Unlike other landmasses still attached to the surface of Argus, MacAree is a floating island that is only barely suspended by Argus' gravity and has not been thrown into space.
Unlike Krokuun and Antoran Wastes, which are completely corrupted by Fel Energy, MacAree is not the core base of the Burning Legion, and most of its landscape remains unchanged.
MacAree was once the center of the Eredar civilization, holding a similar position to Mount Hyjal, the core region of the Night Elf Republic.
Tens of thousands of years of abandonment have not completely destroyed Eredar's sturdy architecture; numerous unique ancient architectural ruins are scattered throughout the floating islands.
Andreas, Akama, and others landed at the southern part of the MacAree floating island.
After purifying the large number of ghosts in the plaza, Akama, Yrel, and others used the remaining buildings near the plaza to build a frontline base on the spot.
Andreas searched his revived memories and roughly found the MacAree map he had recorded every day when he was doing his daily routine.
The entire floating island area can be roughly divided into five important areas. The plaza where Andreas and others are now located is referred to by the Burning Legion as the end of the ruling group.
This place was once the site of a fierce civil war between Draenei and Eredar, who had sided with the demons. Countless ghosts roamed around the vicinity of the ruling council, radiating outwards from the plaza.
Andreas' decisive and large-scale purification drew complaints from the sisters Yrel and Samara, who believed that this crude method was very unfriendly to the local Draenei spirits.
Andreas remained noncommittal, after all, these so-called heroic souls were not his compatriots.
After setting up camp at the end of the ruling group, Priestess Draenei, guided by Samara, patiently communicated with the nearby spirits, gently helping them find release by fulfilling their obsessions.
Aside from the last of the ruling group, MacAree floating islands have four other relatively important areas.
Northwest of the end of the ruling council lies the ruins of a village called Oronar. Andreas recalls that in the game, a strange quest from a Broken One can be received here, leading to the uncovering of the Void forces of MacAree.
Further north of the ruins of Oronar lies a land completely occupied by the forces of the Void, whose power has permeated the earth, turning the entire map into an eerie purple.
The Void Creatures, primarily composed of corrupt Ethereals, have seized control of this territory, and their influence extends even as far as the central Seat of the Council.
The western half of MacAree is under the control of the Void forces, while the eastern half is relatively peaceful, with the wraiths of Eredar dominating the region.
Velen mentioned that one of the Enlightenment Camps and the Laurel of Knowledge is located in the Eastern Hemisphere.
To the north of the plaza at the end of the ruling group lies a vast garden area, which was once the green belt surrounding the political center of Eredar. A small number of Burning Legion members were stationed at the northernmost end of the garden, near the edge of the floating island.
"If I were an Army of the Light" " Commander, we can first rule out the western half of the region that is completely controlled by the Void forces."
In the main underground building of the plaza camp, Andreas analyzed the map he had just drawn for Akama, Yrel, and others.
"The forces of light and shadow are mutually reinforcing and mutually restraining. Once the Army of the Light enters the territory of the Void forces, it will be as dazzling as a firefly in the dark. I don't think the Void forces will be completely unresponsive to it."
Andreas secretly arranged for Prisim to explore the Void Invasion Zone in northwestern MacAree. Although they only wandered around the perimeter a few times, Little Red Riding Hood was basically certain that the Army of the Light had not entered this area, otherwise the Void forces would have been in an uproar long ago.
"Similarly, the area in the north of the garden controlled by the Burning Legion can also be ruled out, which means..."
Andreas pointed his finger at the core of the eastern half of the region—the Mystic Academy.
Akama thoughtfully stroked the fleshy beard on his chin. "The Mystic Academy, that name has left a deep mark on Draenei's history."
"The Academy of Mysteries was once the academic and magical research center of Eredar, managed by Archimonde, the chief scholar and one of the ruling council members. Every year, it provided a large number of academic achievements to the Eredar civilization and cultivated many outstanding scholars."
In Eredar terminology, Scholar is equivalent to Arcanist; together with Defender and Priest, they form the three pillars of the Eredar civilization.
These three pillars are each led by one of the three ruling council members: Scholar is under the administration of Archimonde, Defender is under the administration of Kiljaeden, and Velen leads the priesthood that believes in the Holy Light and Naaru.
Eredar is undoubtedly a race with great potential, Mother of Light Xera began paying attention to them many years ago and gradually spread the faith in the Holy Light to the Eredar civilization.
