Time flowed as usual, and it was once again time for the annual start of the school year at Hogwarts. The air in London was filled with the unique slight chill and bustle of early autumn.

Outside King's Cross Station, the crowds were like a woven tapestry.

At the boundary between magic and reality, it was as lively as ever.

A car with sleek lines and paint that shimmered with a low-key luster under the autumn sun glided smoothly toward a relatively secluded roadside near the station and stopped.

In the driver's seat, Dodo let go of the steering wheel, its voice breaking the silence inside the car:

"Master, we've arrived at the station. Dodo reminds you that it's time to get out. Even if you want to continue your beautiful dream of 'catching big fish,' I suggest you wait until you reach Hogwarts and lie on your dormitory bed to do it; you're less likely to catch a cold that way."

In the back seat, Lynn, who had been resting with his eyes closed, was accurately "pricked" awake by Dodo's words. He immediately pointed at Dodo with a Husky-style finger jab.

"Have I never caught one before?" Lynn tried to argue back.

"If Master is referring to a bunch of small fish that aren't even as big as your palm... then consider that Dodo said nothing."

Lynn was momentarily speechless from being choked up, and he decided not to lower himself to Dodo's level. He let out a resentful snort and pushed open the car door to get out without another word.

However, just as he steadied himself on the roadside and before he could even sample the air quality, the hair on the back of his neck suddenly stood on end.

"Beep beep beep—!!!!"

A sharp, piercing car horn approached at an alarming speed.

Lynn turned his head sharply and saw a dark blue sedan that looked somewhat aged hurtling toward the intersection where he stood in a terrifying manner, trailing sparks and lightning all the way.

And by "sparks and lightning," he meant it literally.

The car's front tires had somehow completely fallen off and disappeared, leaving only the bare metal hubs.

At that moment, the hubs were grinding frantically against the rough road surface at high speed, bursting with a continuous stream of orange-red sparks.

"Holy crap!"

There was no time to think about how the car had ended up like this; his body reacted before his brain. He pushed off with his legs and hurriedly dodged!

Sizzle sizzle sizzle~ Bang!!!

A dull and solid sound of impact rang out!

The driver of the sedan seemed to be trying their best to avoid Lynn, but the out-of-control vehicle and the front wheels consisting only of hubs made steering extremely clumsy.

It failed to avoid him completely, and the right side of the car's front slammed solidly into the left side mirror of Lynn's beloved car.

And that dark blue sedan, after completing this "startling collision," continued sliding forward crookedly under its remaining inertia.

Immediately after, the car fishtailed into a U-turn.

"Screeeech—!!!!"

An even more piercing grinding sound rang out, accompanied by the stench of instantly burning rubber.

The rear tires finally buckled under the intense stress and, like the front tires, were instantly stripped away. Only the rear hubs remained in close contact with the ground, scraping out two even more spectacular trails of sparks!

"Bang!!!"

Another loud crash followed as the rear hubs slammed hard against the curb. The car jolted violently, finally losing all power and balance completely. It slid forward a short distance more before coming to a shaky stop.

Wisps of blue smoke rose from the front of the car, and the four bare hubs reflected an awkward light in the sun.

Lynn stood where he was, looked at his own car—which had been glamorous just a moment ago but was now missing a side mirror—and then looked at the smoking, wheel-less vehicle in the distance. A surge of anger flared up within him.

"This is outrageous..." Lynn ground his back teeth and strode toward the sedan slumped by the roadside.

He reached the driver's side, curled his fingers, and knocked hard on the window glass, making a dull "thump-thump-thump" sound.

"Hey! You inside! I don't care who you are, whether it's drunk driving or being possessed by a Troll... now, immediately, right now, get out of the car for me! We need to have a good 'talk' about compensation for my side mirror."

The door lock popped open with a "click," and then the door was pushed open somewhat flusteredly from the inside.

A figure stepped out.

The first thing that caught Lynn's eye was a head of bright, eye-catching pink short hair, styled in a somewhat messy fashion.

Then came the face of a young woman who looked to be in her twenties, wearing Wizard robes with a slightly exaggerated style.

"I'm sorry! I'm sorry! I am really, really sorry!"

The pink-haired woman bowed repeatedly to Lynn as soon as she got out of the car. "I didn't do it on purpose! Really! The car suddenly went out of control! The tires... I don't know how they just... I swear I usually drive very steadily! Oh, Merlin, your car..."

Looking at the woman's sincere attitude, Lynn's full-blown anger couldn't help but stall for a moment.

Who is this? From the Ministry of Magic? Doesn't look like it. A patient who escaped from St Mungo's? That's possible.

"No..." Lynn frowned, sizing her up. "Stop apologizing for a second. Who are you? What exactly is going on? You..."

Before he could finish his question, the rear door of the car was also pushed open.

A familiar figure wobbled out from the back seat.

"Harry? Why are you in the car too? This... what's going on?" He looked at the shaken Harry, then at the pink-haired woman who was still constantly apologizing, and the confusion in his heart reached its peak.

Harry Potter, slumped on the ground, took several deep breaths before he managed to suppress the churning in his stomach and calm his racing heart.

He straightened his glasses, looked up at Lynn, and a bitter smile appeared on his face. His voice was still a bit weak:

"Lynn... cough, it's a long story. This is..." He pointed to the pink-haired woman. "Nymphadora Tonks, but she wants me to call her Tonks. She's from the Ministry of Magic's Auror Office."

Lynn:???

"An Auror? Sent for what? To escort you to school?"

Harry nodded and then shook his head. "She's here to take me to school. I don't know exactly why.

After the World Cup, she suddenly found me, showed her Ministry of Magic ID, and said that from today until I safely arrive at Hogwarts and my 'situation is stable,' she is responsible for my 'off-campus personal safety.'

I asked her why, and she said she didn't know either, only that it was a directive issued by the Ministry of Magic."

Harry glanced with lingering fear at the sedan emitting blue smoke and continued explaining:

"Halfway through the drive, something suddenly went wrong. The car went out of control, the hubs scraped the ground and sparked everywhere. Tonks even tried to use magic to stabilize it, but it seemed to interfere with something instead, causing electrical sparks to fly all over the place... and finally, it ended up like this."

Harry spread his hands with an innocent look.

Lynn rubbed his chin and thought for a while.

He seemed to understand what was going on.

This should be the Ministry of Magic's overreaction and panic after learning that high-ranking officials like Barty Crouch had been controlled by the Imperius Curse.

They were afraid that if anything happened to Harry Potter, the "Savior," it would trigger a massive political disaster, so they directly assigned additional protection measures for Harry.
