"So, I am also a Dragon Dreamer?"

"Impressive."

Viserys recalled the vivid dragon dream from just now; the two dragons in the dream were lifelike, as if their souls were intertwined.

A golden dragon and a black dragon, both with molten lava-like red eyes.

Dragon dreams were not that rare in the House Targaryen; they seemed to occur randomly.

They weren't limited by gender, strength, cruelty, or mercy, but by bloodline.

Dreamwalkers, Maester Aemon, Daeron the Drunkard, Aerion Brightflame, and even the sons of Blackfyre had dreamed them.

The King of the Commons might have dreamed them too. It was just that some people's dragon dreams were more vivid than others.

Unlike other talents, a dragon dream could be said to be a double-edged sword.

Many Targaryens became obsessively infatuated with dragon dreams, eventually truly going mad.

Such was prophecy; it was a malicious joke. Misinterpretation often led to wrong outcomes, and omens of the future were never consistent.

Dragon dreams were passed down through generations along with the blood of the True Dragon, haunting one Targaryen after another. Maester Aemon believed that dragon dreams had caused the deaths of his brothers.

Viserys suspected that Rhaegar and Aerys might have had dragon dreams as well, given how crazily they both acted.

In the era of Old Valyria, the House Targaryen already possessed the heritage of dragon dreams. However, at that time, this skill was not highly regarded by other Dragonlord Families.

After all, other Dragonlords mastered the true magic of blood and fire, whose power could be demonstrated immediately.

The fire magic of the Fire Party and the Blood Magic of the Blood Cult—blood zombies, genetically modified monsters—were all instantaneous weapons of violence with immense lethality, delivering immediate retribution.

The Targaryen dream prophecies were cryptic and mystical; other Dragonlords truly looked down on them.

[Fate Reverser Viserys.Targaryen, you have obtained the ancient heritage within your bloodline, gained the talent True Dragon's Dream, and activated the class Dragon Dreamer. Strength increased →, Speed increased →, Fortitude increased →, Spirit increased →.]

A translucent, metallic-colored notification from the system scrolled past; these were Viserys's new talent and class.

This talent was not a reward; it was more like something derived from his family and bloodline.

[Talent (True Dragon's Dream): Coexists with the blood of the True Dragon, prophesying a glimpse of the future. Dreams are often related to dragons, but not exclusively...]

[Class Obtained: Dragon Dreamer (Entry), descendant of the Dreamwalkers, heir to the ancient Targaryen bloodline. Prophecy is a woman as cold and heartless as she is passionate and fiery, appearing and disappearing at will.]

Viserys was the Fate Reverser; his reversed fate could even interfere with the judgments of other sorcerers.

Thus, his dragon dream prophecies would be few, but one or two would occasionally occur, foretelling the future.

Viserys immediately rose from his bed and went to the fossilized dragon eggs in the brazier.

The brazier and the volcano-like dragon nest were close together.

Viserys looked at the largest of the three fossilized dragon eggs from Pentos, his fingers gently sliding across the black-and-red shell.

It was both black and red, just like the dragon in Viserys's dream. Once hatched, this dragon would indeed be black and red.

"Could it be that I can ride two dragons, just like my Twin Magic, by stacking souls?" Viserys thought. Riding didn't necessarily mean controlling both equally; it was more likely one primary and one secondary.

He could only wait until the new dragon hatched and the Blood-weeping longsword arrived.

Viserys felt a sense of heat beneath the shell; perhaps it was slowly absorbing fire and heat.

With too many threats and a chaotic situation, Viserys had to fully arm himself.

Viserysburg seemed solid, but to the arrogant Dothraki, it was still a massive temptation.

Just as the dothraki had destroyed the many kingdoms of the Tall Men years ago.

The many formations Viserys set up were standard war plans: using the fortress as a shield wall, a counter-move after exhaustion, the shield and the anvil.

Viserys had prepared some wildfire, but its production was too low. Without the stockpiles of King's Landing, the explosive effect would not be as intense. Throughout King's Landing, there were at least hundreds or thousands of jars.

As his trump card for the war, Viserys chose Sunfyre's assault.

But the dragon was not old, so this battle had to be fast and ruthless.

Everyone feared large dragons, but it was different for smaller dragons.

The larger the dragon, the hotter its fire and the harder its scales. Going into battle with Sunfyre still carried a certain amount of risk.

In history, there were many instances of small dragons dying suddenly; the smallest to die was the size of a warhorse, and there were larger ones too.

Stormcloud's belly was pierced by countless arrows, and a bolt went through its neck. Though Moondancer was fast, it was bitten to death by the crippled Sunfyre.

Even the slightly larger Vermax, because it flew too low, met its end after a thrown grapnel became embedded in its wing.

"These dragons aren't fast enough, and certainly not ruthless enough... To win, I need a new method."

Viserys wiped the Ring of Fire in his hand; the ring truly felt scorching.

Besides personal effort, one should also take shortcuts when available.

Viserys opened the ring's space; inside were still quite a few treasures, including the set of weapons he had collected.

Gold, silver, and various gems that originally belonged to Orryon, some ancient Valyrian books, and even some clothes and sundries that were once very popular among the Valyrian upper class, now decayed by time.

There was also a luxurious snow-bear skin military tent supported by dragonbone, with two massive dragon horns atop it. The purple gems embedded in them ensured the tent remained in its original state.

Inside the tent were expensive clothes made from what might be firewyrm skin, Unicorn skin, giant snake, snake-lizard, mammoth, or Rhoyne River giant fish skin, and kraken skin, which could still be used. They were inlaid with exquisite flame patterns and purple gems.

These decorations could still fetch an expensive price today.

Viserys naturally liked gold and wealth, but after taking some of House Lannister's gold reserves, he was currently quite well-off.

What Viserys lacked most were things like texts and books.

The ancient Valyrian Dragonlords did not use whips to train dragons, but horns and Binding Spells; these things were truly priceless treasures.

Viserys glanced through all the books; the ones that interested him most were "The Travels of Jaenara Belaerys" and "The Conquest of the Dragonlords."

Jaenara Belaerys was a Valyrian dragonrider.

She rode the dragon Terrax south over Sothoryos, flying further south than anyone else. However, she still did not find the end of Sothoryos, seeing only endless rainforests, deserts, and mountains.

The other book likely recounted the glorious conquests of the Dragonlords and the wars involved.

What surprised Viserys most were two black glass steles, dark as new, yet completely blank.

Viserys looked at the steles, which were likely made of obsidian and could probably record content.

One had a flame-like texture, while the other had a texture like a blacksmith's hammer and axe.

Viserys felt that one might represent fire and the other the craftsman.

Viserys carefully gathered Fire Elements; as the flames passed over the obsidian stele, faint movements of a person began to appear on it.

"Binding Spells... Binding Spells are divided into the Heart Spell, the Blood Spell, the Fire Spell, the Sky Spell..."