Naaru is of great importance to Eredar; among the three pillars, the priesthood that serves Naaru holds the highest position.
Eredar, through the knowledge bestowed upon them by Naaru and their own spirit of exploration towards the unknown, developed a magnificent and awe-inspiring civilization.
They have unique insights into technology and Arcane research, and have even been able to explore the universe by leaving their home planet with their self-built spaceships.
But this race with boundless potential was unfortunately killed by the Fallen Titans. Sargeras set his sights on them, and under the persistent persuasion of Sargeras, who was disguised as a noble bronze Titan, he finally convinced Kiljaeden and Archimonde to surrender.
Velen sensed an uneasy atmosphere from Sargeras' persuasion and secretly remained wary of the conditions he offered.
Ultimately, the three-man ruling group parted ways due to ideological differences. Sargeras promised to lead the legion to conquer the universe and witness unprecedented power, while most of the Eredar followed Kiljaeden and Archimonde to join the Burning Legion.
Velen led a portion of her people who were unwilling to embark on the path of ruthless conquest to escape. With Naaru's help, they left their home planet Argus and began their journey in exile.
From then on they called themselves Draenei, a word that means exile in the Eredar language.
"My scouts have already conducted a secret exploration of the Mystic Academy."
Andreas circled the location of the Arcane Academy on the map. "There are faint signs that the ghosts here have been cleared out. If I'm not mistaken, the flagship of the Army of the Light should be hiding nearby."
Akama nodded and said, "Then let's make the Mystic Academy our main target for exploration. The battle on the front lines is still ongoing, and we must make contact with the Army of the Light as soon as possible. They should have a lot of important intelligence."
"Then let's take action."
Andreas clapped his hands and said, " Yrel, Samara, when there is enough time, your inefficient purification method of settling the ghosts' obsessions is barely acceptable."
"But now is not the time for you to indulge your fantasies of justice. If any part of the plan breaks down due to slow action, the entire Expeditionary Force could be destroyed in Argus."
Andreas looked sternly at the two sisters, whose expressions were somewhat conflicted. "Remember, the ghosts here are ultimately just incomplete remnants of their thoughts. No matter how much affection you give them, you will not get anything in return."
"I hope you can correct your attitude and not ruin the overall situation because of a momentary soft heart."
The current front line, Antoran Wastes, is the main base of the Burning Legion. Jarod's fleet is making a difficult advance, and countless Legion defenders are firmly guarding the route to Burning Throne.
As the Legion's stronghold and the homeland of Eredar, a large number of high-tech Eredar weapons modified with Fel Energy are installed in various Legion camps in Antoran Wastes.
Due to the planet's gravity, the battleship-class starships led by the Expeditionary Force flagship Enterprise were unable to enter Argus to fight. This main fleet, led by Tyrande, remained on the outskirts of Argus to block the returning legions from other planets.
Jarod led the smaller destroyers and cruisers into the atmosphere, engaging in fierce firefights with Antoran Wastes' heavily armed, hedgehog-like defenses.
The divine-level defensive barrier that Sargeras set up outside Burning Throne eliminated any possibility of Andreas and Azshara launching a solo assault.
As the coalition forces slowly advance their lines, they need more intelligence, ideally to find weaknesses in the legion's defensive network.
As former commanders of the Burning Legion and enemies considered thorns in the Legion's side, Kiljaeden and the Army of the Light are undoubtedly the two forces that know the Burning Legion best.
With no breakthroughs possible at the front lines, the special operations forces led by Andreas and Azshara became particularly important.
The Yrel and Samara sisters have gone through many trials and tribulations, and they have matured a lot compared to when Andreas first met them.
However, in the relatively idealistic society of Draenei, the two still retained some girlish innocence. As long as it did not affect the overall situation, Andreas did not mind fulfilling their fantasies, but now was obviously not the right time.
Watching Andreas lead Aurora away, Akama patted Yrel on the shoulder and cheerfully comforted him, "Don't worry about it. Speaker Moonshadow was just stating the facts and didn't have any objection to your kindness."
Yrel rubbed her cheeks with both hands and nodded firmly, saying, "I know. After all, we're not little girls anymore. I will complete the mission according to orders."
Samara opened her mouth as if she wanted to say something, but in the end she just sighed softly, "I will also appease the priests."
