Chapter 33 - Movies Lie!

Yang Yongjiu brought gifts with him this time. After entering with two of his men, he glanced at Lei Luo and Han Shaoqing. "Detective Lei is here too. What a coincidence."

"Third Master."

"Third Master."

Lei Luo and Zhu Youzai stood up to greet him.

Han Shaoqing remained seated, giving Yang Yongjiu a bland look, not even knowing who this guy was.

He could tell, however, that the other man was from the underworld.

Yang Yongjiu was a bit displeased but didn't show it, instead smiling. "This must be Brother Han. Truly, a hero emerges from the youth! This old man is the Third Elder of the ChaoShan Gang. Fatty Chao was blind to offend Brother Han; he deserved to die. I've come to apologize. I hope Brother Han will be magnanimous and not take it to heart."

So, they were from the ChaoShan Gang. Were they planning to appease first and then resort to force?

Hearing Yang Yongjiu's words, Han Shaoqing casually said, "I didn't take it to heart. The Third Elder, right? Since you're here, take a message back."

"Please speak."

Yang Yongjiu's expression became serious.

"For this term, I nominate Wu Shihhao to be the person in charge of the ChaoShan Gang. Go back and ask, who agrees and who opposes?"

As soon as these words were spoken, Lei Luo, Yang Yongjiu, and the others were stunned for a moment, wondering if they had heard wrong.

They had seen arrogant people, but never someone this arrogant.

The ChaoShan Gang was, after all, one of the four major gangs in Hong Kong. Han Shaoqing, an outsider who hadn't even established a foothold, immediately wanted the obscure Wu Shihhao to be the person in charge of the ChaoShan Gang. It was simply not taking the ChaoShan Gang seriously.

Lei Luo and Zhu Youzai exchanged glances, remaining silent, watching how things would unfold.

Yang Yongjiu felt his blood pressure skyrocket, nearly losing control and wanting to order someone to chop this madman up.

"Alright! I'll pass it on."

Suppressing a surge of anger, Yang Yongjiu didn't explode.

Han Shaoqing didn't care about the other man's darkening face, saying to Da Wei beside him, "Ah Wei, give the Third Elder a phone number."

"Got it, Brother Qing."

Da Wei, hearing this, took a pen and wrote down the villa's landline number, handing it to Yang Yongjiu.

Yang Yongjiu hesitated for a moment before accepting the phone number.

"Third Elder, if there's nothing else, you should head back. Just let me know the results this afternoon."

Without waiting for Yang Yongjiu to speak, Han Shaoqing immediately issued a dismissal.

"In that case, I won't bother you any further."

Yang Yongjiu didn't understand what tricks Han Shaoqing was planning, but his casual demeanor clearly showed that he didn't take Yang Yongjiu, or even the ChaoShan Gang, seriously.

While Yang Yongjiu felt angry, he couldn't help but ponder the other party's background.

If the other party wasn't a fool, then they had absolute confidence in being able to handle the ChaoShan Gang.

Could it be that the mainland was preparing to make a move?

The more Yang Yongjiu thought about it, the more uncertain he felt. The phone number in his hand seemed to have turned into a heavy burden, making it feel difficult to hold.

Not long after the troubled Yang Yongjiu left, Lei Luo and Zhu Youzai also left the villa.

"Qing-ge, are you sure you want me to be the ChaoShan Gang's leader?"

Seeing the outsiders leave, Wu Shihhao couldn't help but ask.

Han Shaoqing countered with a question, "Do you want to be the leader, or even the underground emperor of Hong Kong?"

Wu Shihhao thought for a moment and nodded heavily, "I do!"

"Then it's settled. At most three days. Once you get through these three days, you'll be the ChaoShan Gang's leader."

Han Shaoqing considered this for a moment and then said, "Your strength is still lacking. I'll teach you some kung fu first."

"Kung fu?"

Wu Shihhao and the others showed expressions of delight.

They had seen Han Shaoqing's skills; over a hundred people couldn't even get close to him.

