They stared at each other.
Roy's chest rose and fell beneath her palms, his heartbeat thundering against her hands.
Aya could feel him.
He was not hard. The curse prevented that. But it was warm and present and RIGHT THERE against the most sensitive part of her body, separated by almost nothing. The heat of him radiated upward through the fabric and her body responded before her brain could intervene.
A bolt of sensation shot through her core so intense that her hips shifted involuntarily. Just a fraction. A tiny, instinctive roll of her pelvis against him.
Roy's jaw clenched hard.
His hands had landed on her hips when they fell and his fingers now tightened, digging into the soft flesh above her hip bones. A muscle in his jaw ticked and his green eyes, fixed on her face, had gone very dark.
"Get off."
His voice was rough.