Just as the intelligence gathered by the scouts revealed, there were indeed a large number of unconscious ghosts remaining near the Mystic Academy, who would instinctively attack any outsiders who entered their territory.
Andreas, who was at the forefront, purified the ghosts without hesitation, and the shrill screams echoed throughout the square in front of the academy.
Andreas personally investigated and found that the main structure of the Mystic Academy was still intact, but it was completely empty.
There are no demons, no Void Creatures, and no ghosts that should be gathered here.
"Do we really have to go through that ridiculous exam process to activate Archimonde's Trial and obtain the Enlightenment Mark?"
Retrieving the Enlightenment Mark and the Crown of Knowledge was just a side effect. Andreas hesitated slightly before temporarily setting aside the idea and continued to hover above the Arcane Academy in his griffin form, carrying Aurora.
" Aurora, have you detected anything unusual?"
Aurora formed a spellcasting gesture with her hands, carefully scanning the surrounding area for unusual energy movements using probing spells.
"Strange, apart from the energy fluctuations when Draenei fought the ghost, there's nothing unusual."
Akama's Defender Legion is breaking through the barrier of a large number of ghosts, and the priests led by Samara are using holy light spells to forcibly purify these irrational spirits with tense expressions.
The commotion caused by Draenei's battle with the ghosts did not attract the attention of the Army of the Light, and no matter how much Aurora explored, she could not find anything.
"Isn't that being overly cautious...?"
In the northeast corner of the Mystic Academy, Andreas suddenly spotted a small, solitary floating island.
" Aurora, check over there."
Compared to MacAree, where golden weeds still grow, this floating island looks much more desolate. Since most of its land is directly exposed to space, nothing grows on the ground, and the severely damaged ruins of the Eredar buildings are everywhere.
As Andreas flapped its wings and left the main island of MacAree, Aurora clearly felt the air nearby becoming increasingly thin.
Andreas flapped his wings to cast a protective shield for his daughter.
"Hurry up. The environment here is not suitable for Mortal to stay for a long time. The energy radiation in the universe will have unknown effects on your body."
Aurora nodded solemnly, focusing intently on spreading her exploration spell.
"Got it!"
With her eyes tightly closed, Aurora suddenly turned to look at the center of the small floating island. "There are some traces of illusion magic. Dad, it's up to you now."
"Um."
Andreas' transformed griffin-like golden eyes flashed, and under the sudden, wide-area energy impact, the desolate little floating island began to slowly disintegrate amidst violent tremors.
"boom!"
A thick beam of light suddenly shot out from the empty floating island in sight, aimed directly at Andreas and Aurora in mid-air.
With his wings spread wide and flapping powerfully, Andreas narrowly avoided the direct hit range of the beam attack.
As the Holy Light Energy Cannon fired, a radiant medium-sized spaceship suddenly appeared above the floating island.
As the spaceship started to prepare for evacuation, the golden crystal at the front of the hull emitted a blinding light again, and another energy cannon shot was fired at Andreas.
"Will this ever end...?"
If Andreas hadn't been carrying Aurora on his back, he could have easily forced his way onto the spaceship despite the attack.
The ship that suddenly launched its attack like a startled bird should be the Zeals Ark, the last remaining flagship of the Army of the Light.
Andreas never expected them to be so sensitive, resorting to using a cannon to kill a mosquito, bombarding a small griffin with his main cannon.
Amidst a sky full of golden beams of light, the griffin skillfully dodged, gradually approaching the lower part of the spaceship with its superior maneuverability.
Aurora excitedly patted her dad on the back, giving random directions, "Left! No, right!"
Andreas rolled her eyes mid-flight. "You're still so daring, girl..."
"Hmph~"
Aurora proudly puffed out her chest without a hint of shame, "Who told me to have such extraordinary parents? I guess I inherited your excellent genes."
Andreas had already analyzed the general structure of the spaceship with his divine sense. When he arrived at a small exhaust duct on the Zeals Ark, which was covered with a lot of golden crystals, Andreas quickly transformed back into human form.
"Hold on tight!"
He carried Aurora in a princess carry as they rushed into the exhaust vent, continuing through the spaceship amidst his daughter's excited screams, until they finally broke through an exhaust filter and stood steadily inside the spaceship.
The Draenei technicians around them were speechless with astonishment; they had never imagined that the enemy would infiltrate the spaceship in this way.
"Don't get agitated."
