Wow. I haven't seen a lengthy string of Gamer Notifications like this come through in a hot minute. Not since I completed the Instance Dungeon with Tony Stark and Pepper Potts. But this is getting pretty interesting. Looks like I unlocked a new function of the Gamer System called Achievements!
To put it simply, if you do something in particular, you get a one-time reward for it. And seeing its explanation, these rewards will be tangible, and change, depending on where I am at the time. And sure enough, once I tapped open the Quest Log and saw a blinking Achievements menu, I saw it was split into two primary categories, [Planet Earth], and [Asgard]. How cool is that? And going further, I saw different categories for each one. It was sorted by People and Actions.
Consuming a Rainbow-Grade Dish fell into the Actions category. Was it because it was a Rainbow-Grade? Or is it because Consume now lets me see a Dish's Grade? Either one could be at play here. It requires further testing. It didn't do anything when I consumed Jarvis's Mimosa earlier, so it very well could just be Rainbow-Grade Dishes.
Still, this is an unexpected gain. Just like that, I had gained two more pieces of Equipment, and two unexpected Skills! I also feel considerably stronger as well. I had gained a total of 70 Stats without raising a single finger. All of my Stats are above 200 now! But compared to those in the Level 200s, they're likely in the thousands, or tens of thousands. I have a long way to go to stand on equal terms with the people of Asgard.
As far as the tangible rewards of the Achievements function goes, it rewarded me with $75,000 USD, which further got boosted by Money Grubber. From there, it triggered all of those extra Gamer Notifications. I now have over $140,000. Already a tenth of the way there to becoming a millionaire.
Now that's a scary thought.
The Gamer System likely considered Currency as the most valuable reward to use for the time being. And having money will let me do things depending on what I want to do. I call that a win. It's another source of revenue for me!
Nonetheless, you know what this means, right? It's time to review the loot! I had four things to check out this time, so let's get to it right away. I decided to start with the two Orange-Grade Accessories. My four Accessory Slots are currently occupied, so unless these two are really good, I'll have to consider what to take off. Ring of the Wind Spirit I feel is already reaching its limits. Once I finish the rest of that Wind Magic and Wind Shackles farming, I'm already considering taking it off. Blue-Grade Equipment can only go so far, after all.
Keeping that in mind, the details of the first piece of Equipment came into view.

Wow. Orange-Grade Equipment really are something else, aren't they? These two are inspired by Ascendance of a Bookworm and Naruto respectively. The first one I never watched but heard it was pretty good once you reach a certain part in its story, so I was planning on giving it a try. Naruto, on the other hand, is one of the three big anime. One Piece and Bleach being the other two. I've caught up with the first season of Bleach, so perhaps Naruto is next up on the list. It should have just started airing in English last year, so there probably aren't too many episodes yet. Maybe later.
Still...My eyes couldn't help but wander toward the second piece of Equipment that was now on the table in front of me. It was in the shape of a Lightning Bolt. I was already feeling excitement coursing through me. Bonafide Lightning Magic is finally here. Hell yes!
Lightning Magic is both flashy and very, very powerful. Its strength is absurd, and is often seen as a sub-element of Wind. But its most devastating feature? Its attack speed! Lightning moves very swiftly, and by the time one hears it, your enemies would already be under attack. Moreover...I know that Spell name from anywhere. It's the signature move from one of Naruto's characters, Kakashi Hatake!
The weird thing is, any sort of move from the Naruto world requires what is called Chakra, an energy system like Chi from DBZ, or Mana from other stories. Considering I am using Mana Points, the Gamer System is likely converting the requirement of Chakra directly into MP, allowing me to use it. Does that mean I don't need to take into consideration different forms of energy once I start encountering them? It's almost like this Gamer System counts MP as a universal energy source.

That really is the case!? It really does just convert just about energy systems into one universal one...Absurd.
If this Gamer System decides to throw in some crazy and wacky Skills from other anime like it presently is doing for my Equipment, then this is pretty much a failsafe, and will allow me to use those Skills. I mean I can already use Zoltraak from Frieren, and now, Raikiri from Naruto, Kakashi's signature move. I can't help but wonder what will be next. How can I not be excited right now?
But as much as I wanted to put on Lightning Blade right away, I didn't. I currently have Angel's Feather and Dragon Vein on right now. Angel's Feather gives me extra Light Damage and Wordsmith, so I don't want to remove that one. I was considering taking off Dragon Vein. It is only a Blue-Grade piece of Equipment, and it is only giving me Breath of the Sun and Flametongue Active Skills. Considering I have over 35k MP now, I can easily make my way through casting these two Skills 10,000 times each.
To be on the safe side, I decided to have another review of what these two Skills did.
[Breath of the Sun]
A powerful breathing technique that draws upon the warmth and vitality of the sun. Each breath invigorates the body and spreads a restorative warmth to all nearby allies and yourself. Inspired by Demon Slayer.

[Flametongue]

Hmm. 10,000 uses really is a lot, isn't it? Unlike Wind Sphere, these two require 100 and 50 MP per use. I'd need 500k and 1m MP total to acquire them permanently. 10 uses would need 1000 MP, and a 100 would need 10,000 MP, so on and so on. One hundred uses would fill it out 200/10,000 times thanks to Points Doubler. It isn't as instant as I would have hoped, but what to do...
I decided to have another look at my MP Recovery rate. After enjoying dinner, the time was now 8PM. I had to fall asleep no later than Midnight to make it in time for Frigga's next lesson, so that would give me four hours to dungeon dive. I don't think I can enjoy a dungeon to its fullest in that short amount of time, so I will pass on heading into the Kobold Nest. I'll save it for tomorrow.
MP Recovery Rate: 320 / minute.
Another absurd stat already. I can recover over 300 MP every minute. I can recover more than three times the amount needed for Breath of the Sun! I would just use it once, enter an idle position, then use it again, and enter a steady rhythm that would be equivalent to that of meditating. I feel it would be pretty good as well, considering I'll be constantly covering my HP and all.
Bidding farewell to the mechanical arm that took the empty dishes back over toward the sink to wash them, I wandered back up into the foyer further upward from the lobby. Where the master bed was. Kicking off my shoes, I got on top of it. Steadying my breath, I did what any person would do if you read one of those eastern stories.

And you want to know the best part about doing this? I didn't see any form of cooldown whatsoever when it comes to Breath of the Sun. That means I can spam it! I imagine once the skill is mine and that I can level it up, it will assign a cooldown to it.
But until then, I can spam it however I please. Haha!
Grinning while taking in a deep breath, I became focused, and closed my eyes. It did not take long for the Gamer Notifications to roll through. At the same time, the rest of the night soon began to pass by...
