Chapter 47 - Chapter 48: The Girl He Couldn’t Find

The basketball match had barely ended when Suho left the court.

While the rest of his teammates celebrated their unexpected victory, cheering loudly and patting his back, Suho's attention was somewhere else entirely. Without wasting a single second, he stepped away from the crowd and scanned the stadium.

His eyes were searching for someone.

The crowd was huge—students talking excitedly about the match, girls whispering about the mysterious new MVP, and players celebrating the unbelievable comeback. But Suho ignored all of it. His gaze moved quickly through every face, every corner of the stadium.

He was looking for that girl.

The girl he had seen earlier.

The one whose face had stayed in his mind ever since that moment.

Without realizing it, Suho had already memorized her face perfectly.

The way her eyes looked, the calm expression on her face, the quiet aura she carried—everything about her had been strangely unforgettable.

But there was one problem.

He didn't know her name.

Suho walked out of the stadium and into the school corridors.

Students were still discussing the match, but he barely heard them. His mind was focused on one thing only—finding her.

First, he checked the main hallway.

Then the cafeteria.

After that, the garden behind the school building.

Everywhere he looked, he hoped to catch a glimpse of her again. Every time he saw a girl with similar hair or a similar silhouette, his heart skipped a beat.

But each time, it wasn't her.

Meanwhile, in the quiet school library, the girl he was searching for was completely unaware of the chaos she had caused in someone's mind.

She sat peacefully at a table with her friend, flipping through the pages of a book. The library was calm and silent, far away from the loud excitement of the stadium.

To her, it was just another normal afternoon.

She had no idea that someone had been searching the entire school just to see her again.

Back outside, Suho stopped walking for a moment.

He sighed softly.

He had already checked almost the entire campus, yet he still couldn't find her anywhere.

"Did I imagine it?" he murmured to himself.

Just then, the loud school bell rang through the hallways.

Students immediately began rushing toward their classrooms. The corridors filled with footsteps and chatter as everyone hurried before the class started.

Suho took a deep breath.

Since he couldn't find her now, there was only one thing left to do—go to class.

After all, today was his first day as a transfer student.

A few minutes later, Suho stood in front of the classroom door of his new section.

Inside, the professor clapped his hands lightly to get everyone's attention.

"Alright, everyone, quiet down," he said. "Today we have a new transfer student joining our class."

The students instantly became curious. Whispers spread across the room as everyone turned their heads toward the door.

"Come in," the professor said.

Suho stepped inside the classroom.

The moment he walked in, the atmosphere changed.

Several girls immediately began whispering among themselves. His tall figure, sharp features, and calm confidence made him stand out instantly.

The professor smiled and gestured toward him.

"Please introduce yourself."

Suho looked around the classroom and slightly bowed his head.

"Hello," he said calmly. "My name is Suho. It's nice to meet all of you."

The moment his voice echoed in the classroom, the whispers grew louder.

"He's so handsome…"

"Isn't he the guy who won the basketball match?"

"I think he's the new MVP!"

The professor then pointed toward an empty seat.

"You can sit over there."

Suho picked up his bag and started walking toward the desk.

But suddenly—

His steps stopped.

His heart skipped a beat.

There, in the third row near the window, sat a familiar face.

The very girl he had been searching for all over the school.

For a moment, the entire world seemed to go silent.

At that exact second, the girl slowly lifted her head.

And their eyes met.

Suho's eyes widened slightly.

After searching the entire school…

The person he was looking for had been in his classroom all along.