Seeing that the technicians were about to raise their wrenches and pliers to attack, Andreas' eyes flashed and he immediately restrained their bodies.
"We have no ill intentions, nor are we from Burning Legion or the Void side."
"Please send a representative to inform Xera that Andreas, leader of Azeroth Allied Forces, has important matters to discuss with the Army of the Light."
Having just suffered a crushing defeat, the Army of the Light is on high alert.
They were well aware that they were a thorn in the side of the Burning Legion, and they did not let their guard down for a moment, even while they were recuperating.
Andreas ' aggressive behavior prompted the flock of frightened birds to launch an attack, but to their surprise, this seemingly insignificant bird was exceptionally agile, and the powerful main cannon could not hit it at all.
Andreas released his grip on one of the technicians, who collapsed to the ground, her legs weak, after being freed from her restraints.
After a moment, he stood up with trembling legs. Judging from the terrifying aura emanating from the other party, this "enemy" who had broken into the warship was clearly not someone that non-combatants like them could defeat.
Watching the stumbling Draenei technician run upstairs, Andreas put his daughter down, and the two of them casually sat on a row of pipes of unknown purpose.
A few minutes later, a soft, singing female voice suddenly appeared in their minds.
" Guests from Azeroth, please forgive our rudeness. Please follow Tramon to the bridge for a chat."
As this mysterious voice rang out, a Draenei with the lower half of her face covered by a mask walked out from the upper level of the spaceship.
This Draenei looks different from the Draenei that Andreas has seen before.
In Draeni culture, the Naaru mark that floats above the forehead represents the blessing of Naaru.
As far as Andreas knows, ordinary Draenei, apart from Velen, do not have the Naaru mark.
However, this faceless Draenei has a striking golden Naaru mark floating on his forehead, and his eyes are an eerie pure gold.
This gold color is completely different from Andreas' golden eyes.
Andreas' eyes are only gold in color, but the outline of the pupils is still very clear.
But Draenei's entire eye was bathed in a golden, holy light, with no trace of pupils visible at all.
The strange Draenei, carrying a Draenei- style greatsword, politely bowed to Andreas and Aurora. "Honorable guests, I am Tramon, the swordsman of the Army of the Light. Mother of the Light sent me to guide you."
The Draenei was speaking very broken Titan language, and Aurora almost burst out laughing on the spot. She barely managed to stop herself from laughing by pinching her hand.
Andreas was much calmer in comparison. He greeted the other party in fluent Draenei, "Achal hecta (Good day), thank you for your trouble, Mr. Tramon."
"Forehead..."
Tramon's eye twitched noticeably. Although his expression under the mask couldn't be seen, one could imagine how embarrassed the swordsman was.
...
Golden holy light shimmered everywhere inside the Zeals Ark, bathing the entire spaceship in its glow.
As Andreas followed Tramon to the bridge, he saw many Draeni who shared similar features with Tramon.
With golden eyes of holy light, Naaru marks of varying colors floating in front of her forehead, and even some of Draeni's hair shimmering with a faint golden light, she seemed to be made entirely of holy light.
Having just suffered a defeat, these Draenei were bandaged to varying degrees, but their spirits remained high as they scrutinized the passing Andreas and Aurora with a critical eye.
'These must be the legendary Lightforged Draenei,' right?
The Lightforged Draenei are powerful warriors unique to the Army of the Light. Through extremely rigorous rituals, Xera forces the Draenei to confront their most vulnerable points, overcome them, and gain a pure heart that yearns for the Holy Light.
From a physiological perspective, the photoformed Draenei is no longer considered Mortal.
Their bodies are filled with powerful holy light, which makes them live longer than ordinary Draenei and have much higher combat power. They are special individuals specially modified for combat.
The success rate of the Lightforging Ceremony is extremely low. Many participants perish during the ceremony, and only the true elites can successfully pass all the trials.
'I remember Turalyon was in the Army of the Light, wasn't he? Why didn't Xera send him to greet us?'
With doubts in their hearts, Andreas and Aurora followed Tramon to the bridge where Xera was located.
Known as the Mother of Light, Xera was among the first Naaru born during the cosmic order period and holds a high position among the Naaru.
Andreas could sense that her power was far greater than that of an ordinary Naaru, even the strongest Naaru he had ever seen. Adal is also inferior to Xera in many ways.
Xera hovered in a platform specially prepared for her, her radiant holy light shining directly through the top of the spaceship.
