walk out; there are no houses around; it's in the middle of a grassland near a coastline without roads.
The weapon was believed to be a small explosive flying through the church, but the kid didn't hear any explosion, and the people shouting is just proof they saw someone. Bodies are scattered everywhere; there's no weapon.
Nixxin feels something around; he saw a portrait of Apostle John the Favored, where John was holding a book that was cut at the neck. After a long day, they didn't get anything; they came back to their apartment. He is researching anything about the church; it was last open on Sunday.
Nixxin searched for other things about what happened with the church before until he found out the church was once used as an evacuation center because 23 years ago, a demon gate was summoned near it, a 9.11-tiered demon lust gate, but a paladin with the codename of John was summoned at the shore; he saved the people and closed the gate.
Nixxin has a headache. He knew Johan did these, but he doesn't have proof. Util said that Johan wasn't at home on Sunday and Monday; he went with his friends to church on Sunday, and he came back on Tuesday, hmmmm... Nixxin opened his eyes; he is inside a car. They're in the middle of the road; the road is empty, and no one lives in these places. It was rainy that day.
Teddy is talking with someone on his phone, while Jayo is sleeping. The driver is an old man; beside him is a teenager, the same age as Nixxin. "Mr. Teddy, where are we going?"
Teddy looks at him. "We're going to investigate in the port."
Nixxin focuses his eyes outside; it was all trees and sky. Nixxin tightly grips his axe beside him; he was unsure of why two people are in the middle of nowhere. Nixxin holds it while looking at the rearview; his eyes meet the teen playing on his phone. He hides the axe in a rush. Nixxin pretends to be seeing nothing and turns his head outside.
Nixxin is standing outside while Jayo and Teddy are waving goodbye at the car. Nixxin stares at it getting away, because he just remember that the axe he has was from them. Jayo and Teddy go away, and Nixxin runs to catch up. The sidewalk is just grass; it has houses beside it, but most of it obviously doesn't have anyone inside.
After an hour, they meet the port, there's many ships in the dock, it was amazing and gigantic, Nixxin can't stop looking at those ships, while Jayo is talking to a captain, who was said to go to the church, Jayo ask the captain sitting in the chair, "Excuse me sir. I am a hero, I'm just here to investigate you."
The captain looks at him, "I didn't do anything to the church."
Jayo sit down at the chair a crew give him, "Oh yeah, but have you have suspicious.... Ahhh... A suspicious passenger."
The captain looks around and close his head to Jayo's ear, the captain was very worried, and his heart is racing, "Nothing." And the captain sit back at his chair.
Teddy sit down on the chair near him, "Captain, do you know man named Johan?", the captain looks at Teddy.
Rhe captain took out a list under his table, "There's two Johan that my ship served."
Jayo stand up, and slams his hand in table, almost destroying it, the feet of table is creaking, while the floor got destroyed, "So where's this Johan?"
The captain was chill, he relax his back at the chair and ask Jayo, "Which one? The first Johan or the second Johan?"
Jayo looks at the list, "The first?"
The captain smiles and said, "I don't have his information."
Jayo hold tight at the end of the table and break it, and he smiles as the same as the captain, "What about the other Johan?"
The captain put his feet at the table, "I also don't have his information."
Jayo put his arm in his jacket, "Then why didn't you just say it that you don't have anything to them?"
The captain put his arm at the back of his head, "Because there's specific things they have that makes them very different."
Jayo put his arm back at the table, "So, are they with someone?"
The captain smiles and ask again, "Which one?"
Jayo put his arm at the jacket and pull out his gun, "Just be direct and stop asking stupid question."
The captain's crews point their gun at Jayo and Teddy, Teddy tried to calms Jayo, to lower the tension at the room, the crews put their gun back.
Nixxin opened the door and when the owner sees him, the captain fix his posture, "Just leave already."
Nixxin walks close, "I'm sorry but we can't stop our investigation."
The captain stand up, "Johan Santana he is a illegal weapon dealer, and another is a young man named Hube, that kid is a investigator he discover that Santana do that job... Now please leave, and that's all the information I know."
The three of them was kick out of the room, they're standing in walk side, near the shore, many people are taking pictures at the ships, eating their foods at restaurants near, there's many horses and carriages in the road, the city was busy and alive, but they have to leave to know where that Johan Santana live.
Nixxin ordered spicy chicken pastil for everyone, so they can eat while walking, Nixxin looks at his pastil, "Are we going to look for public records?" Jayo looks at Nixxin, "But we doesn't know where that guy live, if we spent our time in searching to a city he doesn't live, we will just spent allot of time for nothing."
While Teddy is walking and eating beside Jayo, he sees a kid running getting close, the is getting closer, and Teddy sees something at his pocket, Teddy grabs the kid to his shirt and took out a gun at the kid's pocket, "Kid, where did you get this?"
The kid force to get the gun back, but he can't reach it, officers come closer, they look at the officer, "I'm sorry for this inconvenience, but we have to get that child now."
The kid become more resistance and forcing to break out, Teddy gives the kid to the officers, they put a handcuffs on him, and put the gun on a plastic.
