Beside the Cosmic Cube, a massive metal dragon's head slammed into the ground.
Hulk came leaping from the distance.
Mid-air, he smashed through a Chitauri soldier's aircraft, grabbed two Chitauri soldiers with his bare hands, and tore them in half.
He landed heavily beside the dragon's head, let out a roar, grabbed the head from the ground, and hurled it at a Chitauri soldier in the sky.

Hearing Qin Xiao's words, Hulk tilted his head and thought for a moment.
Then he raised the piece of hull in his hand and—*THUD!*—slammed it right onto Qin Xiao's head.
The blow drove Qin Xiao's body downward, his feet sinking into the grassy soil up to his thighs.
"What are you doing, Hulk?!" Qin Xiao shouted, his upper body barely above ground as he raised his hands in fury.
"You... liar! You said I could come out to fight all the time! Hulk hasn't been out for a long, long time!" Hulk roared, his anger directed at Qin Xiao.
Qin Xiao felt a pang of guilt at Hulk's words. He struggled to pull himself out of the grass.
"We didn't have many enemies before," Qin Xiao said, his voice returning to the soothing tone he used with a child. "Even though you didn't get out much, you've had your fill of fighting this time, haven't you? Look at you—your breathing is heavier than usual. You're tired from all the fighting, aren't you?"
Hulk's lips curled into a faint smile. Then...
*BAM!*
A direct punch sent Qin Xiao flying dozens of meters.
"After this punch, Hulk is satisfied!" Hulk grinned silently, then leaped from the ground, lunging toward the approaching dragon-shaped spaceship.
"Pah, pah!" Qin Xiao shook his head, spitting out a few blades of grass.

"Thor!" Qin Xiao shouted to the God of Thunder. "Strike the wormhole entrance with some lightning! Clear out those damn soldiers!"
Thor immediately complied, summoning two waves of lightning that struck the wormhole's entrance.
Qin Xiao took to the air again to keep the Chitauri soldiers from interfering.
Almost as soon as he flew up, Tony had already flown low to the ground with a fighter jet. As they neared the target, he pulled up sharply at a ninety-degree angle, skimming the Cosmic Cube's energy beam and hurtling toward the wormhole above.
"It's no good! There are still plenty of troops on the other side of the wormhole. It's too far—I can't guarantee a direct lock on that big guy!" Shuri's voice came through the headset. The drone carrying the nuclear warhead was being piloted by Little Shuri.
"Then let's increase the odds. Fly up!"
The moment Tony spoke, he shot forward, overtaking the plane and flying straight into the wormhole.
This wasn't the Battle of New York. There were no civilians below to face the threat of a nuclear bomb.
Tony didn't charge in blindly. Instead, he pulled ahead by half a body length and swept a powerful, single-use laser from his hand across the army stationed near the wormhole's entrance.
The God of Thunder, channeling a massive surge of lightning, followed close behind Tony. He hurled his hammer, wreathed in electricity, straight into the wormhole.
Together, they managed to clear a long corridor just before the jet entered the wormhole.
Unfortunately, a vast swarm of dragon-shaped spaceships and Chitauri soldiers were still lined up, waiting to enter. Nevertheless, the opening Tony and Thor had carved out was enough for the fighter jet to pass through safely.
Shuri reacted instantly. As soon as they entered the wormhole, she banked the jet, avoiding the main line of soldiers in space. After maneuvering the fighter to realign its course and get as close to the command ship as possible, she immediately locked onto the target.
"Locked on! Oh yeah! Time to taste the big guns!"
With a look of intense excitement, Shuri slammed the launch button on the simulator.
Without hesitation, Qin Xiao drew Loki's Scepter and hurled it at the Cosmic Cube before his feet even touched the ground.
*As expected of an Infinity Stone,* he thought. The scepter, embedded with the Mind Stone, pierced straight through the Space Stone's energy shield.
The moment the scepter touched the Cosmic Cube's outer shell, the energy shield went haywire. A shockwave erupted, instantly clearing the area for dozens of meters. The Cosmic Cube's energy beam snapped.
Qin Xiao ignored the scepter lying on the ground. His gaze remained fixed on the wormhole above.
Without the Cosmic Cube's energy supply, the wormhole began to shrink.
In the space on the other side of the wormhole, a streak of fire flashed by, vanishing in the direction of the command ship.
*BOOM!*
Though no sound reached them, the sight of the massive command ship instantly erupting into a fireball made everyone mentally provide the sound effect.
The timing was perfect. Just as the shockwave was about to reach the wormhole, it sealed shut, and space returned to normal.
On the ground, the Chitauri soldiers and their dragon-shaped ships seemed to lose all power.
They all shut down and crashed to the earth.

The God of Thunder gestured with his hammer. "Your move looked good visually, but it didn't actually take down many people. It was my hammer and lightning that cleared out the entire army around the wormhole!"
Qin Xiao shot them both a contemptuous glance.
"If I hadn't been fighting at the wormhole the whole time, you two could have attacked a hundred more times and still not cleared that many people. Understand?"
"Hmph!"
The God of Thunder and Tony snorted in disdain, turning their heads away from each other.
The three of them ceased their bickering, each wearing a faint smile of victory as they stood on the grassy field, gazing up at the sky at a forty-five-degree angle.
All around them lay the wreckage of the battle.
The scene was captured by cameras and broadcast live to the world.
The sight of the three heroes amidst the ruins of the battlefield evoked a sense of desolate grandeur.
*These are the superheroes of our Earth,* everyone watching thought in unison.
Suddenly, a dark shape streaked across the screen!
*BOOM!*
A dragon-shaped spaceship, its engines dead, came hurtling down from the side, crashing directly onto the three superheroes.
Just as the world had fallen silent when the wormhole closed, it fell silent again in this moment.