Through the specially designed spaceship Zeals Ark, the energy naturally emitted by Xera is not wasted like that of Adal, but is instead transformed into energy to supply Zeals Ark through internal circulation.
"Welcome, distinguished guests from Azeroth."
Xera's gentle voice rang out again: "I am Xera, the founder of the Army of the Light."
"Unfamiliar deity, please forgive our impolite and reckless attack."
Tramon, standing beside Xera, was visibly taken aback. "A god?"
"Cough~"
Another woman standing next to Xera, Draenei, coughed lightly and glared at Tramon, warning him with her eyes not to interrupt Xera's conversation with the VIP.
Andreas smiled and bowed with her hand on her chest. "Hello, Mother of Light. I am Andreas, and this is my daughter, Aurora."
Perhaps because he was facing a deity, Xera did not display the toughness and arrogance that Andreas had in mind, and communicated with Andreas very politely.
With the situation on the front lines pressing, Andreas didn't intend to engage in much small talk with Xera. After a routine exchange of pleasantries, he quickly steered the conversation to the main topic.
" Xera, I have come here today to form an alliance with the Army of the Light to fight against the Burning Legion."
Andreas solemnly stated, "I think you should already be aware that Azeroth's army is engaged in fierce fighting with Burning Legion in Antoran Wastes."
" Antoran Wastes ' defenses are very tight, and it will be difficult for us to break through to Burning Throne in a short time. The defensive barrier set up by Sargeras has also blocked my and another god's assault plan."
"If this stalemate continues, the Burning Legion's reinforcements will eventually wear down our army."
"I want to know if the intelligence held by the Army of the Light includes any way for us to bypass the heavily defended front and directly attack Antorus."
Xera's body spun in mid-air, seemingly pondering how to answer Andreas' question.
"Unfortunately, although the Army of the Light has been fighting the Burning Legion for many years, our forces are insufficient to directly attack Antoran Wastes, and we do not know more about this land than you do."
As Andreas looked disappointed, Xera changed the subject, saying, "However, we have indeed studied Sargeras ' defensive barrier."
" Sargeras is unmatched in his absolute control of power, but he is used to a fighting style that involves unleashing power in a wide-ranging and sweeping manner, and his use of power in a subtle way is somewhat rough."
"This defensive barrier was not designed by him personally, but came from the deceiver. " Kiljaeden, Sargeras merely infused power into the blueprint drawn up by Kiljaeden.
"oh?"
A glint flashed in Andreas' eyes. "So, Kiljaeden knows every aspect of the defensive barrier like the back of his hand?"
"That's right."
Xera added, " Kiljaeden's design is inseparable from Eredar's ideas, and many of its designs draw on Eredar's usual barrier construction system."
"If we can use Eredar's artifact to bombard the barrier's weak points, with the infusion of god-level power, we should be able to break through Antorus' defenses smoothly."
" Eredar artifact?"
Andreas paused for a moment, then suddenly slapped his palm. "So that's how it is. No wonder Velen asked us to collect the Enlightenment Imprints and the Laurel of Knowledge."
Velen didn't know this information in advance, but through his prophetic abilities, he glimpsed a key point in the future and vaguely understood that the Mark of Enlightenment and the Laurel of Knowledge were the key items to break through Antorus' defenses.
Eredar's three former governors each possessed an artifact, and when the three artifacts were put together, they became Eredar's most precious treasure: the Governor's Crown.
According to Velen, the Archon's Crown is even close in strength to the Pillars of Creation made by the Titans.
Xera sighed softly and said, "Enlightenment Marks are relatively easy to obtain; they can be acquired simply by completing the trials left behind by Archimonde."
"But after the laurel wreath of knowledge was abandoned by Kiljaeden, it was picked up by the Void forces entrenched in western MacAree and sent to the ruins of the Seat of the Council, where it was taken over by my fallen brethren, Rula."
"I can have members of the Army of the Light lead you through the trials of Archimonde to obtain the Mark of Enlightenment, but the Crown of Knowledge… I'm afraid it can only be seized by force."
Rula is the same Naaru who volunteered to stay behind to cover Velen and Draenei's retreat. The phantom of Naaru that Andreas and the others saw in the Plaza at the end of the ruling council was him.
Xera continued to explain Rula's current situation: " After Draenei successfully evacuated, the critically injured Rula was captured by the enraged Kiljaeden."
