Kurogami frowned. "If what you're saying is true… doesn't that mean she has become heartless?"
Kurana lowered her gaze. "You could call it that. But she is still the daughter of the person I admired most." His voice softened. "What I fear is that she may no longer recognize me as an ally."
Kurogami's expression darkened. "Even so… in the worst-case scenario, we may have to fight the Goddess Tian Ya."
A long silence followed.
Kurana exhaled heavily. "We…" He paused, his shoulders slumping. "I'm tired of all the work, Kurogami. That's why I want a successor—someone strong enough to protect this planet."
His eyes met Kurogami's. "And there may be no one more suitable than you, the person may be born already, we just have to find".
