Chapter 51 — Trembling Return

Nameless's legs trembled as he stood, unused to movement after so long, the blood flow returning like a storm through dried rivers.

Each step felt heavy, unstable, yet strangely alive, as if the body itself was relearning its forgotten purpose.

His wife's daily care had not gone to waste, and that alone allowed him to stand without collapsing instantly.

Still, his knees shook, betraying the weakness hidden beneath his terrifying soul.

At that exact moment, a phone began to ring.

The sound was unfamiliar to his instincts, yet familiar to the memories of this body.

His daughter ran quickly and picked it up, holding it awkwardly with both hands.

Krishna walked slowly toward her, each step measured, each breath controlled so he would not fall.

She was about to shout in excitement that he could walk, but he gently took the phone before she could speak.

Switching instantly into his childish tone, he said softly,

"Are you okay? When you come, bring me candy, okay? Me and my little friend want sweets… lots of sweets."

On the other side, Radha's voice softened with relief and affection.

She promised she would bring plenty of sweets and gently reminded him to behave and not cause trouble while she was away.

Her words carried warmth, something Nameless had rarely felt in all his lifetimes.

The call ended.

But far away, something entirely different was unfolding.

Radha stood alert as a man suddenly tried to grab her from behind.

Her reaction was immediate.

She turned sharply, blade already in motion, ready to slice his hand clean off.

The man pulled back just in time, smirking with arrogance as if nothing had happened.

"Oh Radha, why so serious? I just wanted to tap your shoulder," he said casually.

Radha's eyes turned cold as ice.

"Oh? This is the shoulder?" she replied, pointing directly at her chest with sharp sarcasm.

The man, Tony, laughed shamelessly.

"Come on, we're going to be married anyway. I can do whatever I want."

Disgust flashed across Radha's face.

"I am already married. I have a husband and a daughter," she said firmly.

Tony rolled his eyes, his expression filled with contempt.

"That fool? Him?"

Radha laughed.

Not lightly, but with a sharp edge that cut deeper than any blade.

"That 'fool' made you run naked across the entire city," she said calmly.

"He beat you so badly that people still remember it. Want me to remind you properly?"

The words hit harder than any weapon.

Tony's face twisted with rage.

He slammed his hand into the wall, cracking it from the force, before turning and walking away.

Outside, he grabbed a cigarette violently from his assistant and lit it with shaking hands.

Smoke filled the air as his anger boiled over.

Everything she said was true.

Every single word.

Back then, Krishna had been a monster in human form.

A leader of the Dark Dragon Gang.

A man who lived for violence, ruled through fear, and crushed anyone who crossed him.

Tony remembered it clearly.

The humiliation.

The beatings.

The fear.

Krishna had not just defeated him—he had destroyed his pride completely.

Tony clenched his teeth, his voice filled with venom.

"I'll kill that bastard with my own hands."

He turned toward his assistant, his eyes cold and murderous.

"Activate the killer protocol."

The assistant nodded silently and disappeared.

Tony took another long drag from his cigarette and exhaled slowly.

A twisted smile formed on his face.

"Krishna… you're dead."
