Rohan couldn't stop thinking about the orchard
and the strange whisper he felt earlier:
"…come back tonight."
Even though he was scared,
something inside him pushed him to return.
It felt like the orchard wanted him there.
Night at the Orchard
When Rohan reached the orchard at night,
the air suddenly became cold.
Too cold.
The trees were perfectly still—
no rustling,
no sound,
no movement.
Just… silence.
Rohan stepped closer.
And then he saw her.
The same red figure
standing between the trees,
half-hidden in mist.
This time, she was clearer—
almost real.
She wasn't moving.
Just watching him.
Rohan's heart thumped hard.
"Who are you?" he whispered.
The red figure slightly tilted her head
like she heard him.
Silence became heavier.
A message entered Rohan's mind
without any sound:
"…you came."
Rohan stepped back nervously.
"What do you want?"
he asked in a shaky voice.
The red figure didn't speak,
but lifted her hand
and pointed at the ground near Rohan.
Rohan turned—
and saw a black apple lying there.
Completely black.
Soft vibration inside it…
like a heartbeat.
"This wasn't here before…"
The red figure flickered again,
mist spreading behind her.
Another silent message hit Rohan's mind:
"…this is the beginning."
A cold wind blew from inside the orchard—
the first time anything had moved in days…
But still,
no sound at all.
Before disappearing into the mist,
the red figure left Rohan with one final message:
"…don't return alone."
She vanished.
Only the black apple remained—
warm, pulsing,
as if something inside it had awakened.
