At night, Tony Stark and Yinsen were playing chess.
"You still haven't told me where you're from?" Tony Stark asked.
Yinsen stared intently at the chessboard, his right hand holding a die, and replied, "A small town called Gamilia. It's a very nice place."
"Do you have family?" Tony Stark continued to ask.
"Yes, I'll go see them when I leave here. What about you, Stark?" Yinsen replied.
Tony Stark paused, looked at Yinsen, then pursed his lips and picked up a chess piece, placing it on the board. He said, feeling a bit down, "I don't have any family."
"None?" Yinsen confirmed, looking at Tony Stark's expression. Then, he nodded and said.
"I also heard Stark, where are you?"
He also heard the sound of music.
"It sounds like they're here to save you. It seems like you're not without people who care about you. But...why do I still hear the sound of music? Am I mistaken?" Yinsen said with a smile, looking at Tony Stark.
"Maybe," Tony Stark shrugged, and the first person that came to mind was Pepper Potts.
That's right, on the other side were Chen Ye and his group, along with a dog.
The story began half an hour ago.
"Woof... There's a lot of the smell of living people in the valley ahead," Dog Deadpool suddenly said to the valley ahead.
"It seems the Armed Forces' base is up ahead. Let's go, I don't want to spend the night here," Chen Ye said.
"Damn, finally found them. We had to search for ages! They're going to see how awesome the great Deadpool is. Another day out here, and I'll be cooked!" Deadpool said, taking out the dual swords from his back and starting to swing them.
"Don't move, let me handle this!"
"Let's speed up. I'll go ahead." Pietro couldn't wait, putting on his goggles. Clearly, spending a day in the desert was not fun, completely forgetting Chen Ye's request of not using superpowers.
Then, with a "whoosh," Quicksilver vanished.
Seeing Quicksilver disappear, Chen Ye took out a pair of goggles from his trench coat. He said, "See you soon," to Deadpool and Dog Deadpool before also using his superpower to go ahead.
Only one man and one dog were left, looking at each other.
"Hey, take us with you! Damn it, why don't I have such a convenient ability?" "Woof!"
"Tony Stark should be held in there."
"Wade, you and Dog Deadpool are responsible for drawing their attention. I'll go in and rescue him. As for Pietro, just play some music, okay?" Chen Ye instructed.
"Hic… No problem." Deadpool just burped.
Perhaps it was too loud; the soldiers below heard the sound and shouted in the direction of the noise, "Who's there? Who's there?"
Seeing this, the nearby soldiers also picked up their weapons and became alert. They then slowly approached Chen Ye and the others.
Chen Ye and Pietro looked at Deadpool helplessly.
Deadpool was still shamelessly giving them a peace sign.
"Since we've been discovered, let's get to work."
"Let the show begin, play the music!" Chen Ye shouted with his goggles on.
Deadpool pulled out two long swords and leaped forward: "Your grandpa Deadpool is here! Tony Stark, are you in there?"
Dog Deadpool pulled out two grenades and tossed them down, yelling "Fire in the hole!" Then he pulled out two guns and jumped down as well.
"Enemy attack, enemy attack, someone is invading!" The Armed Forces saw Deadpool and his companion and immediately raised their guns and began firing.
"Tat-tat-tat-tat..."
Quicksilver put on his goggles and pulled a small speaker out of his backpack and pressed play.
Then, the world seemed to freeze.
The impact of the explosions also slowed down.
Deadpool and Dog Deadpool were also seemingly hit with a slow-motion button mid-air.
The music started, playing the very song that belonged to Quicksilver from Chen Ye's previous life, "Sweet Dreams."
This outrageous move was, of course, requested by Chen Ye. Chen Ye felt that without this music, fighting with superpowers lacked soul.
"Deng deng deng deng deng deng deng deng deng deng deng~~~~~~"
Chen Ye and Quicksilver were seen rapidly running, instantly surpassing Deadpool and Dog Deadpool.
Pietro even started playing around, changing Deadpool's pose. He crossed Deadpool's legs and placed the tip of the knife in his hand near Deadpool's eyes.
"Sweet dreams are made of this~~~~"
"Who am I to disagree~~~~"
Chen Ye saw this and smiled. He quickly began to redirect the bullets fired at Deadpool and the others.
Although he knew that even if they were hit, nothing would happen, the kind-hearted Chen Ye still chose to help them and spare them some pain.
And he took off all the Red Headscarves from the enemies' heads and rewrapped their hands with them.
"I have traveled the world and the seven seas"
"Everybody's looking for something"
Then, he accelerated and rushed to the deepest part of the cave, looking at the tightly locked door of the cave.
Chen Ye slowly raised his right hand, and a faint red light flickered from it.
Chen Ye's fingers, glowing with red light, were pointed at the door.
As Chen Ye slowly closed his fist, the door twisted like a rope.
"Some of them want to use you"
"Some of them want to abuse you"
With a "boom," the door collapsed.
Chen Ye saw two people sitting inside and quickly walked over to observe them. The one with the glowing chest should be Tony Stark.
The other, a white-bearded old man wearing a hat, should be Yinsen, the one who was supposed to get a lunchbox.
Looking at the unassembled Mark I Armor (Prototype) on the ground, Chen Ye felt relieved. The plot shouldn't have changed too much; Iron Man would still be born.
He looked at Tony Stark and Yinsen, who were like they were paused.
After Chen Ye confirmed it was the two of them, he quickly deactivated his superpowers.
Then, the world seemed to have pressed the play button and returned to normal.
