I'm not claiming all the ideas i will use in this story as mine, maybe they have already been used in a much better way. Conclusion, I'm a novice. I'm not claiming that you will like this story. Hope you give constructive criticism.}

To be fair, when Muzan first thought of multiverse travel, he was expecting some colourful stuff.
You know, like a bumpy bus ride, universes whipping by like roadside trees and a few galactic- or universal-level beings running behind him like street dogs.
Ahem! That scene would have been fantastic. But alas, it's not that grand.
"Hey, system, where am I exactly?" Muzan questioned the system, because right now all he could see was a dark, towering wall.
That wall seemed to be made of writhing black shadows, yet it seemed even darker than the blackest black he knew of.
[Notice: Host, congratulations on your first arrival in the G.A.P.]
"Gap? Is this like the gap between the worlds? Like different universes?" He made an intelligent guess, because what else do you think is a gap while travelling between multiverses?
Of course, he could be wrong.
[Notice: Yes! You are absolutely correct, Host!]
Or maybe not.
G.A.P — Generalized Aetheric Partition
[Notice: The Generalized Aetheric Partition, or the G.A.P, is the interstitial expanse separating discrete universes within the multiversal structure. It is not a void, but a non-aligned substrate where space, time, causality, and physical constants from neighboring universes do not apply.]
[Each universe is self-contained, sealed by its own dimensional membrane, and the G.A.P exists between these membranes as a neutral buffer.]
[It prevents cross-universal interference, stabilizes cosmological boundaries, and functions as a transit medium for entities capable of multiversal traversal without belonging to any single spacetime framework.]
Oooh! I don't understand most of that. But I do understand the general thing.
"So… is it kind of like the empty hallway between sealed rooms, where nothing from one room leaks into the other unless someone opens a door?" he asked, a dumbed-down question.
[Notice: ....yes.]
He could almost feel the stare the system screen was giving him.
"Cough—anyway. So is this like just an open area? Anyone who has the capability can come and go from here whenever they want?"
[Notice: Yes.]
"So nothing's stopping anyone?" he asked more seriously.
"Isn't there like a guardian or anything else that could stop someone from just invading other universes?"
[Notice: Yes, Host. The G.A.P is no one's property and can be used by whomever wants to use it.]
That's,
[Notice: However, that does not mean invasion between universes is a common occurrence.]
[Because the G.A.P isn't governed by a ruler but by its structure.]
"Structure?" While he already had a small idea of what it might be, he still asked.
"Can you explain?"
[Notice: Certainly.]
[The Generalized Aetheric Partition exists in a pre-causal state. Universes aren't just floating in it openly; they're wrapped in self-correcting dimensional membranes that reject foreign existence signatures.]
[Think of each universe as having a unique "frequency" composed of its constants, laws, and causal identity. Anything that doesn't match that signature is unable to enter or ground itself in that reality.]
[When an external entity tries to force entry without alignment, the membrane doesn't "fight" them; it simply fails to recognize them as something that can exist inside, and so they simply phase out or get infinitely displaced back into the G.A.P.]
"Aah! So invasion isn't blocked by authority. It's blocked by incompatibility!" Muzan had an enlightened expression.
"And what about me?"
[Notice: Host has the Multiverse Travel System. Think of it as having a Hunter License in the HXH world.]
[The Host can access 70% of the universes that currently exist.]
"And what about the other 30%?" he asked.
He didn't want to sound greedy, but he did want to have clear details before stepping onto this journey. He wasn't reckless and stupid; that's a dangerous combination only some can pull off.
[Notice: Host currently has a very low level of authority and cannot access those worlds.]
'I see, so as long as I have enough authority, I have the full pass to travel all over the multiverse. Cool.' He thought to himself.
"Alright! I'm ready for travel!" he said to the system.
He could barely control himself; the excitement of going all over the different worlds and experiencing new things was too much!
[Notice: Understood. Initiating launch.]
"Huh?" He controlled his excitement; a small bad premonition scratched at his mind.
"What do you mea-!" However, before he could ask the system for clarification, he was suddenly thrown.
Yes. THROWN.
Travelling billions of light-years in the millionth of a second had the convenient effect of making anyone dizzy enough to go unconscious. That is, of course, also with the protection layer of the system.
Otherwise?
Extermination.
[Notice: The Multiverse Travel System wishes its Host a wonderful journey.]
"aaaaahh!" A dying pig like squeal escaped his mouth before he was comfortably pushed into unconsciousness.
