Alexander explained the details of the job he was offering her… it had the same work hours as her usual job, but the schedule was more flexible as she could choose the days she wanted to work. Mia thought about how it would feel to not dance for every single day. He told her about her dress code, it was not going to be the scanty dresses that she wore at her old club, it was still skimpy she would be a lot more covered up than she ever was in that place.
She was not going to be offering private dances to any customer no matter what and hearing that, Mia had already accepted the terms in her heart. But she let him continue. The icing on the cake was when he spoke about her pay. It was ten times more than her old pay and suddenly Mia felt a little suspicious. "These are multi billionaires, men and women around the world who have no idea what to do with their money anymore. It is for the one percent of the one percent. It is beyond exclusive" he began to say.
"They do not mind paying a few thousands to be able to come in and you just happen to be one of the benefactors of their wealth" he assured her. He explained that her tips would also not be put into her body like the men did at her club, no one was allowed to touch her. Mia was ready to accept the offer on the spot, but it seemed all too good to be true. As Mia sat there and listened to Alexander, she realised that he was a completely different person when he spoke business.
The terms rolled out of his tongue like something he had practiced since he was a child. He was so casual about their meeting that Mia began to feel at ease. He was a totally different person from the man she was with that night. The thoughts of that night came flashing in her head and she had to close her legs tightly. Alexander smelled it, he sharply turned his gaze up to her face where her cheeks were a little tinted. He looked down at her legs that were now crossed. "How does she not know that crossing her legs makes it worse" he thought to himself.
His breathing became heavier as he tried to fight the urge to throw everything off the table and fuck her till he fulfilled every naughty desire that went through her head. He instead cleared his throat and tried to focus on their discussion. Mia was thinking about his offer and when he finished, he asked if she had any questions. Mia did not have any question concerning the club but she had someone in mind, "if I agree to work for you, can my friend come too?" she asked. Alexander's eyebrow rose in confusion.
Mia immediately realised that he did not understand and began to explain, "I have a friend, Angel, she is also a dancer but she wants to leave that place just as I want to. Can she get a job from you too?" Mia asked. Alexander's heart went even softer at her words. He wondered how she always put everyone else in her life first. From her sister, to now her friend. Alexander fought back the smile that threatened to escape his lips and nodded, "yes, she can come too. But that is if you are willing to vouch for her." he said.
"Oh, yes! I am ready to vouch for her at any time of the day. She is a really good dancer and I promise that she will not cause any trouble," Mia said excitedly as she grinned. Alexander looked at her suspiciously, wondering why she would promise that her friend would not cause any trouble. It meant only one thing, that she was a trouble maker. He looked at her beautiful toothy smile and he did not realise he smiled as well.
His guards had a shocked look on both their faces but dared not say anything, they just looked away wondering who this woman that made their boss smile was. "I need some time to think about it," she said to him. He nodded, "also remember, we can pay your debt with that man and the hospital off and figure out a plan to still have you taking something home at the end of the day," he said, reminding her of his briefing. "Yes, and there will be a legal document binding the agreement," Mia added to show that she had been paying attention.
Alexander nodded and they said their goodbyes. Mia stretched her hand forward for a handshake but Alexander knew better than to touch or hold her, he only had such little control left. He nodded and walked away. "I thought he was nicer to me now, why is he back to being rude?" Mia thought to herself as she watched him walk away into an elevator with his guards behind him. Mia left as well and headed back for the hospital. She was really excited to share her discoveries with Cam.
When Mia returned to the hospital, her sister was about to fall asleep. They said their goodbyes and Mia promised to come over the next day before she left for school. She and Cam had a lot of things to discuss, but most of all, they would need to find a way to resign from working for Big Pa and they knew that it would not be an easy task. Alexander had spent an hour alone, trying to calm himself before leaving his office again. What was he thinking when he offered her a job to dance at his club? He asked himself multiple times.
He and Angelo decided that it was best to have her close, so they would be able to find out if she was really human or if she just did a very good job at hiding her wolf. She had no wolf smell or could even be sensed as a wolf by others. His only way of getting her around him a lot without kidnapping her was to give her a job. He hated that he would have her as just a dancer in his club even if he knew that he would never let her dance for any of those men. He had a plan.