But what they didn't know was how powerful the Hegemonic True Qi that Han Shaoqing taught them was.

The Hegemonic True Qi originated from the Overlord Halberd Technique and was a complementary martial art, a cultivation method practiced by Xiang Yu.

Perhaps because Xiang Yu came from a high-martial world, the Hegemonic True Qi was extremely overbearing. If one could cultivate it to the Great Completion stage, it wouldn't be weaker than those so-called superheroes, and might even be stronger than many of them.

Wu Shihhao and the others were past the age for martial arts training, and their education wasn't high. Han Shaoqing used the simplest method to teach them.

That was Transferring Qi.

The so-called Transferring Qi meant using one's own true qi and injecting it into another's body, guiding them to generate a sense of qi.

Then, they would adapt and nourish this qi, allowing it to continuously grow stronger and ultimately transform into their own power.

It's still quite troublesome to get a few ordinary people to sense Qi.

It requires expending True Qi to circulate through their meridians and allowing them to familiarize themselves with the feeling. If anything goes wrong, not only will it be a waste of effort, but there's also the risk of death.

Fortunately, Han Shaoqing had a robust physique and excellent control. After a day of cultivation, he was equivalent to someone else cultivating for a hundred days. After spending the better part of the day, Wu Shihhao and his three brothers all felt the sensation of Qi.

Correspondingly, Han Shaoqing only taught them the first stance of the Overlord Halberd Technique.

It wasn't that Han Shaoqing was being stingy, but Wu Shihhao and the others were just starting to dabble in martial arts. In a short time, being able to learn and use the first stance was already pretty good.

Where they could go in the future would depend on their own fortunes.

Three o'clock in the afternoon, the ChaoShan Gang's meeting room.

Yang Yongjiu returned to the main base and called the other elders over. They gathered together, and Yang Yongjiu recounted his experience and Han Shaoqing's words.

The Eighth Elder slammed his hand on the table and stood up: "They're going too far! Do they really think our ChaoShan Gang is easy to bully? I propose we immediately gather our people and wipe him out."

The Second Elder looked at the resourceful Fifth Elder: "Old Five, what do you think?"

The Fifth Elder habitually twirled the jade ring on his finger: "They are so confident, they must have something to rely on. Before we figure out their background, it's best not to act rashly."

The Fourth Elder stepped forward: "They're practically riding on our heads! You can endure it, but I can't. I agree with Old Eight; let's find someone to take care of him."

The Third Elder thought for a moment, holding a phone number: "What do you think? Should we reply to him?"

The Eighth Elder shouted: "Reply my ass! I'll gather our men right now and catch him off guard."

Little did he know that the Han Shaoqing he wanted to kill was on the roof of the building they were in.

At this moment, Han Shaoqing had changed into a black trench coat and was leaning against the rooftop, smoking. His sharp hearing allowed him to clearly hear the conversation below.

He held a small notebook in his hand, with some names written on it, and a passport-sized photo next to each name.

This was provided by Lei Luo.

Han Shaoqing had never trusted the ChaoShan Gang, nor would he sit and wait for death. He preferred to take the initiative.

After listening for a while, Han Shaoqing dropped his cigarette butt and crossed out a few names in the notebook. He shoved the notebook into his pocket, then flipped over and jumped, from the rooftop to the fifth floor across the way. He then smashed through the second-floor window, directly barging into the ChaoShan Gang's meeting room.

The moment Han Shaoqing broke in, the Eighth Elder and several gunmen immediately pulled out their pistols.

Yang Yongjiu reminded, "He's Han Shaoqing."

"Good afternoon, sorry to disturb you, have you made your choice…"

"I choose your grandpa."

Before Han Shaoqing could finish speaking, the Eighth Elder fired his gun directly. The gunmen behind him also opened fire on Han Shaoqing.

Bang bang bang~

Bullets flew towards him. If it were an ordinary person, they would be turned into a hornet's nest in an instant.

Indeed, movies are all lies!

What villains die from talking too much? As a result, Han Shaoqing hadn't even finished a sentence, and the other side's magazines were already empty.
