"Memories?" Julius asked, his brows furrowing slightly.
"Yeah, well, not anything regarding some backstory you're expecting. It's just the memories of how you can awaken the third ability."
"Really?" Julius's eyes widened.
"Really."
Destiny chuckled as she slowly patted his hair, seemingly amused by how easily he had taken the bait. There was something strangely comforting about the way she treated him, especially considering the sheer difference between their existences.
A moment ago, Julius had been terrified that she might erase his soul simply because he had witnessed something he shouldn't have, yet now she was casually sitting beside him and treating him almost like a younger family member.
He still couldn't completely lower his guard around her, but at this point, he had begun to understand that Destiny's personality was simply difficult to predict.
Destiny continued patting his hair for a few more seconds before glancing toward the sky.
