Night fell, and moonlight spilled across the restaurant streets, silver light illuminating every corner.
However, in this tranquil night, only Chen Ye stood alone in the middle of the street, his figure looking exceptionally lonely under the moonlight.
As if out of sync with the world.
Everyone was proceeding according to plan.
Chen Ye looked up at the sky, where faint starlight twinkled in the deep, dark expanse.
His eyes also sparkled with a determined light, as if declaring his resolve to the endless night sky.
He knew that as long as they got through tonight, the entire Hell's Kitchen's fate would change.
Time seemed to freeze at this moment, the faint sound of footsteps breaking the silence.
A group of figures in black slowly approached, their footsteps steady and powerful, as if each step was a challenge to Chen Ye.
Their faces wore grim expressions, their eyes revealing a fierce light, like demons from Hell.
Those people held various weapons, approaching Chen Ye step by step, as if to put him to death.
They were obviously the elite killers sent by the gang coalition, and each of their eyes was filled with killing intent.
However, facing these seemingly menacing figures in black, Chen Ye didn't take it too seriously.
His eyes revealed a kind of calmness and composure, as if all of this was within his expectations.
"I can't let you disturb the residents of Hell's Kitchen from resting. It's been chaotic enough lately."
Chen Ye said coldly, his voice echoing in the night sky, carrying an irresistible force.
He instantly activated the Speed Force, his body transforming into a streak of lightning, instantly breaking through the encirclement of those assassins.
His figure danced in the air, each strike carrying the momentum of a thunderbolt. The assassins hadn't even had time to react before they were knocked to the ground by him.
Chen Ye's block was on the easternmost side of Hell's Kitchen, far from the other war-torn areas, making it a relatively quiet haven.
He originally thought he could temporarily escape the world's conflicts in this corner. However, some things just don't go as planned.
Just as he was enjoying this rare tranquility, a heart-stopping mechanical roar came from the sky.
Chen Ye looked up and saw an Iron Man figure tearing through the sky and slowly descending not far from him.
It was a humanoid armor, emitting a cold metallic luster.
"What are you doing here, Tony?" Chen Ye asked curiously. He recognized the armor; it was clearly a masterpiece by Tony Stark.
Inside the armor, Tony Stark appeared, a hint of disappointment and wariness in his expression. He chose to remain silent in response to Chen Ye's question.
He had expected Chen Ye to react with shock and admiration upon seeing his armor.
But Chen Ye only asked about his presence with curiosity.
Chen Ye's gaze seemed to penetrate his mind, even through the armor's steel faceplate.
He knew that Chen Ye knew that he, Tony Stark, was inside the armor. This feeling of being seen through made him somewhat uneasy.
Whether it was saving him from danger before or revealing the true culprit behind the scenes now, Chen Ye had always been too smart, too calm.
This caused ripples in Tony's heart, and he began to have a new understanding of Chen Ye's inscrutability.
He felt as though he was transparent in front of Chen Ye, all his secrets laid bare.
This realization made Tony's attitude toward Chen Ye become subtle.
They were friends now, but Tony knew in his heart that if they became enemies in the future, Chen Ye would undoubtedly be the most difficult opponent.
This Eastern man was like a double-edged sword, capable of helping him, Tony, solve problems, but also capable of delivering a fatal blow at a crucial moment. This complex emotion made Tony more cautious when facing Chen Ye.
He began to consider whether he should learn more about Chen Ye's past to better predict his future actions.
Of course, now was not the time to consider this.
"Dude, how did you know?" Tony said, removing his mechanical helmet. "Don't you think it's cool? This is my invention, my creation. Shouldn't you be shocked and worship my genius design?"
Chen Ye looked at Tony and couldn't help but laugh: "Tony, your narcissism is truly unparalleled. However, your armor is indeed cool, I must admit that."
Tony's face lit up with a satisfied smile, "Of course! I'm Tony Stark! My inventions are top-notch."
"It was Ethan who contacted me, saying you were in trouble and needed my help. That's why I came. But it seems you've already handled it."
"You still haven't told me how you knew the person in the mech was me," Tony asked, still curious.
Chen Ye pointed to the glowing device on Tony's chest, "Who else's chest glows? And who else is capable of building this mech, and in such a flamboyant red?"
Tony looked down at his chest and then said self-importantly, "Come on, the color scheme is awesome and cool." Tony never thought he was wrong.
Chen Ye looked at Tony's smug expression and couldn't help but laugh, "Yeah, yeah, yeah. You and Deadpool have the same color scheme. How about you form a group and debut? He's Deadpool, and you're Iron Samurai."
"No, no, no. Iron Samurai doesn't sound cool at all. It doesn't suit me at all." Tony shook his head with a look of disdain.
"...Iron Man, that's it! Call me Iron Man!"
"From now on, call me Iron Man," Tony suddenly said proudly.
Chen Ye looked at Tony's proud expression and couldn't help but think of the confident and humorous hero he had seen in the movies.
He suddenly understood that although the real-life Tony Stark had many similarities to the Iron Man in the movies, there were also many differences.
They were both so confident and proud, but Tony's confidence and pride had a bit more reality and warmth.
"Tony, do you think you are Iron Man?" Chen Ye asked suddenly.
Tony was stunned for a moment, then laughed, "No, I am not Iron Man. I am Tony Stark, and Iron Man is just one of my inventions. But I know that there is only one Iron Man in this world, and that's me."
Just as Chen Ye and Tony were chatting, they were interrupted by a figure slowly walking over.
An old man wearing an ancient helmet appeared, his steps steady and unhurried, followed by a man and a woman.
The person in front was Magneto from the Brotherhood of Mutants. The two behind him were Magneto's subordinates, Pyro and Nightcrawler.
Pyro's ability allowed him to control fire within a certain range, but he couldn't create it. That's why he always carried a lighter.
Nightcrawler was a mutant with the ability to teleport short distances and sense mutant genes.
Magneto spoke to Chen Ye, "It seems I've interrupted your gathering. I hear you're also a mutant. Are you interested in joining our Brotherhood of Mutants?"
His voice was filled with charm and confidence.
Chen Ye frowned slightly upon seeing the newcomers and asked uncertainly, "Are you Magneto?"
S.H.I.E.L.D. agents Natasha and Hawkeye had been closely monitoring Chen Ye's actions.
At this moment, they also noticed the arrival of Magneto and his companions.
"I really didn't expect Magneto to come looking for Chen Ye personally. If Chen Ye joins the Brotherhood of Mutants, the Brotherhood of Mutants will be greatly strengthened. I need to report this to Director Fury immediately," Hawkeye said with a frown.
"I guess, given Chen Ye's personality, he probably won't join Magneto's group. However, based on the information we have, Chen Ye might not be able to defeat Magneto," Natasha analyzed calmly.
"That's fine too. Maybe they'll both end up injured," Natasha's lips curled into a sneer.
"Are you kidding? It's not that I look down on Chen Ye, but I don't think Chen Ye has the strength to fight Magneto to a standstill."
Because Hawkeye knew from S.H.I.E.L.D.'s intelligence that Magneto was a powerful mutant with the ability to control magnetic fields, almost unmatched. Those who opposed Magneto would either become dead or become his subordinates.
