The Mephas Kingdom is a very large place. In which half of the Demon Forest is located. There are eleven large cities in the kingdom, and seventeen small cities. Compared to other kingdoms, its number of cities is not that large. However, Mephas is much larger in size. In the capital city of Mephas, there is the Royal Palace. Where the King of Mephas sits and rules the entire Mephas. The palace is located right in the middle of the capital. The roads around it are closed for half a kilometer. There is a huge barrier all around, which makes the entire palace free from any kind of attack.
In one of the rooms of the Royal Palace, an old man lies on a huge bed. He is actually King Charles the Ninth of this Kingdom. As he ages, his body has stopped working. No medicine or healer can fix him. Even the best healer in the Kingdom has failed to treat him. Sitting next to him is a girl. The girl is the King's youngest daughter. She is thirteen years old. The King has a total of three children. Two princes and a princess.

With a whimper, he opened a drawer in his room's cupboard. From which several red fruits came out. He put one in his mouth. Suddenly, he started to feel normal. He got up and sat on a chair. He took off his glasses and held them in his hand. It was a magical item. Which he got from the tenth floor of the tower. It was an A class magical item. Its name is Medic. It can detect the existence of diseases in any living or dead body and can also fix it. Chesley had identified Alex's disease with it. However, when he tried to fix it with his Pran energy, all the energy in his body was gone. He was on the verge of death. Chesley let out a little sigh. If he hadn't eaten the Energy Fruit at the right time, he might have died. The glasses in his hand, which were an A class magical item, were now nothing more than ordinary glasses. He realized that all his energy was being absorbed by Alex's body, but he couldn't do or say anything in front of Maria. After all, he was Maria's son. So he didn't want to think about anything bad.