" Kiljaeden sent men to drain the Holy Light from his body, sealing Rula in the Seat of the Council, leaving him to degenerate into a terrible Void Creature."
"Over tens of thousands of years, Rula, who became the Dark Naaru, used himself as a beacon to attract countless Void Creatures to MacAree. Now, the entire western part of MacAree has become a paradise for Void Creatures."
Andreas nodded thoughtfully and asked, " Xera, is there any possibility of saving Rura?"
"have."
The light emanating from Xera's tangram body intensified. "If enough holy light can be infused after defeating him, Rura can transform back into the embodiment of holy light."
"However, the energy required to transform Naaru is enormous, and even a Holy Light demigod like Velen cannot complete the transformation independently."
Andreas smiled confidently. "Leave it to me. Although I am not a pure Holy Light deity, converting Rula should not be a problem."
...
When Andreas found the Zeals Ark and reached an agreement with Xera to form an alliance, Akama, Yrel, and others also cleared out all the hostile wraiths near Arcane Academy.
The remaining ghosts did not attack on their own initiative, and after Samara's persuasion, Akama stopped attacking them.
When Andreas returned using the coordinates he had set on Akama beforehand, besides Aurora, he was accompanied by a beautiful, disoriented woman named Draenei.
The blonde Draenei, clad in plate armor, shook her head in anguish. " Naaru, what are those dark beings in the passage?"
Passing through the Shadow Space inevitably means encountering the unknown creatures within. Under Andreas' suppression, these creatures, formed from the power of the Void, dare not attack him. However, this journey through the Shadow Space has greatly frightened the assistants sent by Xera to help them.
Having just suffered a defeat, the Army of the Light needs some time to recover and, incidentally, to find the other members scattered throughout Krokuun.
Andreas wondered if Turalyon was left behind in Krokuun when the Army of the Light was defeated. According to Xera, this archbishop is still leading the remaining members of the Army of the Light in a fierce resistance against the demons' attacks.
Upon learning that another god of Azeroth was leading a detachment to attack Krokuun, Xera saw this as a good opportunity to regroup.
She left behind only one Lightforged Draenei elite to assist Azeroth Allied Forces through the Arcane Academy's trials before piloting the Zeals Ark towards Krokuun.
Andreas patted the woman Draenei's shoulder armor. "Don't worry, I'm here. They won't dare attack you."
"Come, meet your long-lost Draenei compatriots. You will now cooperate with them to pass the trials of Archimonde."
Yrel and the others stared in astonishment at the Naaru mark on the forehead of the woman, Draenei. Even the usually optimistic and cheerful Akama gaped and asked Andreas, " Speaker Moonshadow, who is this?"
With Andreas stepping aside, Lightforged Draenei coughed lightly and stepped forward.
"I am Captain Faria, a member of the Crescent Blade squad of the Army of the Light. It is a pleasure to see you all again, my compatriots, whom I have been separated from for many years."
...
The Arcane Academy's trials are not very difficult, and Andreas does not intend to participate personally.
He left Aurora behind to act with Faria, Akama, and others, while he flew alone through the sky toward the Seat of the Council.
With Aurora's explanation and introduction, Faria, who was also a Draenei, quickly became familiar with her fellow Draenei.
The two sisters, Yrel and Samara, were very interested in this fellow Naaru, and they often clung to Faria, asking her all sorts of questions.
On the other hand, when zeals ark arrived in Krokuun, the land was already engulfed in flames.
The Burning Legion's army, located in the central Annihran Lava Pool, was utterly defeated. The lava pool, filled with green Fel Energy, was evaporated by an unknown force, and the corpses of various types of demons lay scattered around the empty pool.
Tramon watched the scene below in astonishment through the monitor screen. "This... is Azeroth Allied Forces ' flanking force really this strong?"
Xera thought for a moment and explained, "It's probably not what you think."
" Antoran Wastes is under attack from the main force of Azeroth Allied Forces, and Sphella will definitely go back to help with the defense."
"Without the large army she brought, the Burning Legion in Krokuun could only rely on its own strength to defend against Azeroth Allied Forces ' attack."
" Andreas said before that another true god of Azeroth led an attack on Krokuun, and she must have been the one who caused all of this."
Zeals Ark hovered in the air for a while, observing, but failed to find the anti-air Fel Energy cannons that were always present when they came to Krokuun. It seemed that the entire Krokuun was under Azeroth's control. The Expeditionary Force has been eliminated.
