Firetrucks roared to the scene, and firefighters quickly disembarked, launching into their rescue and firefighting operations.
Clad in heavy protective gear and wearing oxygen masks, they charged into the inferno, braving the intense heat and choking smoke.
However, the fire was too fierce. The firefighters could not approach the source and were forced to fight the flames from the perimeter.
At that moment, a collective gasp rose from the crowd.
Everyone looked up to see a figure in a red, form-fitting suit and mask dart through the crowd like a lightning bolt, soaring swiftly toward the burning building.
It was none other than the recently renowned Spider-Man. Since taking Chen Ye's advice, Peter had been relentlessly fighting crime across Big Apple City these past few days.
As Spider-Man arrived at the scene of the fire, his appearance brought both surprise and relief to everyone present.
First, he used his web-slinging skills to quickly traverse the buildings, searching for trapped survivors.
In another corner of the burning building, a young woman was trapped in the thick smoke, screaming in terror, her voice filled with despair.
Peter heard her cries for help and immediately flew in her direction.
He plunged through the inferno, dodging falling beams and burning walls, finally reaching the woman.
He wrapped his strong arms around her, holding her tightly, and then used his webs to safely transport her out of the fire.
Peter didn't rest. He continued to delve deeper into the blaze, searching for other trapped survivors.
With his help, one by one, the trapped were successfully rescued.
The firefighters were inspired by his heroic actions. They redoubled their efforts to extinguish the flames, working alongside Spider-Man until the fire was brought under control.
After nearly an hour of tense rescue operations, the fire was finally extinguished completely.
Peter had successfully completed his mission, rescuing all the trapped survivors.
Seeing Spider-Man suddenly appear like a shining star streaking across the sky, the media's frenzy erupted.
Countless camera shutters clicked in unison, each vying to capture the heroic Spider-Man's heroic pose in hopes of securing an exclusive headline.
Flashes erupted like a constellation of stars, illuminating the entire city.
Seeing this scene, Peter couldn't help but feel a surge of pride.
After all, he was still young and relished the feeling of being admired and adored by the masses.
He casually struck a few cool poses, playing along with the media.
"Mr. Spider-Man, why have you been appearing in the spotlight so frequently lately?"
"Do you possess superpowers?"

"Why the name Spider-Man? Don't you find spiders disgusting?"
As the reporters finished their photos and raised their microphones for an interview, Peter, still young at heart, couldn't hide his delight at being praised, but he knew he couldn't reveal his identity.
So, deliberately adopting a casual tone, he said, "I'm your friendly neighborhood Spider-Man! See ya!" With that, he didn't linger. He swiftly shot out a web line, anchoring it to a skyscraper.
With a leap, he vanished into the crowd like a true spider, light as air.
The media were left stunned and in awe.

He reveled in the thrill of soaring through the air, basking in the admiration and affection of the crowd.
This feeling made him feel like the city's guardian, filled with purpose and accomplishment.
However, Peter didn't notice that among the reporters, a pair of eyes burned with hatred as they watched him.
The owner of those eyes was Venom Eddie.
He had once been a reporter himself, a colleague of Peter in another universe. It was because Peter exposed his fabricated news that he lost everything.
He blamed Peter entirely, believing he had ruined his life.
*I thought you didn't exist in this universe, Peter,* Eddie thought bitterly. *Soon I'll show you what true disgrace means. I'll make you taste the same pain I endured!*
His heart burned with resentment and a burning desire for revenge. He swore he would make this so-called hero pay.

The headline boldly proclaimed "City Hero Spider-Man." The Green Goblin's eyes, filled with venomous intent, fixed on the distance. "It's time to pay our little spider a visit."
Initially, the Green Goblin had been astonished to see reports of Spider-Man. He hadn't expected such a figure to exist in this world.
But upon reflection, with the Osborn Corporation already established here, Spider-Man's presence didn't seem so strange after all.
This was the perfect opportunity to exact his revenge.
The Vulture, standing nearby, slowly stepped forward at the Green Goblin's words. "I can't wait to get my hands on that little spider. Let him try out my newly upgraded gear."
Vulture was immensely grateful for his alliance with the Green Goblin. Though the Goblin was no saint, the Osborn Corporation's funding had allowed Vulture to upgrade his weapons to their current state.
Now, Vulture felt he could take on ten of the previous Spider-Man at once.
"Once Spider-Man is eliminated, no one in this world will be able to stop me!" the Green Goblin declared with manic glee.
Vulture, standing nearby, eyed the Goblin warily. He knew that once Spider-Man was dead, their alliance might crumble instantly. Based on his understanding of the Goblin, he might be the next target.
Thus, Vulture had prepared a secret weapon against the Goblin.
For now, however, they needed to focus on Spider-Man. "Do you have a plan to lure him out?" Vulture asked. "And what about that Kamen Rider?"
The Green Goblin calmly produced two photographs. "Capture these two, and Spider-Man will come running. As for Kamen Rider, he hasn't shown himself in ages. We'll deal with Spider-Man first, then team up to take down that so-called Kamen Rider."
If Peter saw these photos, he would immediately recognize them as his best friend Harry and his beloved Mary.
