Chapter 1 - Prologue to a Kidnapping.

In a realm where darkness reigned and the sun did not exist, three crimson moons hung in the sky. Their celestial bodies wept blood; with each drop, a unique and beautiful white flower was birthed, giving the realm a mystic, haunting vibe.

In this world, rivers flowed not with water, but with deep red blood. Within the currents swam no fish; instead, the dismembered body parts of countless races tumbled through the tide. Severed heads floated by, eyes wide with the terror of their final moments.

Within every flashback of these fallen souls stood the same man.

The culprit.

And a beautiful one at that.

The man had long black hair that seemed to defy gravity, swaying even when no wind brushed against it. He had deep, ruby-red eyes that seemed to pierce and unravel a being with a single glance. His skin, despite being covered in blood, remained unscarred, unblemished, and pale—almost porcelain. His mouth held rows of sharp teeth, curled into a constant state of feral glee. He stood seven feet tall with a lean, almost frail physique that, to the untrained eye, made him look like "prey" rather than a "predator."

A mistake… a mistake indeed.

He wore a black suit with red trimmings, appearing untouched by the gore of the battlefields seen in the visions. He was a beautiful man—but a beauty that deceives.

At the very center of this grotesque and cruelly beautiful realm stood a castle. The fortress was neither overly large nor too small. Its walls were made of a material so dark it seemed to suck in what little light remained. If one looked closely enough, they would notice that nothing "living" inhabited the halls; it appeared vacant.

And yet, that was not true.

Within the castle, in a vast throne room where pillars depicted intricate carvings of ancient battles, stood a throne at the top of several steep steps. Unlike the black castle, the throne was a bright crimson. It was etched with runes written in forgotten languages—languages that, if understood, would make a person break out in a cold sweat. But that's a secret for another time… hehe.

Sitting upon this throne was the very man all those poor souls had the misfortune of meeting: the man, the myth, the legend… DUN DUN… COUNT DRACULA! Or, as he is more commonly known: Vlad Tepes, the Impaler.

Woooooo! Come on, I know you're excited too.

*Ahem* *clears throat.*

Anyway… Vlad sat upon his crimson throne with his head resting on his hand and his eyes closed. He had been in this position for decades, but such a short time was nothing to him—a man who had lived for millions of years.

Today was supposed to be yet another fleeting moment in his endless life, yet it turned out to be anything but ordinary. While the sky wept and the rivers flowed, Vlad's eyelids twitched. They slowly opened to reveal his ruby eyes, which immediately snapped to the floor.

Specifically, they focused on a glowing pink circle with rotating runes. It had appeared mere moments ago—something Vlad believed to be impossible. Who in their right mind would intrude upon the Impaler's domain?

And yet, Vlad didn't seem distressed.

A summoning circle? he thought in amusement.

A being such as he could have destroyed such a weak summoning circle instantly. And yet, he didn't. Why? Even Vlad didn't quite know. As he reached out to crush it, his instincts flared, warning him to stop. After a long life, he knew that instincts often served better than rationality, so he did not resist.

He let the summoning circle engulf him. He allowed himself to be "kidnapped," because if the other side wished to fight… well, as the narrator, I feel nothing but pity. Truly a fate I wish not to experience.

As the light engulfed him, a wide, feral grin split across Vlad's face. His life had been missing the spice he loved most: chaos so today… today was a good day for Vlad.

A good day indeed Vlad thought.

Wait… did he just hear me?

*Gulp* *Sweating*

The world of Eros.

On the other side of this "weak" summoning circle lay the world known as Eros.

"YOUR MAJESTY! THE GODDESS HAS DEPLOYED THE STRONGEST SUMMONING TECHNIQUE WE KNOW!" a servant shouted.

The King, hearing this, frowned. It was clear this news was not good.

"Why?! She knows this technique is a one-time use! Why now?!" his old, powerful voice echoed through the palace. Everyone flinched at the annoyance in his tone. He was what a certain violet-eyed chaos dragon might call an "old monster."

The servant flinched under the King's scrutiny before pulling himself together. "T-the Goddess spoke! The Unknown Seer informed her that if we want our problems solved, we must use the summoning now, as fate, destiny, and causality are overwhelmingly in our favor!"

Of course, when he said "spoke," he meant via revelations and visions given to the Saintess.

And as for the Unknown Seer… well, I don't know. She's unknown for a reason.

The King relaxed slightly, tilting his head back in thought. He trusted the Goddess, and if the Seer spoke of destiny, it had to be true. The Seer only spoke during times of true importance, and she had never been wrong.

"Sigh. Raise your head," the King commanded. "Did the Saintess say when the summons would arrive?"

"The Saintess said the summoned beings would first meet with the Goddess, and then she will send them here. So… no, there is no exact time. I apologize, Your Majesty."

The King's eyes bulged. "WHAT! MEET THE GODDESS?!"

Did he hear that right? Meet THE Goddess? Those lucky bastards, he thought in jealousy.

With a sigh, he waved his hand to dismiss the servant, who bowed and fled. The King slouched back and closed his eyes, muttering, "Damn! I'm too old for this shit!"

Such an unruly way for a king to talk.

In a divine realm.

"Are you sure of what you speak, Seer?"

A sweet, melodic voice sounded through the realm. The voice was so enchanting that any mortal would kneel and beg for a sliver of her attention. Trust me… I know. ;)

The second voice was quieter, yet no less enchanting. It held a tone of wisdom and foresight, as if everything was calculated.

"Who knows, Miss Goddess? Maybe I'm lying… maybe I'm not… who knows?" With a shrug, the Seer went quiet.

"Grrrr… that annoying way of speaking! IF YOU KNOW, JUST SAY IT!" the Goddess growled in annoyance. This self proclaimed "know-it-all" always spoke cryptically just to spite her.

"Hahahaha! Calm down. Everything will proceed well… hopefully." The Seer spoke the last word with barely hidden seriousness.

The Goddess's expression hardened. "What is it? I've never seen that look on you."

The Seer sighed. "When I looked upon fate, destiny, and causality… something unexpected happened. My eyes were blocked. I was only allowed to see the best path to follow, not what it entails." She paused, locking eyes with the Goddess. "What surprised me most was… I felt that fate, destiny, and causality were scared."

"Of what?" the Goddess blurted out.

"That… I do not know. But whatever those three knew, they had no desire to interfere. Whatever we have summoned… may not be something we can control."

Silence fell over the divine realm. If Fate, destiny and causality itself were afraid, they might have summoned their doom rather than their savior.

The Goddess stayed silent, parting her lips to speak. "Wh—"

ZZZZZZZZT!

Suddenly, the summoning circle sparked to life. The summons were here. The Seer and the Goddess snapped their heads toward the circle.

"W-well… I'll be going now! Haha, y'know, I've got a cat to feed!" And just like that, the Seer vanished.

THIS BITCH! the Goddess shouted internally. But she composed herself, took a godly stance, and prepared her speech. She planned to guilt-trip them just a tincy wincy bit.

"W-where are we?!"

"Are we dead?!"

"Teacher! Where is the teacher?!"

"Jake! Where is Jake?!"

Mass hysteria filled the realm as several figures appeared.

The Goddess raised her voice, radiating light.

"WELCOME, MORTALS… OR SHOULD I SAY… OUR SAVIORS!"
