My eyes opened, a cough escaped my throat. Hands of mine searching for water on nightstand even before my eyes could analyze the situation. Suddenly arms wrapped around my chest from behind. Holding me against her chest.
"Did you did it again last night? I found meth you hide next to sink." She said, my eyes froze. My hand which was looking for glass of water now paused. In urgency i turned around."Baby, trust me it was....." I ran out of excuses, since it wasn't first time i broke a promise.
Get gaze remained one me. Her hand came over my face, her fingers touched the cheek of mine, a sigh which carried disappointment or perhaps a exhaustion or maybe even hurt escaped her lips
"How did you even enter my apartment" i tried to make it look like she was wrong for even being here at first place.
"I had extra keys, the one you gave me" she reached for her bag and pulled extra keys out. She opened the drawer at nightstand and put keys inside it before closing it once more
I could see the attachment and her own desires fighting through her eyes. In sudden. Motion ,Her lips, rossy red came to kiss my same very cheek she just touched and whispered in my ear. Her breath against my ear, bringing a warmth "I am here...my love"
She pulled back to look in my eyes and leaned back to give me a kiss on my lips."i won't leave you" she repeated. She kissed me once more, again and again. Her trembling finger unbutton my shirt.
Sense of relief was felt in my heart. "She still love me" i thought or so i believed. Because that was our last night as lovers. But i should have understood, that leaving keys meant she will never open the door again.
Now after years, the same very eyes are staring at me. The guilt and insecurity had blanked my mind right now. silence streched like a never ending darkness, and i stood like a statue. "so we are partners? Ridiculous " she muttered and broke silence between us.
I noticed how camera was focused me on me and her. So i laughed awkwardly for the camera and gave her handshake, "how are you?" I said with softness which wasn't real. She nodded back with that gentle smile which again wasn't real. Her smile was like a mockery, she wanted me to see how fake i appear.
She stepped closer, her frame two inch smaller then me and then she said "so we will help eachother in duties, and we will share bed?. I hope you won't mess such basics again" she laughed gently afterwards, pretending that it was joke not taunt
Jaw clenched of mine but knowing about camera, i one again laughed along her and said "perhaps we are partners in crime. Shall we eat dinner. I heard that 'Rose' girl is making the dinner" i gestured towards the dining table where other's sat. She narrowed her eyes with suspicion at my invitation, but she agreed,knowing she can't openly show any personal feelings.
I offered my arm, daring her to keep feeling secret. She accepted with a tight smile . We walked towards the dinning table. Other's were sitting. Discussing. There was a quiet guy, looks young. Misha he introduced Himself. Unlike others, he sat in group but didn't said a word. Meanwhile some talked about pets, family or experiences.
Both me and Lisa, We sat side by side on table. I looked over the kicthen side, both Rose and another celebrity. A famous cooking influencer. Nora blake. Quite a name
The table and other house members around us, keeping that polite , fun and curious environment. House mates asking each other about thier thoughts. About thier hobbies and work. I noticed some house mates was already going to sleep.

After the dinner, I was given the dish duties. Probably because the person who was supposed to be washing dishes was already asleep. And it was good chance for me to appear as helping and reliable person, so i immediately changed my fashionable jacket and jeans into normal nightsuit.