The Army of the Light members scattered throughout Krokuun remained silent, and Xera quickly came to a conclusion after a moment's thought.
"Heading directly to Nathrax Fortress, Turalyon and the others must have temporarily joined Azeroth." In the Expeditionary Force's ranks.
When Zeals Ark arrived above the fortress, he saw a beautiful woman named Night Elves attacking the fortress' defensive barrier.
As the prison where Kiljaeden was held, Nathrax Fortress has a very strong defensive barrier. Although it is still far inferior to Antorus, it is not something that can be easily breached.
Under the astonished gaze of the Army of the Light members, the woman, with her alluring figure, appearance, and demeanor, made a gesture of opening something outwards with her hands, one on each side.
The barrier surrounding the fortress also reacted accordingly. A crack was forcibly torn open on the surface of the pale green Fel Energy barrier. As the woman slowly spread her arms wider and wider, the powerful barrier was torn apart and collapsed.
Tramon rubbed his temples in disbelief. "... Are the people of Azeroth all this powerful? Why didn't they launch an expedition against Argus sooner?"
Azshara used his spatial powers to forcibly tear open the barrier, startling not only Tramon on Zeals Ark, but also leaving the Allied forces' temporary allies, who were watching up close, speechless with astonishment.
In the Krokuun campaign, Azshara was mainly responsible for maintaining order and solving difficult problems, while Velen was the real key figure along the way.
The arrangement of Velen to be in charge of the Krokuun front line was not just to persuade Kiljaeden. Argus, as Draenei's hometown, still had many of Velen's "old acquaintances" on this land.
Because of the historical changes brought about by Andreas, although some Draenei who loved the earth began to study the shamanic way under the guidance of Tauren, no Broken Ones ever appeared in the tribe.
The Broken Ones are a subspecies of Draenei. Unlike the Eredar, who voluntarily undergo Fel Energy modification, the Broken Ones are mutated species that are passively contaminated by Fel Energy.
When Velen led his team to land in Krokuun, they were immediately ambushed by the local indigenous people.
When Velen fled Argus, she took most of her people who were unwilling to submit to the will of the Burning Legion with her. However, due to the haste, many Eredar who were willing to resist were forced to remain on their home planet, which had become a stronghold of demons.
The beautiful and bountiful planet Argus has become dilapidated and corrupted due to the Fel Energy pollution of the Burning Legion. Its surface is riddled with pits left by the Fel Energy's erosion, and the environment is no longer suitable for the original Eredar to live in.
Against this backdrop, the remaining Eredar could only struggle to survive, relying on water containing trace amounts of Fel Energy to sustain their lives, and the beasts they hunted also contained some Fel Energy.
Long-term intake of small amounts of Fel Energy gradually causes terrible changes in these Eredar.
Their once upright bodies gradually became hunched over, and their full appearances turned thin and ugly.
These are the Broken Ones who continue to struggle to survive in Argus. Broken Ones with Fel Energy in their bodies can no longer call upon the Holy Light for blessings.
Suffering cruel torment both physically and mentally, many of the broken ones have fallen into a semi-mad state, spending their days in a daze, relying on instinct to hunt and survive.
Some of the Broken were captured by Krokuun's demons while out foraging. Eredar in Burning Legion used these ugly brethren as laborers, dumping the Legion's heavy manual labor on these enslaved Broken.
The survivors, under the leadership of a chieftain, continue to hide throughout Argus, stubbornly enduring the harsh environment filled with Fel Energy.
When Azeroth Allied Forces ' flanking force attacking Krokuun was ambushed, Velen dissuaded Azshara from making a move.
He felt that the leader of the Broken Ones looked somewhat familiar, but he couldn't quite place where he had seen him before.
The complex look in the eyes of the Broken leader as he gazed at him indicated that the other party knew him before. The Broken's eyes simultaneously contained disappointment, resentment, and a deeply hidden hope.
'Tens of thousands of years have passed. Is it really possible that Eredar, who lived in the same era as me, is still alive?'
Velen's extraordinary longevity is not only due to Eredar's innate lifespan, but also to the important role played by Naaru's blessing.
Normal Eredar do n't live for tens of thousands of years. The fact that these Broken Ones in Velen's eyes have survived to this day is largely due to Argus' Twisting Nether property.
After a period of turmoil, with the mediation of the remaining Army of the Light members of Krokuun, the local Broken Ones temporarily suppressed their desire for revenge against Velen.
