"SO THAT'S WHY YOU ARE SO FEARLESS OF ME. TO ARRIVE IN THIS WORLD ONLY TO BE ENSLAVED BY A DEMON AND A DRAGON IN AN ENCLOSED BLIZZARD. HOW SAD." As I told him about my story, Veldora's sympathetic voice came as he flicked a fake tear off his eye.
"It wasn't that bad, Guy was pretty fair. Although Velzard was a bit of a problem."
"BELIEVE ME, I UNDERSTAND, SHES ALWAYS BEEN SO STRICT AND CRUEL WITH ME TOO." Veldora voiced with empathy, he could still feel the pain of her love.
"Cruel? Oh no, my problem is that she was too clingy." I said feigning turmoil.
"UH CL-CLINGY?" Veldora's brain suddenly had to reboot at the heresy that was just uttered from this humans mouth, "APOLOGIES HUMAN, BUT YOU SAID MY SISTER… VELZARD… WAS TOO CLINGY?"
" Yeah, she just can't stay away from me, it's so annoying."
Veldora's brain was about to crash and collapse. How could his frosty sister be clingy of any kind. Sure possessive, but CLINGY.
Looking at the malfunctioning Veldora, I couldn't hold back my laugh, I swear I could see a buffering circle appear above his head, " Ok I'm sorry for leaving you hanging, I shouldn't be messing with you." I was laughing as I was speaking.
"SO YOU WERE JOKING, I KNEW IT WAS A JEST." Veldora sighed in relief
"No she has been like that."
"HUH!"
"…But that is probably my fault."
"YOUR FAULT?"
I sat down against the barrier, " You could say I corrupted her in a sense."
"…EXPLAIN."
"It's my ultimate skill, it infects those close to me with human ego. Over time her personality had undergone too much change and she had become extremely attached to me. Not in the unhealthy sense, she allowed me to share a family name with her."
"MY SISTER AGREED TO HAVE A FAMILY NAME WITH SOMEONE?"
" Yeah, she's now Velzard Winters and I am Simon Winters."
" C-CATCHY." Veldora stuttered with a question stuck in his throat. He was pondering how to say it in a manner that wouldn't be offensive, unfortunately his brain was already too sore to think of a method, " SIMON, WAS IT, WHAT IS YOUR RELATIONSHIP WITH MY SISTER?"
" That… I don't know what…" I sighed deeply and hung my head low, " I don't know what it is at the moment."
" SIMON, ARE YOU GOING TO BE MY BROTHER-IN-LAW?"
" Oh god no, we haven't even established any relationship between us, we are far from marriage." I exhaled deeply, " Sorry I didn't mean to come here and talk about my relationship with your sister. This must've been extremely uncomfortable for you."
" NO NEED, IT'S NICE TO GET AT LEAST SOME NEWS ABOUT THE OUTSIDE WORLD."
" You seem to be very content with me here, have you been lonely?" I said in a teasing voice.
"YES, THERE IS NOTHING LEFT TO DO HERE BUT DIE." Veldora's tone became much sadder, "SIMON, WILL YOU BE MY FRIEND?" Veldora asked hopefully.
"Awe, I thought we were already friends."
"REALLY!?"
"Sure." And just like that I befriended another top tier powerhouse.
" I CAN ALREADY TELL YOU'RE PROBABLY NOT GONNA STAY, WILL YOU VISIT ME?" Veldora gave me the cute puppy dog eye treatment
" Of course, although I must warn you I'm a very busy person." I said in a light tease
" JUST ONE MORE QUESTION." Veldora looked even more uneasy than earlier.
I saw the worry in eyes which made me worry, " um ok."
" ARE YOU REALLY HUMAN?" Veldora asked in a concerned tone.
" Huh, of course, what else would I be?" I asked in confusion.
" OK THEN." Veldora let it go
Veldora had been observing this human very closely, he had been very kind and fair towards Veldora and no matter what, he couldn't sense an inkling of power from this human, but that wasn't what was the problem. It was his eyes, his pitch black eyes were unsettling, not because of the colour but because of what he felt from them Nothing, he felt nothing. This human's stare felt like that of a monster, an emotionless predatory gaze infected with insanity.
" Is there something wrong about me?" I began checking my body for anything that would concern him.
"DON'T… DON'T WORRY ABOUT IT."
When Veldora looked down, I was struggling but successfully phasing my hand through the barrier. When my hand made it through, I dropped off a pack of Bleach manga, "Here's some reading material to keep yourself from dying of boredom."
Veldora looked down at the manga in astonishment, "THANK YOU SIMON, THIS IS SUCH AN INCREDIBLE GIFT! I AM TRULY GRATEFUL!" Veldora looked at me as if I were an a saviour granting salvation to this poor dragon.
"You can consider it entertainment from my world. Reading material that focuses more on pictures than words."
Before Veldora immersed himself in his newfound entertainment, he addressed the issue that he had just witnessed, " SIMON, CAN YOU FREE ME FROM THIS PRISON?" He had witnessed this human pierce through the Infinity prison.
"No I can't." I probably could with the combined efforts of Spacetime domination and Blasphemer, but that's a big probably and he doesn't want to ruin the original story anyway. Simon could tell Veldora's mood dropped at that, so I decided to give him a sort of saving grace,
"What if I gave you a prophecy from me?"
" A PROPHECY?"
" Yes, in just less than a century, a monster will be born in this cave. This monster will be the monster to free you and become your best friend."
"HOW INTERESTING. OK THEN, I CAN WAIT A CENTURY."
" Well then, I will be on my way. See you Veldora." I waved while walking away.

I mentally documented the spatial coordinates of the prison and teleported back in the lab where the wolf and metalloid were having a tug of war for a book.
Nyx: "Give it back to me!"
Amanises: "No, their messing with your brain."
I took the book and saw it was another romcoms, "Really Nyx?" I looked at Nyx with a blank stare.
"What about it?!" She shouted while trying to grab the book.
"That's not important, I have something to talk to you both about."
Both of them sat down to listen.
" You guys have been with me for 10 years and yet I've never introduced either of you to my teacher." Both their ears perked up at my words, " So tomorrow I'm taking you both to the frozen continent."
Amanises excited: "We're meeting your teacher!"
Nyx anxious: "We're meeting your teacher!"