The leader of this group of Vrykul is named Hatton, a former honorable Eredar priest and one of Velen's most trusted subordinates.
When escaping Argus, Velen vowed to save his people from the temptations of the Burning Legion. Hatton volunteered to stay behind to block Kiljaeden's pursuing forces in order to cover the evacuation of the prophet and his people.
Tens of thousands of years have passed, and the vow that Velen could not keep has gradually transformed into resentment in the hearts of the Broken Ones, whose minds are becoming increasingly twisted.
They hated Velen, the leader who only talked big, and hated their own ugly appearance and twisted mind.
Most broken ones are constantly on the verge of losing control. They must fight against the mind-corroding Fel Energy for a long time, and more or less all of them have some degree of mental distortion.
Velen remained silent for a long time after learning the truth.
Reuniting with an old friend should bring joy, but Velen couldn't smile at all. Instead, he felt heartbroken for the tragic fate of Hatton and the other broken ones, and ashamed of his own cowardice and incompetence.
As the leader of Draenei and a member of Eredar's ruling council, Velen always felt obligated to lead and save his people.
But in reality, under the omnipresent oppression and pursuit of Kiljaeden, he could hardly even protect himself, let alone launch a counterattack against Argus to rescue the people trapped on their home planet.
In retrospect, Hatton and the others had every reason to resent him. Indeed, he had not kept his promise, leaving Hatton and the Broken to struggle for tens of thousands of years in Argus, corrupted by Fel Energy.
Unlike some of the Broken who resigned themselves to the Burning Legion and willingly became enslaved, Hatton's Broken tribe maintained their will to fight against the Burning Legion.
Under the mediation of Archbishop Turalyon of the Army of the Light, Hatton managed to suppress the enraged Broken and temporarily spare Velen.
The farce made Azshara, who was watching from the sidelines, so bored that he kept yawning.
Draenei's internal strife was none of her concern; she only hoped to eliminate the Burning Legion's threat to the entire universe as soon as possible, obtain a relatively peaceful environment for training, and continue to focus on catching up with Elune.
By the way... I'll properly train my little husband.
When the Alliance representatives who accompanied Velen to Krokuun first saw this long-lost Alliance hero, they cheered excitedly.
Not all nations, like the Night Elves and Draenei, have their tribal leaders personally lead their armies into battle. Most of the Alliance and Horde nations choose to send military representatives to command their troops.
The alliance members who followed Velen to Krokuun included Dalaran, the Kingdom of Stormwind, and the Kingdom of Lordaeron, represented by Khadgar, Bolvar, and Tirion, respectively.
Apart from Bolvar, who had relatively little contact with Turalyon, Khadgar and Tirion both had close contact with Turalyon.
Khadgar and Turalyon were both Alliance heroes who participated in the expedition to Draenor. They worked together for a considerable period in the shattered Outland and developed a deep friendship.
Tirion and Turalyon were both among the original Five Horsemen, and they had a lot in common.
The joy of Turalyon's reunion with the Alliance somewhat eased the tense atmosphere between the Broken and Draeni.
Archbishop Adal was a well-known radical in Draenei. Although he was quite dissatisfied with Velen's lukewarm approach in his early years, the prophet had clearly been changing himself step by step since he came into contact with Andreas and Azeroth.
He no longer blindly believed in his precognitive abilities, but instead led his people forward step by step in a down-to-earth manner.
Over the years, Draenei's technological research and development capabilities and living standards have risen sharply. While the efforts of the Council of Bishops are certainly a factor, Prophet Velen's exemplary changes have also played a significant guiding role.
As the spiritual leader of the Draenei tribe, Velen's every move has a significant impact on the Draenei.
The prophet took the lead in changing the previously overly conservative style and worked hard to lead the whole tribe to progress. Draenei naturally followed suit, and the originally stagnant social atmosphere was thus revitalized.
Adal was very dissatisfied with Hatton's blaming of the Prophet for all the mistakes. The terrifying power of the Burning Legion made the Council of Bishops, who were gradually gaining power, deeply aware of the Prophet's earlier inability to cope.
If it weren't for Turalyon mediating, the resentful Osara would have already broken ties with the Broken.
Immersed in the joy of reunion, Turalyon never expected that the tense atmosphere between the two sides along the way would vanish with the "all-out" action of a beautiful Night Elves.
